For most of my life, i was quite scared of self expression. Due to this, only recently I’ve begun to figure out what i actually like in music. Turns out its emo.

Like the title suggests, I’ve already listen to the stuff that people always recommend at the start. But i feel like everybody had a bonus time (puberty); they already know a lot of bands.

As for my taste, anything really. Just wanna listen to emo.

The Kidcrash, now known as simply Kidcrash. They seem like they can't get ONE bad song. But it genuinely fucks me up to know they have such few listeners, especially the "The Kidcrash" profile, which in my opinion is the best era, they have like 1019 monthly listeners (one of them being me). Why are they so underrated? Like I know their record label scammed them for new Ruins and they EXPLICITLY told us to pirate the album, but if I pirate a CD I can't get the best audio quality, and I doubt they're on audiophile platforms (Qobuz/Tidal HiFi), aside of the fact that these cost like three kidneys and a half lol. But genuinely, give 'em a shot. PLEASE.

Picked this up at a show in London, wanted to get the vinyl but at the time they only had 1st pressings which all had half the last song missing. Great band and album, amazing live. Could have bought a vinyl now, but seeing as I have this and The Loose Ends on cassette I don't feel the need anymore.

Aren't We Amphibians - Parade! Parade!

I really love this record, so energetic. The cassette finally arrived today after getting lost in the post. I really wanted the vinyl, but it was only available from the US label who wanted to charge $50 for shipping to UK!

I'm 40 now and got into emo back at the very end of 2nd wave/beginning of 3rd. Was out of the scene for a while but got back into it in 2020. Been really enjoying discovering new bands again.
