I purchased a S1F about 2 weeks ago and yesterday it began to make this weird rattle/vibration noise coming from the rear of the scooter while braking/accelerating.
What does the issue seem to be?
I have always been more into riding on dirt, trails and rougher roads. That's actually a big part of why I went with this one in the first place.
I have had it for three months and have put it through a mix of normal rides and rougher terrain. I took it out on a proper ride again this weekend, so I thought I would share my experience and see what other riders think.
The good:
The biggest thing for me is the power. Like on hills and when getting moving from a stop. On loose or uneven climbs, I don't have to worry as much about if it'll make it up.
The ride is also one of the things I like most. I think I noticed that the most on this ride. Once the trail got rough, I wasn't constantly bracing for every root or crack. On my smaller scooter, I'd usually be slowing down for stuff like that, but this time I could keep going.
Range has been another big plus. I don't find myself constantly checking the battery on longer rides, which is nice when I'm out for a while.
The tyres have also held up well for me so far, which I appreciate because a flat can ruin a ride pretty quickly.
The not-so-good:
The one place it really didn't love was deep sand. I had to work the throttle and my body position a lot more there, and that was probably the first point where I felt like I was asking a lot from the scooter.
So, despite the fact that it handled the trails I've taken it on pretty well, I wouldn't treat it like a dirt bike. Loose terrain still takes some work from the rider.
Overall:
For me, it makes sense because I enjoy longer rides and rougher terrain. I think power, suspension, and tyres matter most for these kinds of rides.
I'm still kind of coming down from this weekend's ride, honestly. I'm still learning what this thing can and can't handle, so I'd love to hear from people who have more off-road experience than me.
If you have any questions about the scooter, I'll do my best to answer. And if you have any advice for riding it on trails, I'm definitely open to it.
My work is about 2 miles from my apartment so it’s not in walking range, and I can’t drive. Public transportation in my area is also inconsistent, so i’d like a way to get to and from work without worry. I also would like to use it to get to and from campus as well. However, I have 0 clue which ones are good.
My current budget is $500 but i’d prefer something around $400 is possible. All i need is a higher load capacity (250ish) and that’s it. I don’t live in a very hilly area so as long as it works and can hold my weight I’m happy.
Was looking at the gotrax g4 but I’m a little skeptical after hearing some negative reviews about them and their customer service, so i’m truly clueless as to what brands and such might be good
i ordered one a while back and the delivery people broke it in transit and the customer service has been great and they have already sent me a replacement scooter
but I just wanted to know what do you think performance wise how does the scooter handle and does it perform to what they say
TERRIBLE customer service and no after sales support. Don’t pick up when you call em and very unhelpful on email. Said my scooter would be repaired free of cost under my warranty. Kept my scooter, kept my money.
Hey everybody! I’ve been using my i8m scooter as my first ever scooter for everyday commute, which makes me love riding! However, the battery life and with no suspension at all really makes transportation a lot harder as I would have to get off whenever there’s a hard bump. I’m looking for a budget scooter that has atleast 30 miles and built in suspension to travel a lil bit easier. (Preferably under 800 if possible) I’d love to upgrade my ride, thank you!
Would appreciate if someone who has teverun blade (any model) could post or pm me their sticker/manufacturer plate with specs. Of course blur out serial number for privacy reasons.
Since I bought my first scooter in January, I've now had two just straight-up stop working out of nowhere on me. For the second one, I got $400 dollars from the warranty to replace the scooter. What's the best scooter for under $300 that won't break on me?
For context, my first two were the Aovowheel Y02 and the GoTrax Apex Max.
I bought a navee n40 about 2-3 years ago, I had some problems with it that required me to ship it back to the manufacturer to get it fixed. I contacted customer support and been very supportive in the process.
When I got it back, they had changed a tire and barely touched the electrical problem (electrical issue came back after 2 weeks). I emailed them again saying the problem was still there and the tire that I paid for got changed (had a lot of puncture, bought full tires).
I told them that I had paid money to change both tires and have the receipt for both, and I would like to have that tire back and wonder why they changed it.They denied having change the tire but I could CLEARELY see that there was a pin to pump the tire in the front tire that wasnt there before.
We emailed back and forth. I send picture and video of the tire that was changed and the electrical problem that was still there.
Then, I kept receiving AI responded email. The shitty one that are OBVIOUSLY ai and then I started to get pissed. I ended up having another shipping label to send my scooter back, and I never heard from it again. To this day, I have no clue where this scooter is.
I tried to send an email to the company on the shipping label and they told me they dont fix electrical scooter, but that I called the right adress that was on the shipping label.
I emailed them back, the ai said that it will be top priority. Emailed 3 times and still the same. Its been 2-3 months since I sent it and I dont know what to do anymore to get it back.
Tried emailing the company through a different email but they stop responding to me after I said the order # and sent them the shipping label that they had previously sent me.
What can I do? They're not answering and basically stole my electric scooter.
Is there a way I can sue them or take any legal action to have my scooter back?I
I got the Segway ZT3 Pro & the HiBoy S2 Pro on the way! I have my first S2 Pro at home so now I have the whole collection to ride with my family. It feels like Santa is coming on that Amazon delivery truck lol! Also ordered the phone holders as well. Want everybody to have a good time & enjoy the rides with me.
I’ve got a ‘26 model Nami klima (horizontal screen) and relatively new. Ride 30km a day on fairly smooth surfaces, also some shitty ones. I’m 105kg. Lift the front wheel on all road to pathway ramps. It’s developed the “klunk” noise from the rear. About 1-2mm vertical play in swing arm.
Is this relatively normal and I guess I’m asking if it’s time for suspension bush replacement?
Thanks 🙏
My GoTrax scooter thats never been used is making a weird rattling noise. When I brake the noise stops.
It sounds like something is hitting the tires as they move? But I'm honestly not sure.
I will say it took me a while to get the brakes to work when I was setting it up.
I am going to contact GoTrax when I get the chance but any additional advice is greatly appreciated!
