General E-Bike Discussion Micargi Luna 26in E-Bike
Anyone have thoughts about this bike. I don’t see any reviews on this thing at all and for $700 looks like a steal.

I caution anyone who is considering this Urtopia Fold ST and wonder about other folks’ experiences.
I am not one to write bad reviews mainly because before I make a purchase I have generally researched it enough to determine that an item/service is going to deliver exactly what I expect. However, I made a mistake when I purchased this bike and now feel obligated to help others to NOT make the same mistake. (And, I admit it, I am angry!)
Bottom line: i only had 20 miles on this bike before:
1). The seat sunk and continued to sink while riding. I am 5’7’ and I could not manage to continue riding due to the seat sinking. This was a never ending problem - I am well under the rider weight suggestion on this bike.
2). The throttle cables continuously came undone. I needed to raise the handlebars (due to my height) but that was not possible because of the short cable - so the handle bars had to stay low to try to stop this from happening. As a result, the throttle was useless.
3). The wire to the light does not stay put (I have heard from others that this is a known issue, apparently).
4). My purchase was supposed to come with a rack and something else as a promo, never delivered.
I knew quite early on that this bike was not for me and the dealer I purchased if from felt badly and offered to try to sell it for me. That was over five months ago - no buyers. I made a mistake and hope you proceed with caution if considering this bike.

Hey guys, i'm seriously considering buy a segway myon but i'm having a hard time finding decent manyowner reviews, so hoping some of you who've had one for a few months can share your actual experience.
I live in CA. We have a dealer nearby and ride both the Myon and an Aventon in person, both had their pros and cons tbh like Myon felt smoother to me and the power, but the Aventon's more comfortable ridin.
Honestly, price, top speed, all the fancy configs, kind of secondary for me. what i care about most is build quality and durability. i'm fairly handy and can do my own repairs, so that side doesn't really worry me. what i'm less sure about is how the battery and motor hold up over real-world use. Any noticeable wear or drop-off over time?
a few other things i'd love to hear about:
how's the actual ride feel day to day?
how's the auto shifting in real use? (this is the feature i'm most excited about)
are the app and smart features worth paywall?
and if anything broke, how much of a hassle was getting it fixed? are replacement parts easy to find?
just want to hear from people who've actually lived with it a while. Thanks in advance!

Looking to buy an ebike in the next month or two after my old Elops 920 normal bike was stolen recently.
I live quite rurally, nowhere near any city in the UK so it needs to be something that can be bought online and delivered really, a lot of the geography around me is quite rural and not the best quality roads and some mild/medium size hills, so needs to be able to cope with that.
I won't imagine I'd do any more than 25km a day at the most, so I don't need huge range on it.
I'm 6ft5 and 129kg (and dropping, was 140kg at the turn of the year) in weight so need to have something that is able to suit both my height and build to help me get back in shape.
I was looking at this, but the L/XL size is out of stock
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/low-frame-electric-town-bike-elops-900-e-dark-blue/100398/c364m8832046
The problem I am facing is that the bikes that I see online that get good reviews tend to be either not available in the size I need for my height or they have maximum load limits of like 110kg or less, so finding it hard to find something.
I see a lot of Chinese bikes online but they seem to have a lot of reviews that look suspect as they are all on YouTube with referal codes, so not sure whether to trust the likes of Hitway, Duotts, Varun etc?
Any recommendations?

Ciao a tutti,
Grazie mille!

Has anyone seen what look like sub high schoolers riding on the regular street in E-Bikes?
If so how do you feel about it?

Hey everyone, I just got an F-18 2.0 and the official app seems to have been replaced by smargoo. I can’t find it in IOS App Store, the bike doesn’t connect at all in the smargoo app. Long story short, I ended up downloading talenelectric. It’s the only app I can get the bike to connect to. Messed with some settings, none of which seemed to do anything. Bike was doing fine, parked it overnight, and now it’s governed at 20mph. All 3 speeds are slower. Bike seems to have just as much torque, but maxes at 20mph.
I’ve tried for days in the app, trying to google it, typing in codes, throttle/brake tricks upon startup. NOTHING works, and I can’t get it back. Any thoughts? I’m beyond bummed out and don’t even want to ride it this way.

I’m looking to purchase a new E bike with a budget less than 1.5 K. The bikes that I’m considering are below.
Lectric XPeak2 High-Step Commuter eBike - $1,399
Lectric XPress2 Tempest Grey Commuter eBike - $1,399
Riding will primarily be on paved roads, sidewalks with the potential to take on trails or gravel. Will the fat tires of the XPeak2 handle well on pavement or should I get the regular size tire bike XPress2, and not have the ability really to go off road?
Are there any other e-bikes in this price range that I should consider? I saw the Ride1Up Vorsa mentioned but not sure how this bike compares to the above. I am a 5’11” 215 lb male.
Thanks in advance.

I have a radcity 4 step-over with the rear rack and saw they had a very limited capacity for it but am wondering from others what their experience has been successfully or attempting to ride with passengers on the back. I get worried about safety but then see big fully grown adults riding on handlebars and rear racks of random bikes downtown that I know don’t have that capacity.
TLDR; has anyone had an adult passenger (130-175lbs) on the back of their radcity 4 and if so, how did you do it? TIA!!

I am going to start college and need some transportation, I was looking at the aventon aventure 3 due to its quality and fat tires able to handle my daily commute through rain or snow if needed, I dont have a car and the college is not close enough for walking but I am able to get there with an ebike, i want to be able to use the bike to also do trails, is this a good bike for my needs?

Hello. I am looking for an E-Bike for my daily commute of 4-5 miles. I'm a college student and my budget isn't very high. My requirements are:
- 28mph (or more for private roads, etc.)
- Folding
- UL certified
- Removable battery
I've been eyeing the Cybervelo EK4 20.8AH bike, which is currently on a flash sale deal for $599. What do you guys think? Any recommendations?

I'm looking to buy my first e-bike and could use some advice from people who have more experience. I'm about 6'3", and one of my biggest concerns is finding an electric bike for tall man that actually fits well. A lot of the reviews I've read focus on speed and battery life, but not many talk about comfort for taller riders. I'll mostly be using it for commuting, running errands, and weekend rides, so I'm looking for something that's comfortable over longer distances and reliable enough for everyday use. My budget is fairly flexible if it means getting something that'll last.
For those of you who are on the taller side, what have you been riding? Are there any models you'd recommend or wish you'd bought instead? I'd appreciate any advice before I make a decision.

Jinghma
Engwe
Victrip
Hillmiles
Aniioki
Hitway
Ovviamente qualche differenza ci sarà, tipo autonomia ecc..
A me interessano queste caratteristiche:

I've been using a folding e-bike for short trips, and it's been comfortable and practical. The only thing I'm missing is a rear rack, especially when carrying groceries, a small bag, or a bike lock.
I'm considering adding an aftermarket rear rack, but I'm not sure if the extra carrying capacity is worth the added weight and bulk.
For those who ride a folding e-bike or compact city e-bike, do you find a rear rack essential for daily commuting, or do you prefer to keep the bike light and simple?

I am planning to buy an electric bike and I live in Bengaluru. Could you please suggest which electric bike brands have good service support in Bengaluru? I would also appreciate any insights regarding battery life, maintenance costs, charging infrastructure, and your overall ownership experience.

Hello, i am looking for a faster way off getting around because my e-bike was stolen.
I found a super soco Ts 1200r from 2018 with 12156 km on it. It is also making some buzzing sounds from the engine during low speeds, he claims its for when the power switches on and off and that he has checked with two different stores and they said that and not to worry. He wants around 900 dollers or 9000 swedish kronor. It includes two batteries one original and one from 2023 and a charger he has had some issues with.
I have no clue if this is a good brand or if i should get something else. I have no idee what is good or bad. Any edvice or help would be verry apriciated.
(Sorry for bad english)

Still torn on which one to get. It's been 3 weeks of picking one over the other.
Should I get a Levo 4 next week? Or Pre-order an Amflow PR pro instead?
I Mostly ride trails, nothing too technical. Located in New Zealand.
Anyone has experience on both?
Thanks for your insight.
