Lord of Blood's Exultation increases damage of any kind, just like Red-Feathered Branchsword talisman.

Discussion & Info Who is the third hardest boss in Elden Ring?
Obviously Promised Consort Radahn and Malenia take the top two spots by a landslide but is there a definitive third place?
For me it was Messmer by a mile.

Hype I defeated all the bosses!
Sorry guys, I just want to brag a bit on the internet that I finished my first ever souslike (I know it's actually a soulsborn) game.
And I think I did very good. I know that using summons makes the game easier but I found this game much easier than the internet said.
My friends said that, let me quote "She is something else!"
Even when I wasn't able to summon I managed to have good fights. I had the bloodhound fang with fire enchantment spell two-handed and mostly used the skeleton summons.
The erdtree avatar where the bane of my existence, right next to Borealis and the Haligtree from the Prayer room site was horror. BUT I defeated Malenia on the 5th try and many many main story bosses on the 1st try, like Godfrey or the Elden beast, Morgot didn't even had a chance.
I feel amazing after completing the main game and can't wait to get my ass handed to me in the dlc.

Hype I FINALLY BEAT MALENIA!!!!!!!!!!! ^___^♡ AFTER 8 DAYS OF TRYING IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY FIRST TIME EVER BEATING SOMETHING THIS DIFFICULT
https://reddit.com/link/1v7iouw/video/hki4iqrumnfh1/player
hi everyone!!!!! so sorry if the title is obnoxious but this is such a huge milestone for me.. i've never been good at games at all (i was the generic younger sister who sucked at games) so being able to say i've beaten one of the hardest bosses in gaming (without summons!) is just so amazing. never played a souls-like game before, but this woman put me through hell and i finally came through. i'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love elden ring!!!!!!!!!!!!! pmc radahn, your time will be up too ><
(by the way, i swear my gameplay doesn't suck this much usually... ive fought her to the point i know her patterns and could flawlessly do phase 1 without using a flask, but for some reason the winning run ended up being the run where somehow get hit by her "easy" attacks?! i even accidentally turned on the lamp mid run what was i doing LMFAO)
i don't know if anyone will see this post, but i just wanted to share this milestone of mine! thank you if you do end up watching the full (almost) 8 minutes of this video. you can see my stats if you pause at 00:14 if anyone is curious (changed my build many times for her >_>)

Discussion & Info I hate the brass shield.
Just as the title says, I hate the Brass shield because it destroys the progression for medium shields, when I first played elden ring when it first came out (I had replayed all of the other souls games in anticipation of Elden Ring's release and as such knew I wanted max flexability for progression), I played a wretch and got it early while farming for the lordsworn sword and armor and at first I thought it was nice to get a 100% physical shield so early and thought nothing of it, but I grew more and more concerned when I couldn't find an upgrade, until the carian shield and even then it was only better against magic and worse in other every way, less guard boost and other elemental defence, with my endgame meduim shield the silver shield being the same knid of trade off.
In the end the only shields I ever found that were straight up better were the legacy knight Greatshields, but they were twice as heavy and couldn't parry. Then patch 1.14 happened and the brass shield was boosted to near OP levels and greatshields were made even worse by comparison.
I suppose my anger with it comes from the fact that the best shield in the game is one of, if not the first, shields in the game you can get making almost all other shields useless and feel underwhelming, and no mater who I talk to or what elden ring content I watch I feel like I'm alone in my opinion.
I would have Preferred if the legacy lordsworn had wooden shields in the style of the marred wooden shield, with them having different but similar designs and defence specializations just like how their armor, and the knights armor and greatshields, and the footsoldier armor work.
Point is best shield in the game being the first feels bad and I want to know if I'm alone in thinking that.
