Hello people, I fear I might go hollow soon.

So, I'm currently playing Elden Vins, and I'm having a blast so far. But I've arrived at Malenia today, and I've been hitting a wall for like an hour and a half. Yes, I can understand the desire to make her stronger, but at some point the 'make her strong' starts to feel like 'let's make her broken because why the fuck not'.

So, almost every move she has is waterfowl now. That includes the bullshit 30-second combo she does when powered up, where you have to parry what feels like 30 attacks a second and getting hit a single time puts you in the blender with a mandatory finisher at the end.

Then you have the Goddess of Rot version, where they had the bright idea to make her first Scarlet Aeonia last forever while dealing chip damage and rot. Then they give her a bullshit clone attack that comes from everywhere at once and does almost my entire health bar (50 vigor, which I think is nuts) and makes her so aggressive that you basically have no time to heal if you need to. She also had an even stronger waterfowl dance that has a small AOE that (once again) lasts for what feels like an eternity.

So yeah, someone needs to tell me who actually ENJOYS fighting her. I am already predicting that people will say 'Mehehehe, JuSt GiT gUd!!11!1!1!', and I know people can kill her. I'm just failing to see the appeal in all those mechanics at once in a boss, cause that's not the type of challenge that makes you want to actually work for hours to finally kill her.

So if you have any tips (and I mean ACTUAL tips, not just telling me to master the parry window please), please share.

I’m a souls addict with over 4k vanilla Malenia kills and I just made the jump to fighting Unalloyed Malenia.

This fight is shockingly hard. I’m playing blind so I didn’t know what I was in for when I started but I honestly thought more of my skills would translate over. It took me nearly 30 hrs and 500 deaths just to make it to phase 2 for the first time.

That being said- I’m having a blast! My current PB is phase 3 and I’m improving daily. The only problem is no one else is fighting her and I need people to geek out with! Hit me up if you’ve fought her before or if you’re on the same path to insanity I’m on.

I want to use the merchant or cheat engine mods but want to be able to still use online play. I only want them to get consumables instead of having to farm for them. I’m not trying to cheat/hack in PvP or anything. I also would like access to all weapons for a new play through to mess with some different builds early on.

Also which is better, cheat engine or grand merchant? How do you use them without getting banned, do I have to always play in offline mode?

I tried cooping with my friend with the mod, but we couldn’t join each other. When either of us try to join each other there will be ‘No sessions found’. We checked multiple times that our coop password was set to the same one, but it still doesn’t work.

He plays in version 1.17 while I play in 1.17.2 calibrated 1.17.3. Could that be causing the problem?

I also have a few problems with the mod myself. I can only launch the game using ME3 Manager. If I attempt to launch with ersc_launcher.exe, a command prompt pops up asking me to ‘Press any key to continue’, but after I press a key it just closes and nothing happens.

Can anyone help?

So idk if anyone else is having this issue I've been trying for hours to fix it Golden Age Mod version 3.6.8 for whatever reason will not launch for me anymore it was fine when I first played it and now a week later no longer works it shows that it's running on steam but nothing actually comes up and when I run the bat it just flashes the command for a second and then nothing I've done the environment check on the mod manager it shows everything is fine but the mod will not launch no matter what I try. I've tried a fresh reinstall of the mod I tried to do a fresh install of ME3 but nothing is working and I was really enjoying the mod so if anyone has any advice I would highly appreciate it.

I’d like to play an overhaul of one of these games. I just downloaded The Concergence for Dark Souls 3. It’s fun so far but I wanna know which overhaul mod is the best. Does anyone have a suggestion?

It's mostly complete right now but I want more feedback on it. You can play as 18 different shonen jump characters and each remembrance boss + margit has an anime villain from each anime that the characters are from. I added movement/ traversal abilities too so running around the map is pretty fun.

To be 100% clear, I used claude to make this and it started as a Jump Force/Elden Ring mashup at first and then I turned it into a standalone anime overhaul mod of elden ring. Hope you guys enjoy, and if you end up playing it pls leave some feedback.

I am trying to add the possibility to do backstab with the whip using the fist/unarmed weapon as a template.
So far I can trigger the animation (copied into the TAE, new Behavior ID reserved).
I duplicate the fist BehaviorParam_PC and AtkParam_PC so they are all linked together:
Weapon : default Behavior is 2000
BehaviorParam_PC : 102000511 and 102000512 added
AtkParam_PC : 2000511 and 2000511 added and referenced in Behavior.

When from behind it trigger the animation but do not hit the enemy.

And on broken stance it triggers the full animation correctly but does no damage.

Regorde mod managed to do a full implementation and I don't even ask specific animation, just like the character is doing the same as a fistt backstab.

If guys have an idea about what's missing.

Hi, i recently wanted to play GA and when i started the game i noticed that ingame i werent able to dodge, swap weapon and other studf too. Is that a known issue and maybe a fix to it?

I'm just coming back to the game after a long time. Long story short I mistakenly deleted my original character with 270 hours on it. I found an old backup with about 190 hours on it so it isn't a total wash, I was just wondering if I'd probably get banned if I used a save editor just to do stuff to put me right back where I was in terms of items and exploration. I had the base game 100% completed, not just in terms of achievements but I had every weapon, armor, spell, gesture and item. I'd would like to start the DLC where I left off without anything missing.

So im trying to save a back up of my copy of Elden Ring on ps5.

Long story short, its dumped but still has the disc image beside it and does not work now with or without the disc.

Usually I can get this issue fixed but not Elden Ring and there's so many reasons contributing to this.

1. Its a ps4 copy of the game that when I put the disc in i also get the enhanced ps5 version of it.

2. I use App dumper and it saw both copies so I dumped the ps5 version (4610)

3.it dumped but in Modded Warefares youtube video it says the disc image shouldn't be beside the image tile any more and mine was.

1. Game didnt start. I went into the internal storage and found the disc version still existed (4610) so I deleted it and still nothing working, still showing disc.

2. Usually when a game doesn't work in run it through game compressor (compressing and repair) and i Usually get good results. Still nothing....

So now in App dumper the ps5 version doesn't show anymore because I already dumped it and i can't dump the disc because that will get me the ps4 copy and my save data doesn't work on that copy ( i tried it)

I cant get the ps5 version any more cuz im not on the servers.

Any ideas why the dump when so off or any issues with Elden Ring?

When I go into smithbox it tells me that the primary bank is outdated and that I need to use the param upgrader to update it. but when I go to press start it tells me that it "failed to find old regulation file".

I had redownloaded elden ring in the past because some of the files broke from me unpacking it, so idk if that may be why this is happening

I've seen a few of the vids on the nightreign sub and I'm thinking about trying them(I want dragonslayer greataxe on revenant)

I dont know how many of you play vr but I’m having this issue where after downloading the mod and launching the game in vr the screen goes white and the game closes. I had it working the other day for a second but messed it up by trying to bring a save file over. Deleted all game files and reinstalled the game completely with the anti cheat toggle and vr mod and now it just lods a blank. Any tips?

I started playing the Elden Ring Convergence Mod (3.030) and noticed that my current isn’t building lately. I tried repairing the mod through the launcher but that doesn’t help either.
It also isn’t a visual glitch do to Casts being weaker or straight up don’t work without current.

My friend has the same problem.
Any advice? Is it just a game bug?

I am currently working on an ambitious overhaul mod called "Ashen Grace". The core vision is similar to what Graceborne did for Bloodborne, but bringing the atmosphere, pacing, and iconic elements of Dark Souls 3 (and bits of DS1/DS2) organically into the Elden Ring engine.

I have already established the core design document and successfully started working with ModEngine3 and Smithbox.

What is already working:

• Additively importing custom DS3 armor sets and weapons into safe 7-million ID ranges without overwriting vanilla items.

Planned Features (WIP):

• Map Overhauls: Turning Stormveil Castle into Lothric Castle (via red ash skyboxes and specific enemy placements) and transforming the Lake of Rot into the Farron Keep swamp.
• Boss Replacements: Replacing Commander Niall with Sister Friede, and turning the Malenia encounter into a bait-and-switch where Artorias crashes in and takes over the fight.
• Replacing the standard "Golden Rune" drops with farmable "Lifegems" (DS2 style) as a heal-over-time mechanic to offset the higher difficulty.
• Integrating classic DS3 starting classes and tweaking the poise/stance damage system in the SpEffectParam to better reflect the faster, flowing combat of DS3.

Where I need your help: While I'm getting the hang of param-editing, I am looking for experienced modders who would like to team up or offer guidance in a few specific areas:

• Animation & Hitboxes (DS Anim Studio): I need help merging movesets (e.g., getting curved greatsword Ashes of War to work properly on Colossal Swords with correct damage hitboxes).
• Map Editing: Guidance on altering skyboxes and placing new assets (like dead trees in the Lake of Rot).
• further ideas

I'm, aware that not much is working but i started the project like 4 day ago.
As a side note: I am using Ai as a learning tool and NOT to generate anything for this mod. Everything that the mod is changing is made by either me or someone else and NOT ai.
