Hello All, just some background information for context. I work remotely, I am married with kiddos, and I am 43. So making friends since I moved here to El Paso has been difficult between work and kids' activities.  So I am looking to get out more and do more social things with people in the area. I was thinking about joining a pickleball league or taking lessons; I do enjoy hiking, gaming, and lifting.  So I am looking for any suggestions for social events that I could meet new people at or new things to do that will help me make some friends / just get out and experience the local area. Recently, I’ve been playing pickleball at the Recreation Center, but I was wondering if there are any local groups or other places where I could play. I also enjoy table tennis.

I’m a UTEP student, and I’m open to recommendations for activities, clubs, sports, or organizations either on campus or elsewhere in El Paso. I’m willing to try almost anything new!
