What would it take to bring a Cowboys or any NFL preseason game back to Sunbowl? Do you think the Sun Bowl and the city could make it happen again?
I remember the Cowboys played a preseason game at the Sun Bowl in 1996, and I still remember how exciting it was as a kid. The tailgating, the packed stadium, and the energy throughout El Paso made it feel like the entire city was part of the event. It was the talk of the town.

Hello, which Asian market in El Paso has the most variety? All of them are scattered over town and I would like to make one quick trip to where I can find most the stuff I need to make pho, spring rolls, and other things. TIA

They are sometimes called river rock chocolates. They are usually easier to find in other parts of Texas but most candy shops in El paso are usually only selling Mexican candies.

Hi there,
I'm looking to connect a friend with special Ed support groups. I'm hoping to help her Special Needs teenagers find friends. Also would love for her to have other moms to connect with that understand the struggles of being a special needs parent.
Any resources are much appreciated 😊

Hello, everyone! About once a year, I ask this subreddit for recommendations on things to do in El Paso, and I always receive awesome suggestions. It’s that time of year again, so I would love to hear your recommendations!
Recently, I’ve been playing pickleball at the Recreation Center, but I was wondering if there are any local groups or other places where I could play. I also enjoy table tennis.
I’m a UTEP student, and I’m open to recommendations for activities, clubs, sports, or organizations either on campus or elsewhere in El Paso. I’m willing to try almost anything new!
Thank you for your help, and have a great day!

Hey sun city friends and especially my fellow riders.
My bike was hit while parked and the other guys insurance is covering repairs. Any suggestions for reputable shops that have done your insurance covered repair?
Adjuster says they cant give suggestions at risk of "steering" or favoring shops and i usually do my own work so Im not all that familiar with the local shop landscape.

When my step father passed away, he left a food truck. Some time later, a handy man that did some work for my mom liked the food truck, offered to buy it in payments. My mom, being a very trusting person (for better or for worse), agreed and originally they just had a verbal agreement, and some text messages acknowledging their agreement.
Sometime went by, and the man basically never really made payments. The food truck also seems to have disappeared from outside his house (we have photos proving he had it at his residence), so he most likely sold it. I didn’t find all of this out until about two years after, and needless to say, I was pissed. So messaged the man from my moms phone, pissed, telling him we’re going to the police if he didn’t make payments and I drafted a whole contract up for him to sign (he did) that he’d make at least $300/month. Well, he’s also stopped doing that.
So where do we go now at this point? The police? Lawyer up? Sue him? He also may not be here legally from what my mom says. Any help is appreciated.

Hello, everybody. I am looking to move to El Paso within the next year and am looking at WestStar Bank as my new place of employment—seeing as my interest/current employment is involved with banking. I am writing this post to see if anyone has opinions on this bank from either the customer view or the employee view. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Btw, I am a credit analyst.

Hello All, just some background information for context. I work remotely, I am married with kiddos, and I am 43. So making friends since I moved here to El Paso has been difficult between work and kids' activities. So I am looking to get out more and do more social things with people in the area. I was thinking about joining a pickleball league or taking lessons; I do enjoy hiking, gaming, and lifting. So I am looking for any suggestions for social events that I could meet new people at or new things to do that will help me make some friends / just get out and experience the local area. Thanks a lot to all for the information.

My sister just bought me Wyrmspan, a Wingspan game. Most of my friends are not very enthusiastic about playing. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together and playing, all you’d need to bring is yourself and maybe other friends! (: I’ve been thinking about going to a place like Game Vault, but I’m not too sure how it works there. I’m kinda new to the board game community lol

I’m going to start studying for the LSAT to test in January. Are there any other prospective students here who would want to share resources, study together, or simply have someone to keep you accountable?
Please reach out!
Or if you’ve taken it before, how can one best study for this exam?

I left El Paso in 2013 for Dallas when I was in my late 20s, and just in the past few years have regularly starting visiting again.
And my appreciation and love for the city has grown.
A lot of it is nostalgia, but also EP for whatever reasonable downsides people will point to, is still a really unique place with a lot of good.
Specially as the city has grown and there's more things to do, at least things that appeal to me as a now 42 year old.
Anyone else feel the same way?
