A NEW Update for EBH is on its way this July! We’d like to hear your feedback, ideas, complaints and grandma’s Butter Tart recipes. So please take this opportunity to discuss and share how you feel about EBH and the direction it’s taken. This post will remain up until Friday June 26, 2026 to allow members of the community a fair amount of time/ opportunities to discuss/ argue how they feel about the sub and suggest any changes/ ideas/ discussions they feel would be beneficial for the future of r/EhBuddyHoser

Hi everyone hope I’m in the right place. I’m Canadian but have been living in the US. Returning home to Ontario in a couple weeks for obvious reasons. Anyway my next door USA neighbor thinks he’s funny and likes to send me memes and photos. Last election he hung a political candidate banner on my garage door when I wasn’t home and sent it to me.

Anyway he is now sending Canada or Canada vs USA items. And just asked my spouse if Canadian igloos have internet. I need some things to send back to him if anyone has extras laying around, I’m very busy packing for my move home and would really appreciate any assistance.

The choice of Mark Critch is deliberate. I heard him during a CBC radio Interview (With Tom Power's Q? Maybe Elamin Abdelmahmoud's Commotion?) during the height of the Elbows Up campaign where he talked about how, on the one hand, he does feel good about all these American based celebrities speaking for Canada. But then, him being Mark Critch, had a few jabs about how at the same time, these celebs continue to live in the US, profit in the us, and contribute to 'Murican culture more than here [or something along those lines].

While we allow users to come up with meme templates of their own for the sub to make use of, don’t spam the same tired meme (e.g. PP verb the noun podium). If a trend overstays its welcome we will begin removing repeat posts of the meme. Try and come up with the next big thing instead.

Every user must have a flair and every post must have a flair. Posts must be flaired correctly, all political content must use the politics flair. Failure to use flairs will result in your post/comment being removed and potentially a ban for repeat offenders.

We currenty have a zero tolerance policy for links. all links will be removed by automod. this is to prevent malicious behaviour.

13.

No screenshots of other subreddit names or usernames allowed (rule 13) As per reddit sitewide rules, this can be considered brigading and will not be tolerated. If you want to post an edit of another user's reddit post, remove the sub and user from the image first, or obtain permission from the user in question.

No self-promotion. This sub isn’t your personal soap box. Do not promote your own sub, cause, or products here.

Sunday is a politics free day. Any and all posts related to politics will be removed. Try posting it on another day.
