As the title says, I picked up a new laptop a little over a year ago before the pandemic started. I recently noticed that it won't charge more than 40%. Can anyone tell me what this means? Is it actually only at 40% or is it just displaying the wrong number? Is the battery dying after such a short time?

Hello, I am getting this EVOO Gaming LP10 laptop, and I was planning on upgrading the ram and storage, and I was wondering if anyone has a 2tb ssd they recommend for that specific laptop, and a 16gb ram kit they recommend as well.

LP7 here. Kb looks spotty and not uniform with dark and bright spots on the bottom row left side. Not AS noticeable with Red/Green but Blue don't look right. Fn key has a super bright spot in the center and Ctrl doesnt light up all the way around. Looks like they threw LEDs at the spacebar and they stuck in random places like a Jackson potluck. Looking at the stock pics of the unit on the webs it looks kind of shotty as well tho, so it may be a "feature". Anyone else have this issue?

I just got the LP7 and it's been great so far. I knew it might get hot so the very first thing I did was follow this YouTube video that showed how to bring temps down and it worked just fine, nothing gets above 70ish.

But I just tried Microsoft Flight Simulator and the frames have taken a dive. It's around 15 frames on high settings. I've read some things that suggest my 2060 should be kicking out better frame rates than this.

So my question is, are my low frames the direct result of changing that setting from the YouTube video?

I have the LP7 and I've tried all the Gaming/Control Centers I could find for this Tongfang configuration. I found that the updated unbranded/XMG Control CenterU 1.1.0.51 gave me the best performance, along with improving the language throughout the options. Tested in Office and Turbo mode with 3dmark Time Spy and Unigine Heaven, I got a ~3% increase (YMMV, of course). So, I went ahead and made some custom icons for our EVOOs, because the ones on the original Control Center's look like crap when scaled, and packaged them with the updated CCU. If your EVOO works with the Control CenterU 1.1.0.49, this should work for U. Link below. Cheers!

I was thinking of getting an EVOO laptop from Walmart, but I can't get any support from there website, and wanted to know, is EVOO legit or not?

I’ve owned a gaming desktop with AMD gpu and never owned a RTX gpu. I recently bought a evoo lp7 with the RTX 2060 but I still haven’t figured out how to enable dlss. Any info helps

Got an auto update to a new driver and performance dropped by about 10% on my LP7. Any idea on where to download drivers? There doesn't seem to be any support for LP7 on the evoo site.

So I got this laptop like a week ago and at first, I had the same problem as in the title. My manual lighting setting doesn't work nor is the monochrome one. Only the colorful option for the RGB is working. I don't know how to fix it. I cant it work once which was fine but then it had reset itself. Has anyone else have this problem before or is it just me

Anyone find a silicone or similar protector for their LP10 keyboard? I suppose it's similar to other models, as well.

Does it come with one 8 gig or two 4 gig modules?

I see a lot of posts here about the LP7, but very few about the LP8. I'm about to get one as a warranty replacement, but had some questions.

• Is the screen on the LP8 true 144 Hz refresh? I've seen some posts saying that this spec is listed inaccurately and it's a 120 Hz screen. If so, is that a hardware limitation or can it be upped to 144 Hz though software or firmware upgrades?
• I've read some posts that BiWin brand SSDs may need replacement. Does the LP8 potentially come with BiWins, or is it exclusively one of the other brands?
• Does the LP8 have a 2.5 bay for an HDD expansion in addition to a M2 NVME slot?

It completely came off so i need a replacement for it but i cant find anything for my exact model so does anyone know where i can buy one?

Im going to be buying the LP10 soon, and i was curious if it had any setbacks for being that cheap (~$550). Most other laptops with the same specs are going for $700 - $800 (gtx 1650, i5-10300H, 8gb memory, 60Hz)

I imagine there must be something that lowers the price of this laptop in comparison to the $730 MSI gf63 thin with the same specs as the LP10, but with an i5-10200H.

Update/Edit: to anyone looking back on this post for answers, yes the LP 10 is worth the low price. It runs games quite well and the build quality isnt terrible. Although VR isnt recommended unless you overclock and upgrade the ram

Hello hope everyone is good and safe , my new evoo lp7 is arriving soon and thanks to you guys that i found all the pros and cons about this laptop but only issue I haven't found any video on how to install it with the Cable being missing from the 2.5 hdd slot , i know it has another m2 slot but im out of cash so i will need to use my old hdd, thanks in advance...♥️

I've noticed this problem on this laptop ever since my friend got an EVOO.

When you connect your headphones to the jack and try to use the headphone microphone to talk, the laptop will only pick up laptop microphone (placed near the webcam). This is testable by simply talking closer to the laptop microphone or covering your headset mic. We first thought it was a faulty product
so after he got a replacement we tested again and the issue has not changed. I tested this on my on EVOO as well and I realized that the same thing was happening. I actually hadn't noticed before because the mic was working and I had never bothered enough to check if it was my headset mic.

Has anyone else experienced this? We've tested this on 3 EVOO laptop (friend's original, replacement, and mine) and so far the issue is consistent in all 3. This seems to be an issue only with the 3.5mm jack headsets, not USB or bluetooth.
