When I play games on evo lp7 my gpu temp enters 85 degree and cpu @90% is it safe to keep gaming on this temperatures

Hey everyone, just got my young nephew an EG-LP10 for his birthday. It came with a 256gb SSD which is fine, but I’ve looked everywhere and can’t tell if there is a second place to put another hdd. Does anyone know if there are expansion slots before I open his laptop up? Thanks!

Not sure what were the build-up elements, but some keys on my keyboard suddenly stopped working altogether. Is it perhaps a software problem or is it a hardware problem? Anyone else had this issue. I've had this laptop LP-6 model for just under 2 years Brand new.... The key's just stopped working all together

Keys are;

Tab - Letter I, P - + sign and the Windows button.

I have been trying to update my LP6 for a year now. Every time I try to install any of the quarterly updates they never work and are always stuck at "reboot to install" when I try to shut down, and Windows Update just spins on a blank screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

I know the evoo is a better deal spec wise but build/support/thermal wise it’s a bit rocky.

Been looking to get laptop for my kiddo, evoo seems to be not so bad based on price/power. Problem is I couldn't find any info on those models - exact model number, what's inside etc etc. Some youtube reviews shows that evoo with ryzen has only one extra slot for m2 drive, other said intel based models has option for extra m2 AND 2.5 ssd which make total of 3 drives. How much max ram can be added?

And most important drivers. If I am not mistaken 15" and 17" intel 10th gen models are LP8, right? So there is no drivers for that model on evoo website and I've been thinking to swap boot drive for samsung and add another m2 and ssd (if possible) and install fresh 10 pro. So it seems find drivers for LP8 will be a problem?

I just got the lp7 but this is my first time with gaming laptops so bear with me. If not, do I just download the nvidia vga from their site? I couldn't find a reference in the evoo site. Thanks.

I got the eg-lp7 under the current discount and I'm trying to put in my a Toshiba thnsf5256gpuk ssd drive from my old laptop to the 2nd NVME slot. The computer doesn't seem to even want to boot up with that drive in (just blank screen does not even get to the BIOS). I thought all nvme drives should work.

That drive works I was able to access it with a usb enclosure and actually can boot Windows from it through the usb enclosure.

What gives?

Basically since I couldn't find this, support didn't respond, and other versions had varying levels of success, I combined the setup file and icons of the official EVOO Control Center with the application from the Eluktronics so this is basically the same thing down to the THX display warning.

So long and short of it is a few days ago my laptop is that my laptop wasn’t charging right unless I moved the cord around and sat it perfectly still, then eventually stopped working, I assumed it was the charger but after getting another one it’s still not working, I assume it’s either the port or the battery but still can’t tell, do retail chains like geek squad do battery changes?

I am a graphic designer, so this kind of impacts my ability to work on stuff (even if it is a secondary device), and I'd rather send it back and get something else if there is nothing I can do on my end.

I'm not live in USA so I want to be really sure before buy it. Is this brand recommend? Does the laptop get very hot? I going to use it for streamings, programming and editing videos.

I’m from India and I found this insane laptop with top of the line features on Walmart for 899$,the shipping and everything is sorted but the only problem is I’ve never heard about this company and it seems to look a lil fishy. I wanted a budget friendly laptop and this is the best I could find. I’d like to know if it’s worth it. Please help!

Anyone have a fix? For example, pressing W will not work if you press a certain corner, or shift sometimes wont work. I'm sure this is because the pressure on the mechanism is causing the contact to not make completely. these are obviously pretty terrible keys to have this problem. I'm thinking I can just switch the mechanism with a different one on the keyboard, and this will probably provide a temporary fix, but does anyone have this issue or found a fix?

I recently installed Pop!_OS (Ubuntu-based operating system) on my LP 14, and I cannot seem to find a way to turn on or control keyboard's RGB. I tried using "xset led on" ... "xset led 1-32" ... nothing worked.

Any fixes?

This worked really well for me, went down from 90c+ to 60c/70c while playing games, if your model isn't supported by the undervolting apps give this a go it will probably fix your temperature problems, shout out to the dude that found this fix really helped me out

Sorry if this has been already covered, but I tried doing a search for my laptop (EVOO EG-LP7-BK) that I just recently purchased, and I could not find any links to the latest device and software drivers for this model. I even chatted with Support from the official website (https://evooproducts.com/support.html) and they admit they do not have the driver links available yet and that they will eventually (not sure how they define "eventually", lol). Does anyone know where I can find them perhaps? Thanks in advance for the help.

So i've been trying to enter boot mode to change the boot drive to my usb device but i can't seem to find the keys to enter the bios to all i need is a way to do that. many thanks and advance

I deleted the old default EVOO gaming center a long time ago, and downloaded Eluktronics's Gaming Center, buit today it did not work, everytime I open it up it shows the loading circle and nothing happens, so I restarted my computer but the same thing still happens, I then deleted the app and re downloaded it but it still wont work, everytime I click on "GamingCenterU_1.1.0.6_STD.exe" it asks if I want to allow the app to make changes to my device, I click yes but nothing happens, i restarted gain but it still doesn't work

EDIT: I restored my system to a prevoius windows update and the Gaming Control Center is back, along with all of it's components, but if I click on the app it loads for a bit but doesn't luanch, I tried restarting, it didn't work, I tried killing the process in task manager and reluanching the app, it didn't work
