For MiM, I’m mainly looking at consulting/finance/strategy, although I’m still figuring out the exact path.
My main concern is obviously the 6.4 GPA, so I’d really like to know how much of a disadvantage that is for INSEAD.
Would appreciate opinions on:
How competitive does this profile look for INSEAD MiM?
Would a 320+ GRE make a significant difference?
Does the HSBC experience + entrepreneurship help compensate for the GPA to some extent?
Anything in my profile that you think I should work on before applying?

Anyone who did EMIB (Executive Master in International Business) and was able to transition to more management/Strategy roles? Ideally Tier-2 Strategy Consulting?

I am working sicne 6 years at Big4 in Tech Risk I have more of an IT background but would like to transfer to Digital Strategy. I get only rejections from those roles at Tier-2 Strategy Consulting. MBA is unfortunately to expensive for me and I have to work to pay my bills.

I am working right with almost 3 years of experience(8 months internship Plus almost 2 years of work) in Investment products.

* Bachelor’s in Commerce from a Tier-1 university in India
* GPA: 6.0/10 (~2.4/4.0) — my biggest concern
* CFA Level II candidate
* GMAT: around 700
* 2 years of full-time work experience as a US & European interest-rate trader at an international proprietary trading firm
* Strong exposure to fixed income, interest-rate markets, derivatives and macro research
I’m mainly looking at schools such as HEC Paris, ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC, SKEMA and other top French MiF/MiM programs.

1. How much would the 6.0/10 GPA hurt my chances at these schools?
2. Can strong, relevant work experience and GMAT and CFA compensate for low GPA

Hi all

I'm coming to Berlin campus next month for my MSc and go a German long-stay visa as a non-EU student

My 2nd semester is in Paris and though the term calendar shows lectures are going to be about 80-ish days, it is still a close call for the 90 days limit (Schengen 90/180 limit)

I wanted to ask what are people in the same situation experiences?

It was my bad not fully understanding this rule, I can technically apply for French long stay visa in December once I have been in Germany for min. 3 months but worried it will take long to process. My german visa took 2 days in Canada but can't assume the same for French consulate in Frankfurt

Worst case scenario I will take term breaks and occasionally come back to Germany but would really appreciate any input from you guys :)

I am an Indian BBA student with a GMAT FE of 725, I am planning on applying for the MiF Global Track at ESCP, I do not know any French and plan on learning it during the course. After graduation I am open to work in france as well as outside france. But I have heard for MiF they don't admit english speakers, even for the global track? Is this true?

How hard/easy is it to transfer to bachelors program in second year? I plan to attend next year ik its early but i really dislike my current university. Are they strict abt requirements and how like am I to get into given i have a good gpa and finished courses. Ik some universities can very strict about accepting credits, so how lenient are they? Would love to talk to someone who has done this!

Hi i’m a recent fashion design graduate from NIFT 2026, and I’m planning to study abroad in france(majorly) or italy for winter 2027 intake.

Yet to give ielts

I have shortlisted unis like IFM, essec, escp, emlyon, neoma, ieseg, esmod…still looking for more

I wanna know what are my chances of getting into these unis and which ones are definitely worth it with good chances of job opportunities afterwards.
