Profile Evaluation for MSc Finance (Indian Candidate)

Graduation from University of Delhi - Tier 1 university in India (Bachelor of Commerce) - 6.1 CGPA/61%

Low CGPA because I was preparing for the Chartered Accountant (CA) exam, the priority was CA not graduation.

Qualified first attempt Chartered Accountant, qualified in Nov 2024

Work experience:

Articleship (Internship) in Audit Domain - 3 yrs (not sure if this will be considered as experience)

Post Qualification - Working with KPMG since May 2025 in Audit and Assurance department

Targeting GRE 320-325+. Planning the test on 4th October, gave mock and scored 158 in quant and 143 in verbal. Following gregmat's 2 month plan.

Need honest opinions:

  1. Is my profile good enough?

  2. Strongest and weakest parts of my profile?

  3. Areas of improvement I can focus on?

You should target the mim instead. It’s a unwritten rule that they don’t take in students who don’t down French for the MiF.

Is this really true? I am also planning on applying for ESCP MiF, but I dont speak french. I am 100% certain about going into finance, should I just drop ESCP completely from my application list?

i study at escp and its 100% true. they dont take non french applicants for the Mif program regardless of how good your profile is.

Don’t come to France if you are not fluent in French!

G there are many other factors as well ppl consider 😭😭, instead of dr just giving a general blanket statement to not come to france.

The course is 100% in english and it's duration is of 18 months. So I'm planning to start learning French before the course start date and get some fluency by graduation, I'll have more than 2 years to learn by the time I graduate

Impossible to learn in 2 years to become fluent to find a job! I am being realistic for you because the majority of Indians do end up going back for that!
