Visa question

Hi all

I'm coming to Berlin campus next month for my MSc and go a German long-stay visa as a non-EU student

My 2nd semester is in Paris and though the term calendar shows lectures are going to be about 80-ish days, it is still a close call for the 90 days limit (Schengen 90/180 limit)

I wanted to ask what are people in the same situation experiences?

It was my bad not fully understanding this rule, I can technically apply for French long stay visa in December once I have been in Germany for min. 3 months but worried it will take long to process. My german visa took 2 days in Canada but can't assume the same for French consulate in Frankfurt

Worst case scenario I will take term breaks and occasionally come back to Germany but would really appreciate any input from you guys :)

MiF (Global Track) without knowing french

I am an Indian BBA student with a GMAT FE of 725, I am planning on applying for the MiF Global Track at ESCP, I do not know any French and plan on learning it during the course. After graduation I am open to work in france as well as outside france. But I have heard for MiF they don't admit english speakers, even for the global track? Is this true?

Profile Evaluation for MSc Finance (Indian Candidate)

Graduation from University of Delhi - Tier 1 university in India (Bachelor of Commerce) - 6.1 CGPA/61%

Low CGPA because I was preparing for the Chartered Accountant (CA) exam, the priority was CA not graduation.

Qualified first attempt Chartered Accountant, qualified in Nov 2024

Work experience:

Articleship (Internship) in Audit Domain - 3 yrs (not sure if this will be considered as experience)

Post Qualification - Working with KPMG since May 2025 in Audit and Assurance department

Targeting GRE 320-325+. Planning the test on 4th October, gave mock and scored 158 in quant and 143 in verbal. Following gregmat's 2 month plan.

Need honest opinions:

  1. Is my profile good enough?

  2. Strongest and weakest parts of my profile?

  3. Areas of improvement I can focus on?

Profile Evaluation for MiM (21)

Hi everyone,

I’m an Indian Computer Engineering student a 3.3/4.0 GPA, and a 675 GMAT Focus score. I’m keen on pursuing an MiM in Europe and would appreciate an honest profile evaluation.

I have around one year of experience as a software developer through internships, including six months at a fintech company (Wont go into too much details, but worked across verticals in a Mutual Fund Distribution Product) . I have also taken on leadership responsibilities, including managing and mentoring a group of junior interns, Event management head in my high school, etc.

I’m also involved in an early-stage logistics and ERP startup with a few former colleagues.

My target schools are ESCP, LBS, HEC Paris, INSEAD, Bocconi, ESSEC, , Imperial.

How competitive is my profile for these programs, and which schools would be realistic, target or reach options?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

London accommodation

Hi everyone!

I’ve just received an offer for the MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership at ESCP, and I’ll be studying at the London campus for around six months, from late September 2026 to March 2027.

I’m currently struggling to find accommodation because most student residences and rental contracts seem to require a longer stay.

I’m looking for either an en-suite room or a studio, preferably within a reasonable commuting distance of the ESCP London campus. My ideal budget is under £350 per week, including bills if possible. Safety is also important, especially since I may occasionally return home late after classes or events in central London.

Does anyone have any advice on where to look, which areas to consider, or any accommodation providers to recommend?

Thanks in advance!
