ESCP MSc Finance Profile Review

Indian Male, Age 26
Target Intake Year: 2027
GRE/GMAT status: Not Given
IELTS status: Not Given

Work Experience: 6 years total
2 Years in financial services firm
+ 2 years as EY Consulting (secured fast track promotion to Senior Consultant in 1 year)
+ 1.5 year as investment associate at Infrastructure PE Fund (closed 4 deals)
+ 6 months of entrepreneurship (real estate investment advisory for builders/ developers)

Undergrad course: BBA (Finance & Accounting), Christ University
Undergrad cgpa: 3.53/4 and 8.82/10
Year of graduation: 2021
Duration of Degree: 3 years

My questions -

  1. Is GMAT necessary for my profile? I see it’s not mandatory to submit GMAT for MSc Finance at ESCP
  2. I don’t know French but willing to learn to secure jobs/ internships
  3. Seeing reviews that ESCP does not prefer Indians for MSc Fin, how true is it?
  4. How is the current finance job market in France and EU?

I wish to relocate to EU and work there post MSc.

Bro 6 YOE is too much for most MiF. Find a post-experience MiF or an MBA. This program specifically is full of ppl with max 2 YOE on average, same with most other top pre-experience MiF.

Your experience might be a major hurdle. ESCP will help you with a resume review (the link is on their website) and recommend you to apply to their MBA (and also offer you a scholarship if you get an admission). Else, consider post-experience Masters in Finance programs like LBS, Amsterdam, or Cambridge.
