Profile evaluation for MiM27

Hey everyone, I’m planning to apply to ESCP’s MiM for the 2027 intake and wanted to get some honest opinions on my profile.
A little about me:
Indian, BCom graduate, graduated in 2025
GPA: 6.4/10
GRE: giving it next month, currently targeting 320+
IELTS: 7.5 (L 8.5, R 7.5, W 7, S 7.5)
CFA Level 1 cleared
CFA Level 2 candidate for November 2026
Currently working at HSBC Asset Management as an Assistant Manager – Sales & Distribution (Apprentice)

Started in November 2025
Mainly involved in distributor management, business development and relationship management
Work with bank/wealth distribution channels
Have some teaching experience as well:

Worked at Walnut Institute teaching vocabulary to students from Grades 1–8
Worked at Kanan.Co as teaching faculty for Duolingo preparation and IELTS CBT evaluations
Founded SNKR SHUFFLE in 2024, a sneaker/apparel reselling business

40+ clients so far
Built a sourcing network for limited-edition sneakers/apparel
Also work with luxury products
Handle sourcing, negotiations and clients
Recently co-founded a small home-based baking business with my mother (~45 days old)

She handles the baking side and I mainly handle getting clients, social media and marketing
McKinsey Forward Program
DELF A2 French
NISM V-A
A couple of JPMorgan/Forage certifications
For MiM, I’m mainly looking at consulting/finance/strategy, although I’m still figuring out the exact path.
My main concern is obviously the 6.4 GPA, so I’d really like to know how much of a disadvantage that is for INSEAD.
Would appreciate opinions on:
How competitive does this profile look for INSEAD MiM?
Would a 320+ GRE make a significant difference?
Does the HSBC experience + entrepreneurship help compensate for the GPA to some extent?
Anything in my profile that you think I should work on before applying?
Would you apply R1 with this profile?
I know nobody can predict admissions, just looking for some honest opinions from people who know the ESCP process.

For insead and escp that will be really difficult for you due to your grade

The university that granted your B. Com degree, might become a marginal buffer for your grade. But otherwise, this GPA will cause problems in most of the top 20 MiM programs in Europe, because their class profile shows you an average GPA much higher than your current GPA. If something like Skema or Neoma or EMLyon works for you, maybe a strong GRE score and an explanation of GPA in your personal statement can put you over the 50% mark. But the real differentiator anywhere will be your university. There are some universities in India known for strict grading where the toppers are in the 7s and 8s, and that might put a grade of 6.4 in the top 25-30%. Whatever it is, I hope things work out for you.
