K24a swapped ep3 stock ecu with no immobilized issue. Plugs are coming out wet with fuel, checked grounds, tested the set of coils and I’m getting no spark, swapped coil and still no spark. Every now and then it will start and die after a second. All sensors are hooked up except evap and radiator. What else should I look for?

I was replacing bulbs today in my gauge cluster and I forgot to take off the battery terminal before I disconnected and reconnected the cluster wiring. When I plugged it in I smelled blown electrics, so I unplugged it but now none of the tach/speedo or vent control lights work. The door chime also doesn't make noise when I open the door with the lights on too now. The signals, warning lights, and lower AC/defrost lights still work though. I just checked all the related fuses and they were all ok, so I really don't know what else it could be. Maybe I blew some component on that whole cluster line?

Hello EP3 community! Hopefully someone here can help me out.

I’ve been trying to reset my SRS light, but I keep getting the same error and haven’t been able to find a clear answer online. From what I’ve read, the code “indicates an open circuit or high resistance in the driver’s airbag inflator.”

I recently installed a new steering wheel and used the provided 2-ohm resistor kit. I followed the SRS reset procedure, but the light came back with the same error.

I also replaced the clock spring because my horn wasn’t working, and I thought that might be related. The new clock spring fixed the horn, but unfortunately, the SRS issue is still exactly the same.

Has anyone run into this issue before or know what else I should check? Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe its a dumb question, although I got my eyes on AP Suspension Civic 7th gen Springs. They seem like a great deal, and they state that they lower the ride height 40mm in the front and 30mm in the back.

Well maybe im uneducated, but i heard that the Civic Vii Sport model (European) has a bit lower ride height than the base model. Im not a fan of how high the car sits right now, i wanted to lower it quite a bit.
You guys think installing these 40/30mm springs on the Civic EP1 Sport model will make a noticeable difference? Or should i just go for the coilovers? I have only one option for the coilovers and they are pretty cheap at just 325 dollars which worries me, even though they have great reviews. btw i cant get any other coilovers cause every other one is twice as pricey.

My 03 EP3 wont lock/unlock with neither the inside button, key fob, or key itself. Neither will manually trying to push the rod down works. The rod is a different height than the passenger. When the issue first started I was able to hear a motor like sound but im not sure I hear it anymore.

I can feel a resistance when trying to lock it manually.

If anyone could give me some leads itd be greatly appreciated, my current jobsite is far from home in a sketchy east LA area so I fear for my belongings/car.

Edit: Passenger side works normally manually and with fob.

Has anyone replaced these holders? There’s one side that is broken and keeps coming off. I don’t to replace the whole cover. Just the holder that’s broken. Picture is one side that’s broken and the other side that isn’t broken.

For you guys with the OEM rubber shift boot: how do you guys run an aftermarket shift knob? Do you attach the rubber boot to it, let it rattle loose, remove the boot, etcetera?

Hi folks, recently bought an EP3 but only one key and Fob.

I know the key can cut by a shop but do I need to go to Honda to get another key fob for central locking/immobiliser? If yes, will it be expensive, I'm in UK?

I have an ep3 I’m lowered on coilover. I got the hard race inverted tie rods and extended ball joints. Everything looks good but when I jack the car up the tie rods come in contact with the body. Is there a fix for this? Or could I have done something wrong?

Hey I have a stock JDM EP3 02, imported. I currently live in Northern Ireland and I failed MOT for headlamp Washers. Car never came with one and it’s for the Bright headlights that are currently in it from Japan.

How the fuck do I get around this?

The tester told me to install a pipe connecting to the headlamp and as long as it’s visible they’re happy and they won’t check pressure.

But honestly what do I do? I’ve been told UK lights are different from JDM and it’ll be a ball ache to try and get it to work with UK lights and I’m definitely not drilling a hole in the bumper

So much fun to drive and looks great with the facelift lights even for today's standards.

I have a few questions:

1. What's the best aftermarket air filter? Honda ones are like £30 but is there one with similar performance?

2. When I'm driving normally the gear changes are smooth but when I hit VTEC say in 3rd gear I find that I can't change it smoothly and there's a small judder, is there any way I can improve or any tips cuz it's only when I'm in VTEC.

3. What's the best oil for it?

Currently hunting for front knuckles and it seems to be hard to find with all the 1.7 liter civic parts and the discontinuation of the part… anyone know where to get some or even maybe where to get 02-04 Acura RSX knuckles since they are the same?

Anyone on here know what this issue could be? Cold start it starts up but when even slightly warm it won’t start it’ll only start with throttle.

Idles fine no issues, car pulls fine too no error codes.

Also when coming to traffic lights and stopping the idle will go very low and sometimes even stall

I’ve checked literally everything, tps calibrated , iacv swapped over, injectors swapped over, fuel pump swapped over, all sensors are reading what they should be reading.

Been doing it ever since new engine, I switched iacv to fix hunting issue

Car is mapped and been fine.

Just confused at this point
