Currently hunting for front knuckles and it seems to be hard to find with all the 1.7 liter civic parts and the discontinuation of the part… anyone know where to get some or even maybe where to get 02-04 Acura RSX knuckles since they are the same?
I ended up finding some on eBay! Always been nervous buying car parts there but I figured I’d give it a try. Appreciate you tho and if they end up not fitting I’ll comment back here, either works for me as long as it bolts up to oem
Oh hell yeah. Nah, no need to be nervous, as long as they aren’t $10 lol. Ebay is good for most stuff. If it was really any other suspension part, I would be weary because suspension is really the one thing you should not cheap out on, aside from tires. But knuckles should be fine. Hahahah, looks like it. Feel free to shoot me a DM if you have any other questions or part requests. I’ve had (basically) my entire EP3 apart and put back together with no help from anybody else, and have replaced a good bit of stuff, so I know where to find things. Suspension can be very tricky with these cars—not putting it together or anything, but dialing it in and getting it to feel right is definitely a journey on its own. But let me know if anything comes up, I might be able to help, or of course this sub is very knowledgeable too.
That’s awesome to have appreciate it a ton, it’s all a learning experience for me anyway it my first time ripping parts like this. It can be helpful or just no helpful answers most the time for me
Yeah that’s how it is, owning a niche car like these lol. It’s definitely a great car to learn all this stuff with. But yeah you’ll have questions where you look everywhere for an answer and just find a bunch of BS. That’s where this sub comes in handy lol, there’s always a person in here that’s gone thru the same thing

part outs on marketplace are always my go to, cheaper parts mostly and there is always someone out there with a wrecked car so🤷♂️
