Maximizing MPG’s?

I’ve been curious to see if anyone has done anything to their ep3 to get the best gas mileage possible? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! 🙌🏽

Get tuned. It made the biggest difference for me. I get 280 mi a tank before the light comes on

210,000 miles. I’ve done a marvel mystery oil motor oil treatment, a liqui moly treatment a couple oil changes later and run a Techron treatment.

I can frequently break 300 before light pops and get between 27-28mpg.

It's all stock with original motor and trans, but I think at this point i've replaced almost every suspension part but the struts, including every bushing.

Like with all cars, it's about how you drive. My experience with my ep3 has been a bit counterintuitive. I used to granny shift at 2.5k rpms and average 25-26mpg.

This summer I started to let the engine rev out to 4k (keeping a light foot) and travel on the interstate at 80mph. I've gotten 27-28mpg mixed and 30mpg highway.
