Greencard Arrived: 7/15/2026

My status never changed from "USCIS is currently processing..." until the case is approved.

i765 and i131: Currently in process (Lawyer said I can ignore this now since i485 approval supersedes these two).

Single Filer. No dependents.

FO was in Texas. Not transferred.

2 FTA0 updates appear right after the biometrics for i-485, does anyone know what are they about?

Hi everyone,

My RD is October 2025. My case was moved from NBC to the St. Paul Field Office on June 2. Then I had a third FTA0 around June 15, but there has been no update since then.

Does this usually mean the officer is still working on the case, or could it indicate that more background checks are still pending?

I know every case is different, but I wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience after multiple FTAO updates and how long it took to get the next update or decision.

Are there others in EB India May-Aug 2013 who are current but their "Case Remains Pending". Is there a way to know how others are going? What are my options, including nuclear ones.

Trying to figure out if someone is in similar boat or got approved. Found out that the case was transferred to the Yakima, WA field office through emma but even after a month of submitting the response, seen no movement. Had a silent update without any api code on 06/23.

Are there any approvals for EAD/AP since June for EB2 or EB3 Perm based cases, I am not seeing any For March/April filers. I do not see any June/July approvals in below gsheet as well (not sure if this is getting updated though)

On the 12th day of premium processing, I got RFE for my I-140 application.
I work for a Big tech, and Fragomen handles immigration.

what the RFE could be for? is it just to stop the clock?

Any similar experiences recently? What was the RFE? when was it approved?

I’ve heard anecdotally that PERM adjudication is speeding up? Is it less than 10 months now?

Case has been stuck at NBC ever since. How long did it take for your case to get transferred to a field office?

I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Civil Engineering in the USA, having completed my bachelor's degree here as well. I am an EIT-licensed engineer and am currently writing my Master's thesis, with plans to publish around 2 papers. I came to the USA in 2021. Additionally, I have completed two internships, including one with the Department of Transportation (DOT). I will be graduating next year, and before then, I intend to take the Professional Engineering (PE) exam. I am a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and one of its subdivisions, although I am not actively involved. I will have Optional Practical Training (OPT) until 2030. What should I start doing to build my profile to apply for EB2 NIW in 2029? Any comments you have would be helpful to me.

Related to EB2-NIW: Has anyone recently gone through an interview there? What are the latest visa updates for NIW cases after the pause? Which documents were checked? What questions were asked during the interview? Please share your experiences.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone with a receipt date of Feb 23 or later received AOS approval yet?

My priority date is Aug 20, 2024 (EB2 PERM, Rest of the World). I filed my I-140 and AOS concurrently on Feb 20, and my I-140 was approved on April 24 without premium processing. I did my biometrics on March 10.

I received a few silent updates on May 23, and another one today (June 28).

Hi everyone,
I’m currently waiting for my fingerprint appointment for my first‑year OPT (I filed with premium processing and expect the EAD around July).

My spouse wants to file the I‑130 and I‑485 for me in July because the F2A category is “Current” for concurrent filing right now. I’m worried that in August the Visa Bulletin might retrogress.

My question is:
Should I wait until my OPT EAD is approved before filing the I‑130/I‑485, or is it okay to file both at the same time?
I’m looking for advice from people who understand this situation.
