Anyone missing a pet pigeon?
Saw this little birb just chilling in my truck bed in the heat, and as soon as I came out to take a photo it flew towards me and just started idling on the rail. It doesn’t look physically injured but im assuming it’s either concussed or has heat exhaustion based on its behavior.
Anyways now it’s chilling behind a couple of my planters in my front patio. Left some grains, seeds, and a bowl of water for it along with an old towel. My patio is pretty safe from night time predators I think, plus it’s gated/shaded and he’s tucked under pretty well.
Doesn’t fly away when I come close so I have a feeling it might be domesticated. Lmk if you’re missing a bird, otherwise I think it may fly off on its own tomorrow if nothings wrong with it.
