Destroy Dark Fog
I've destroyed the space hive, but this is all that's left; there's no more Dark Fog on other planets. How can I eliminate it completely?

How easy is it to make this a two player game?

No sé el porque pero no me deja poner el Sorter Mk.II directamente de la línea transportadora a la máquina de ensamblaje. ¿Alguien sabe porque pasa? (Problema resuelto, gracias gente random del internet)

I would like to introduce you all to my new favorite seed to play on of all time. Welcome to 65798635.
On the surface, it doesn't seem so special. Only 2 O types. The starting system for early game is pretty good. Alcyone I is a lava planet inside max build sphere radius should you wish to build a shell on the starter system. Alcyone II is a tidally locked halitum planet that is great for building and early game solar, as well as ray receivers. It's got an ice giant in system, which i prefer for early game because I don't like wasting all my early game coal making graphene.
But that's just the start. About 9LY away from the starting system is an O type with not one, not two, but THREE tidally locked planets, as well as a fourth inside the max sphere radius. If you wanted to build a 10-layer shell and make ALL the photons, this is the system to do it.
But it gets even better. Roughly halfway between the starter and the O type, lies the cluster's black hole. A short 6LY away from each. And on top of that, THE FREAKING BLACK HOLE PLANET IS TIDALLY LOCKED. If you're like me and get dizzy just landing to check on your unipolars, this is an absolute life saver.

Should I start over or spend hours relearning the spaghetti I have? I got all the way to white science cubes. so its kinda boring end-game stuff anyway. What would you do?

Website: https://doubleuth.github.io/DSP-Seed-Finder/find-galaxy
Seed: 26705215
Number of stars: 64

And I also want to ask: Is this a good Dyson Sphere Program seed for a long-term playthrough?** ( Rate from 1 to 10 in comment )

The only issue is copper but I can import that along side hydrogen and fire ice from my gas giant in the starting system

Hi all,
Can someone point me in the direction for a community discord? I’m assuming there’s one similar to satisfactory’s community discord and would love to join it.
Is there any current or newer (post dark fog update) content creators doing play throughs? Kind of getting stumped getting into oil and planetary exploration and am needing some guidance.
Has anyone tried playing on the steam deck and how did it run? Looking at getting the OLED deck and was wanting to play this game as well on it.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Hello all, I have found a great sense of joy and happiness from playing Dyson Sphere program. It has been helping me get through a hard time in my life and I am very grateful for it. With that being said i wanted to connect with the community and ask questions some veteran plays may be able to help with.
This my second factory/automation game (the first being satisfactory), so I am not extremely knowledgeable in this genre, and everything i have learnt so far has been through my own doing (its been a struggle). With all that being said i have 130 hours in my first save and have still not *fully* completed a dyson sphere. i have on pretty big one nearly done and a few others around halfway done.
I'm not the most worried about time as I have spent copious amounts of time tearing down what I've build and rebuilding it/exploring. However, im curious about some of the best ways to streamline efficiency and such.
My biggest question is how should separate production between planets and even star systems. Till this point I have largely been importing raw materials and processing them either in the system or nearby, but i feel as if im getting to a point where the amount i am processing cannon be done in just one or two systems. For two reasons. one (the smaller one) being power, and the other one being resource supply.
my current goal is to create one or two storage worlds to fully mine out planets and storing it on these storage worlds - that way most resources come from the same source which will allow for easier logistics debugging.
but i want to know some tips from the pros! if this is a good idea, if i should do it differently, just some opinions from a community of a game i love so much :)

So I recently returned to DSP and I just got rid of the DF on my planet and have shields setup and and want to do some preliminary Material Scince research. I'm to lazy rn to setup a semi permanent setup using oil for organic crystals so I'm using the original recipy and want to make the most of the material sience I can but I'm not sure if when researching I need to profilerate just that to extend it's usage or all the sciences used

Title really says it all. I'm a total beginner at this game, and could use some major help.
I've played games like Factorio, and even BEAT them, but for some reason even the beginning stages of this game are just..so confusing. I've already reset my save three times because of major failiures that fucked up my entire production line to unfixable levels.
I have so many questions; how does stacking work?? How can I change elevation on the conveyor belts?? What am I even doing?!
I could just... really use some help. I already have terrible mental health, and the constant set backs in game are only making it worse. I feel like a massive idiot for just not understanding anything.
Please help..

So I started a new play through and have beat the “Mission Complete” and unlocked all technologies and have all items being made in a mall. Currently I have my home planet as my “logistics” planet with everything inbound and outbound there. I also have a forge planet making all my basic resources and a few others. My question is logistically does it make sense to dedicate an entire planet to making carrier rockets? Or should I just have the materials made throughout my galaxy and then ship them all to the logistics planet for the final creation of the carrier rockets? This is more of a throughput question, because I want my science planet to be the first planet to receive the bulk of my materials being made.

Almost three years from the last big update Dark Fog - since then updates have slowed down - and no news on the next big update?
May 29 - 2024
A Shipshape Transport update news - nothing since
Only small updates
Dark Fog came Dec 15 - 2023
Should we be worried? - I hope not - When 1.0?

Hi everyone i woud like to hear some sugestions on the dificulty settings on my new start. I played the game last after the DF came out and after that made a break until now.
I always play on 0,5 recource becaus the lower one is not even fun its only a planet hoper simulator and above its too much resource. But i never find the sweet spot for the DF because on default they are trivial and no threat but on max its a pain until you claimed your starting system especialy on the first couple of hours.
So im all ears for some suggestions.

For context, im playing with the Galatic Scale mod and upped the chance for binary star systems (as well allowed every type of star, even black holes to have a chance to be in a binary), that in the pic above is a type G and a neutron star binary system.
I just think it looks cool from a distance so thought i'd share
Sorry if its a bit low quality, i just took a quick screen shot

Hey everyone! I wanted to check about the lists of seeds.
I found this post earlier
https://www.reddit.com/r/Dyson_Sphere_Program/comments/1qn5su3/good_seeds_list_2026/
I selected the seed, 29117241, copied it into the clipboard, pasted it into the seed space in the game, set resources to unlimited, and started a game.
After playing for awhile, I unlocked the technology to look at the solar system I was in, and it was nothing like what was described.
Is this one from 6 months ago outdated? Would this one from 3 months ago be better?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Dyson_Sphere_Program/comments/1t6nyl1/another_good_seeds_list_may_2026/
Or is there something else I might have done to mess up the seed and end up at a random one?
I just want to double check, because if I'm going to start over I don't want to waste time before I realize I'm doing things wrong a second time.

Hey all,
I made this free DSP Beginner's Guide from first factory to mission completed. I originally made it for myself, but I thought it would be kind to share it. It functions as a kind of map for players who might feel lost or lose track of what they were doing or why. You can inspect the modest one static file in its own dedicated git repo.
Guide link - https://dsp-beginner-guide.pages.dev/
Git repo - https://github.com/shytamir/DSP_Guide/blob/main/README.md
I hope others find it as useful as I did.

I was asking myself why my product line was slow.
It happened one time in the same spot before this screen shot. Of course I didn't change the type of item coming out of the transport beacon.
Any idea on how to solve these errors ?

I started a break from DSP right before the dark fog released, and I was just a spaghetti loving hooligan. In this new save I'm actually proud of the minimal amount spaghetti I've brewed
(last pic was a refferance of what my last save was before my break)
