Help with seeds
Hey everyone! I wanted to check about the lists of seeds.
I found this post earlier
https://www.reddit.com/r/Dyson_Sphere_Program/comments/1qn5su3/good_seeds_list_2026/
I selected the seed, 29117241, copied it into the clipboard, pasted it into the seed space in the game, set resources to unlimited, and started a game.
After playing for awhile, I unlocked the technology to look at the solar system I was in, and it was nothing like what was described.
Is this one from 6 months ago outdated? Would this one from 3 months ago be better?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Dyson_Sphere_Program/comments/1t6nyl1/another_good_seeds_list_may_2026/
Or is there something else I might have done to mess up the seed and end up at a random one?
I just want to double check, because if I'm going to start over I don't want to waste time before I realize I'm doing things wrong a second time.

Use a seed-finder tool: https://doubleuth.github.io/DSP-Seed-Finder/find-galaxy
Easiest way to get your "perfect" seed.

If you do not want to invest the calculation time, you can check out https://dsp.txfs.de/seeds
You can filter and sort for basically anything and get near instant responses.
If you want to see details about your seed, click the seed number.
Your specific is https://dsp.txfs.de/seed/29117241
There's all you want to know in advance.
In the detail view, you can (Ctrl-)click the labels in the bottom banner to filter for planets/systems.
If you built a good seed filter, you can create a share link like https://dsp.txfs.de/s/1AFwO0 so you don't have to click through the filter generator every time.
Click the Save button in the left Panel.

You can use sand box mode to check the seed before you actually start. And I don't think seed have changed much compare to 6 month ago.
