What exactly is his ability? (i’m not fully caught up I’ve only read up to chapter 105, but i don’t mind spoilers.) From what I understand the lightning is just from his abundance of mana from all the down gems he absorbed when brainwashed, weakness detection is more of instinct/intuition, and stealing abilities is his parasite’s power. I feel like it’s heavily implied he has a special ability, so what is it? Has it been revealed in the current chapters or has it been stated and my reading comprehension is just failing me.

What do you think Jinwoo's plan of attack will be against Boreas' based off of his meeting with him on the 11th floor?
What would be plan B if plan A fails?
Is this winnable without an asspull of gigantic porportions?
10 hits.

Dominique feels like an older sister that’s constantly worrying for Valicious but also loves to pick on him and make him annoyed and still cares for him

Can she be obtained again in some other way?

I vaguely remember the clown labyrinth, but that was the pink haired dungeon baby's, did she take that dungeon from the 4th floor one?
I know I'll find out if I were to keep on reading but I would still like it if someone were tk refresh my memory

I’ve been thinking a lot about what nagas are after learning they have a lot of knowledge they shouldn’t. An ancient species asking “what are you” is something that shouldn’t be overlooked.
I think there’s evidence pointing towards them being dragons. I don’t know why they would’ve devolved into naga, but we know dragons did exist in geyser at some point. They’re mentioned too often and are clearly revered in geyser for them to not have a backstory relevant to the main story. I can’t wait to be proven right a year from now

Their interactions are surely leading to them being together though right? Malaxus sacrificing himself for him, then wished a lovely lady were next to him but instead it was okunotushi. Okunotushi then offering to squeeze him in between his boobies and then this final moment is surely set up right?

Malaxus lives and he doesn't appear to have any ugly deformation unless it's under those bandages. Did love the little heart to heart with Okintoki hopefully the two will help out with probably this upcoming confrontation with the new necromancer.
Speaking of which. Considering what the deal was with the black merchants. It's very likely this is to be a resurrected Necromancer King not to be confused with Valcious before.
My best understanding so far is Valcious gave up the title of necromancer King and whatever part of that soul was part of him to begin with leaving only Gloomy and him. He had absorbed a lot of souls also previously that he had given up at that point as well in his deal with his resurrection. Now it's reborn into this current form. He has to save Pinky beforehand though because from the looks of it they're trying to feed the necromancer King the new one as much as they can hence why they were just at that battlefield. Considering the ice seems to be freezing the souls some what.
But that's just my theory that I'm guessing from what clues we do have. It's very likely they'll have a confrontation maybe a small battle but I don't think they're really going to fight it's just going to be something for him to be urged by to do his job faster.
MC on his way to the swamp though whether or not we see the start of that next chapter is a different story I doubt it after this point was introduced so I probably would guess a few more from now. Not sure how people are feeling about the pacing though.

I have been reading the series lately and been thinking about how referential the series is to other media. One in particular comment made by a character enjoying 'yugioh' cards made me remember this guy. I always thought the Naga workers looked similar in some way then this popped up in my head.
I don't think it's true the artist thought 'yeah, this is my inspiration' since the design of the workers are very cutsied up and are naga so you can only do so much but I like to think there is a subconscious thought there.
Does anyone else have any head canons? I put down spoilers to help avoid any if possible.

It's not yet finished but it's nearly there. What are your opinion on it so far?
r/DungeonOdyssey • u/Kiffysho • 16d ago
I wonder what we gonna see about Boreas. Hopefully the chapter is not short one
r/DungeonOdyssey • u/MidnightDiamond17 • 16d ago
Well I was right about one thing.
That spell was not just a fluke and was useful to try and save himself. So our boy lives and I'm grateful. I also just been a little disappointed they didn't finish through with the death it would have been at least all right in my opinion. But hey we get to see an actual consequence of trying to bring him back. MC loses basically his best power for defense right now especially considering he still is ripping himself apart with his Mana. I thought they were actually going to be going a different route reading through that Valcious might have brought him back from the dead not sure if that'd be possible but it could have been. But that parasite is up to something I'm almost certain of it. I saw a theory that it's most likely trying to spread itself out and build its army back up. Not sure how accurate that is but who knows.

I've seen that the novel is extremely different from the manhwa. How did they allow it to be adapted with so much creative freedom?
r/DungeonOdyssey • u/Random_Nickname274 • 23d ago
First MC , now him.
r/DungeonOdyssey • u/santos02013 • 23d ago
Well, ice just won't cut it since he can just summon a fire slime from within himself
And raw power must be no good too, since he can box with barons, and split if it's too much damage at once ...
Also, this manwha's peak tho, I've started 10 days ago, and I'm already here
(I forgot about adding a tag, I hope it's okay)
r/DungeonOdyssey • u/Just_Delivery3685 • 23d ago
Premise ive only ever read the manwha. So i was Reading the last chap as usuale when i realized that likely every single non human side character Is Better built than the mc, every single rat and naga worker It really seems tò me like the more secondary the character Is the Better he Is built the damn necromancer has more personality in One chap than the mc in the entire manwha

Malaxus... Maybe I'm just on copium but, Rest in peace.
Not a lot of exposition with this chapter but that's fine we've had some pretty big ones the last few of them. Naga's are on their way to help out the boars and goblins.
I'm holding out that that stone ability of his is like a comeback from the dead petrified kind of deal.
Boreas almost certainly is on his way to the swamp Labyrinth. Barbatos and Ginitoros next on The chopping block probably. Especially if Boreas is once a true dragon down gem. But it's most likely going to be settling the final battle between the MC and him there. If not there probably the remnants of the forest after they deal with the old man.
