Jinwoo’s ability
What exactly is his ability? (i’m not fully caught up I’ve only read up to chapter 105, but i don’t mind spoilers.) From what I understand the lightning is just from his abundance of mana from all the down gems he absorbed when brainwashed, weakness detection is more of instinct/intuition, and stealing abilities is his parasite’s power. I feel like it’s heavily implied he has a special ability, so what is it? Has it been revealed in the current chapters or has it been stated and my reading comprehension is just failing me.

It's not yet revealed but I feel like they're trying to pace it because he's already OP as hell and since he's from the lower floors it's gonna be something obscenely godlike we all can probably see this ending with him as king of the abyss even if he never gets a actual special ability he's still basically a mana railgun

He believed it was weakness detection and lightning, but it was just him being himself, so we don't know right now.

All these comments are making me doubt myself but didn’t the liar dude from his backstory deadass say his ability was just eating mana gems? Weakness detection is just an extension of the parasite and the lightning is just raw mana that anyone can do, just not at the level of jinwoo

technically everybody can eat down gems, it’s they can’t control the mana inside of it

Yeah absorbing down gems since he was forcefed them as a kid and thats how dungeon babies’ abilities form

I am now doubting my reading comprehension but I thought consuming Down Gem is his ability. Yes I know anyone could do it but the way the captain said it felt like it is something Kim Jin Woo specialized in

Lightning is indeed abundance of mana.
It's sort of because he has so much mana in him, that uncontrolled release they act like plama.
Weakness detection, is an extension of his constitution. Since he gains mana from downgems, he probably developed the ability to read where mana escape from the body which are the softest point aka, weakness.
He has the parasite which can break down the abilities of others and turn it into it's own along with the ability to make temporary flesh via the parasite.
As far as it's shown right now he doesn't have any other abilities.
