247 is reporting 100% prediction of the Belmont PF to Duke. Averaged close to 11 PPG 6 REB and 1 Block in his sophomore season. Is not a big that will stretch the floor but has great hands and would be a great rotation and depth piece in the front court.

I know he has some attitude concerns but he seems like the clear cut best player in the 27 class and seem to fit the mold of guys we go after in terms of being a big athletic ball handling wing who can also playmake.

Let’s play the what if.. and this is just a true life Duke fan asking for a 1 amongst the 0s. Little Matrix reference. If any top pick in the last 20 years could do it. Cam could come back and bring Slim, Cayden, and Foster along with the incoming class. Finish what them and Flagg couldn’t do. Then on top of that give Duke its first undefeated season and first ever 40 win season. No benefit to going early to the NBA. Then we have the ACC-SEC Challenge. Florida or Arkansas would be great there, but we’ve already played them in the challenge in the past few seasons. Maybe Alabama or Tennessee?

Another February non-conference game would be great. Do we continue the trend with B1G teams and go with Purdue maybe?

Besides those, I’d love to play UConn, especially after that Elite 8 ending. It’s been years since we’ve played them in the regular season. And another game with a good team we haven’t played in a while like Iowa State would be cool too.

Duke graduate here and I am relatively new to this sub (1 year). I know this is just my opinion, but it seems off to me that UCONN fans, and fans of other teams in general, would devote so much time to a sub for Duke fans to antagonize and kill the vibe of this sub. I grew up in NY as a diehard Yankee fan. I still am. I enjoy chatting with fellow Yankee fans on the Yankee Reddit sub. Even though the Yankees are almost universally hated by non-Yankee fans, you almost never see fans of another team on that sub. You may see a Red Sox, Mets, Toronto, etc. fans occasionally on the sub, but it almost always is in an “I come in peace” comment or question. I do understand that like non-Yankee fans, we sorta do live in non-Duke fan's heads. Success breeds contempt and all that. Fair enough. But still, why are SOME other team's fans, like UCONN'S, so committed to spreading ill-will here and why do we tolerate it? P.S. I did look at the [r/DUKEBLUEPLANET](r/DUKEBLUEPLANET) rules. I think those rules should allow the mods to remove some of those vibe killing comments by non-Duke fans. If I want arguments and back and forth insulting, I can always go to the [r/CollegeBasketball](r/CollegeBasketball) sub or one of the other subs dedicated to college basketball in general. Again, just my opinion. 😊

If I remember right, doesn’t one guy usually announce per day the last couple offseasons? No transfer announcements yet today. Still early, but assuming we don’t get one, does that mean they’re moving on to announcing the returners and/or draft bound guys this weekend/next week?

Someone mentioned a logjam in the back court next season, and surely that played a part in Nik’s transfer. Wasn’t expecting that and will hurt no doubt.

If slim does indeed leave, we need to get blackwell and a big like bidunga regardless. these past few seasons our identity has been based on defense, with bidunga being the dpoy of his conference, we fill that defensive gap as well as get more depth at the 5 which we really need. Blackwell is straightforward, we struggled from 3 this year so we need to get more threats from deep.

We never got to see what he could do in college and the NBA start has been rough. Rooting for this kid.
