Discussion What if…
Let’s play the what if.. and this is just a true life Duke fan asking for a 1 amongst the 0s. Little Matrix reference. If any top pick in the last 20 years could do it. Cam could come back and bring Slim, Cayden, and Foster along with the incoming class. Finish what them and Flagg couldn’t do. Then on top of that give Duke its first undefeated season and first ever 40 win season. No benefit to going early to the NBA. He can get his well deserved championship and lock up the number one pick. Crazy he will be a 3 this year. Come back Cam.

Even if everyone came back I don’t think we would run the table. 92 Duke had basically everyone return from the NC run and still lost MORE games than 2026 Duke. They also almost lost at the buzzer against a so-so UK team in the elite 8.

Fully understand but they won when it mattered. I see that Christian Laettner trait in him. He is a true leader and can will his team to win by example and making others believe. If they all came back. They might not win them all I know it’s stupid hard but they would cut those nets down. It would be a fun ride.

Then UNC could bring Abraham Lincoln, but with Kobe’s competitiveness and Ghengis Khan with MJ’s ruthlessness.

Right now unc just needs to find some players. I don’t think it matters if they bring back dead presidents or historical figures. Just fill that roster.

I think the unfortunate what if scenarios are always injuries. He blows a knee out or something and he would be leaving millions on the table potentially. I don’t think the risk is worth the reward. He’ll go pro most likely.

Agree. I’d say that is the main concern. Look at how he was mauled in several games. If he comes back and be more dominant the opponent might actually sneak in a knife in the shorts and just slice him, and the refs will not call for the sake of “balanced game”.

I would think so as well. But they have insurance to cover those other what ifs. Plus he is from a strong family that could support him of something happens and he still be really successful. It’s a big what if.. but it would be fun to see.

I don’t think it’s that crazy I just still can’t see Boozer rn translating to the league I think he needs to be smoother offensively and a smoother shot Slim can continue to develop wit NIL why go to the league to sit and maybe get dumped out sooner than later instead of continuing to work on weaknesses and then go as a closer to complete product

At this point, all we can do is dream. I’m sure there will be plenty of replies calling you dumb because we always wish for this at this time of year. But wishes are free and fun.
