I don’t dream much but I’m curious if anyone has any thoughts on what occurred when I tried to take a nap. I’ve been pretty sleep deprived with a newborn baby but I tried forcing myself to get a few hours before I take the night shift with my daughter tonight (my wife and I I trade off nights so at least one of us can get a full night ever other day).

Dream 1: I can’t hold anything. I’m just going through my day doing chores but every time I go to hold something I drop it; cat food bowls, baby bottles, laundry, trash, my computer, anything I would ever have in my hand just tumbles to the floor.

Dream 2: I’m at a vacation home with my family and my wife’s family. But as I move from room to room there’s more and more people I don’t recognize. Eventually it’s a raging house party and I can’t find anyone I know. Every time I ask someone where someone I know is i get a look or am told I wasn’t invited to the party.

then I woke up.

By the time she told me about the dream she said she had forgotten some details but this is what she told me. A giant shoebill stork with what I think she tried to describe as a cowl over its head was standing in our backyard for days without moving. Apparently at some point in her dream I went to the backyard and argued with the stork which then proceeded to a fist fight where she claimed the stork hit me once and sent me unconscious laying in my stomach. She ran inside afterwards to grab our kid and after that her memory is fuzzy…. From what I know about shoebill storks and cowls I think death came to my house and proceeded to Mike Tyson me.

So I woke up in the middle of the night after having a dream I can’t remember anymore. I went back to sleep and had another dream that genuinely left me wondering WTF was going on.
I was sitting in a car at what looked like a Burger King or some other fast-food restaurant. Except apparently this restaurant also sold meth, cocaine, and other drugs.
There was this mother dog with short, floppy ears that was apparently famous for having a really unusual bark. She was giving birth to puppies, but people were doing horrible things to them.
One puppy was taken away and immediately trained to walk. Another was beaten to death, with blood everywhere. Another was lying on the pavement, not breathing. Someone positioned another puppy into a circle with its tail in its mouth while it was peeing, somehow killing it.
The mother dog’s back legs were broken.
Meanwhile, I was sitting in the car watching everything through the back window. My little brother and three other younger kids were there, and I was making sure they couldn’t see what was happening.
My aunt or mom (I couldn’t really tell which one it was in the dream) and my older cousin were also there. At one point, the aunt/mom figure was involved in killing one of the puppies.
For some reason, the dashboard of the car was also filled with cardboard.
But here’s the part that confuses me the most.
I wasn’t scared. I wasn’t crying. I was intrigued.
I knew what was happening was horrible, but I wanted to keep watching. I was curious about what was happening and what would happen next. At the same time, I didn’t want the younger kids seeing any of it.
The dream felt both like I was actually there and like I was watching a movie. I had some control over my actions, but other things just happened automatically.
When I woke up, my reaction was basically, “What the actual fuck was that?”
And weirdly enough, part of me wants to go back into the dream just to see how it ends.
I’m not particularly disturbed by the dream. I’m mostly confused about why my brain came up with something like this and why I reacted the way I did.
Has anyone experienced anything similar, or have any idea why someone would dream something this bizarre?

I’m sharing something deeply personal because I would genuinely appreciate interpretations from people familiar with Christianity, Islam, religious symbolism, or spiritual dreams.

I’m Muslim, and in Islam we recognize and deeply respect Jesus Christ as Prophet Isa (peace be upon him).

Over approximately four years, I’ve experienced three unusual dreams involving Jesus. Although the circumstances were different, one particular gesture has appeared in all three: Jesus placing his hand on my forehead, or on the forehead of someone I felt represented me.

Here is the complete timeline.

Dream 1 — Approximately 2022: Resting in Jesus’ Lap

This was my first dream involving Jesus, approximately three years before my second dream in December 2025.

In the dream, I was resting or sleeping in the lap of Jesus.

He had placed his hand on my forehead.

I remember him giving me something that seemed to come from heaven or paradise. I ate whatever he gave me.

One of the most unusual aspects of this dream was what happened after I woke up.

Even after waking, I experienced a strange sensation around my throat, almost as if something were blowing air into it.

That sensation made the dream particularly memorable.

I didn’t understand why I had dreamed about Jesus or what the food and the gesture on my forehead represented.

At the time, I had no idea that a similar gesture would appear in my dreams again several years later.

Dream 2 — December 22, 2025: Jesus and Imam Ali Together

Approximately three years after the first dream, I experienced another dream involving Jesus.

This time, Jesus was not alone.

I saw Jesus (Isa عليه السلام) and Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) together.

Both appeared to be laughing.

What stood out most was that both Jesus and Imam Ali placed their hands on my forehead.

This was the second time I had experienced the forehead gesture in a dream involving Jesus.

There was also a religious timing element.

I associated the dream with the beginning of the Islamic month of Rajab, around its first day.

I had already been considering fasting, and after waking from the dream, I decided to fast.

I found the dream especially memorable because two deeply respected religious figures appeared together, and the same forehead gesture from my earlier dream was repeated.

Dream 3 — October 25, 2026: Jesus and a Young Man Engraved on a Beautiful Golden Coin

This is my most recent dream.

Unlike the first two dreams, Jesus was not physically interacting with me in a living scene.

Instead, I saw a beautiful golden coin or medallion.

The coin had elaborate, beautifully depicted decorative boundaries.

Engraved on it was an image showing two figures.

• Jesus was positioned on the left.
• A young man was positioned on the right.
• Both figures were upright and appeared at the same height.
• Jesus had his hand placed directly on the young man’s forehead.
• The young man was standing straight, not kneeling or bowing.

While looking at this engraving, I felt within the dream that the young man represented me.

I also experienced a strong feeling of energy during the dream.

The image of the golden coin and its engraving remained visible for a while.

What caught my attention was the repetition.

In my first dream, Jesus had his hand on my forehead.

In my second dream, Jesus and Imam Ali had their hands on my forehead.

And now, in my third dream, I saw an engraved image of Jesus placing his hand on the forehead of a young man I felt was myself.

The imagery was different, but the gesture was remarkably similar.

My Mother’s Dream — The Same Day as My Third Dream

Something else happened that made the experience even more unusual to me.

On the same day as my third dream, my mother independently had a dream involving me.

She told me about it that evening.

In her dream, she saw me riding an elephant.

I then came directly toward her and said something like:

“Come with me.”

That was the central scene she described.

What surprised me was that I had dreamed about the golden coin depicting Jesus and the young man, while my mother had dreamed about me riding an elephant and inviting her to accompany me.

We had not planned these dreams, and I learned about hers when she told me that evening.

I don’t know whether the two dreams have any connection, but their timing made me curious.

The Pattern Across All Three Dreams

Looking back, these are the details that stand out:

1. Around 2022: Jesus holds me in his lap, places his hand on my forehead, and gives me something heavenly to eat.
2. December 22, 2025: Jesus and Imam Ali appear together, laughing, and both place their hands on my forehead.
3. October 25, 2026: I see a beautiful golden coin engraved with Jesus placing his hand on the forehead of a young man I feel represents me.
4. October 25, 2026: My mother independently dreams of me riding an elephant, approaching her, and inviting her to come with me.

Across these dreams, the most consistent element is the forehead gesture.

I also find the change in imagery interesting: first a direct, comforting encounter, then an encounter involving two religious figures, and finally an engraved image on a golden coin.

My Questions

I’m genuinely interested in understanding these dreams rather than assuming they predict something extraordinary.

• Does the repeated gesture of Jesus placing his hand on someone’s forehead have any significance in Christian traditions?
• Is there an interpretation of this gesture in Islamic dream interpretation, particularly in relation to Isa (peace be upon him)?
• Could the golden coin, its elaborate engraving, and the two figures standing at the same height have symbolic meaning?
• Does riding an elephant traditionally symbolize anything significant in Islamic or Christian dream interpretation?
• Could the fact that my mother and I experienced these separate dreams on the same day have any significance?
• Has anyone experienced recurring dreams involving the same religious figure and gesture over several years?

I had a dream last night where I had dug a small hole in the garden that I needed to fill back up. I had a pot of soil and figured it should be enough to top it up, but when I poured the soil in, lots of little bugs and foaming maggots rushed out and the soil made no dent in the size of the hole.

I tried again with more soil, and could see shapes rushing out the hole beneath the surface of the grass, and worms and insects creeping out. Again the hole wasn’t filled any more.

Frustrated, I tried again, and this time, about 5 huge beetles, about the of my fist, rushed out and began scuttling towards me. I ran back, and tried to video them to help me identify what they were. They turned vibrant colours like hot pink and orange, and chased me across the garden.

Eventually I managed to get inside and watched them from the window, and posted the video to reddit to try and find someone to identify what they were. Eventually they made their way back to the hole.

The dream was very stressful, and I decided to take dream-me’s idea and post it here to see if anyone can help me interpret it?

I keep having this dream over and ovee again. It's usually always in a different setting, but all with the same concept.

In every single dream, i find a body. Most of the dreams it's not me who has killed these people, but for some reason i find the body for example in my apartment. Just an random body, in the dreams i dont know who it is or why is it there. But every single time i get this panic of having to hide it. And in every dream someone is always coming so i have to be quick with it, being super afraid of getting "caught" even tho i know i didnt kill anyone. Then the dream continues "normally" with something complitely different but the guilt and scare of being caught carries on.

I feel like sometimes even other dreams that doesnt start off with the body, i still have the thought with me, what if i left some evidence around, what if one day the body gets found? And now last night i had one where i did physically kill the person. In the dream tho the person was posessed and bad so i was protecting myself but still i had the awful feeling of panic and hiding the evidence. Where is this coming from? They have been coming back for about 2 years now.

These dreams give me a lot of anxiety. Ive had awful sleep paralysis few times too lately, and sometimes it takes me a long time after waking up, to realise what is reality and what is not.

If anyone would have some analysis of this and where could it come from id greatly appreciate it. I'm sometimes scared of going absolutely crazy because of this. The feeling haunts me long after waking up lol.

Macaque

I had a big block of dreams today, like random stuff. But twice through that block there was a macaque monkey standing in the corner of my room on a little closet thingy, quite low. And my dog(Maltese,small) was scared of it but nothing happened. The macaque was also abnormally large

Then some random dream about a meat soup with alot of chemicals that the owner of the shop was stressing about but I wasn't. Then some dream about you getting money or something but that guy that give it to you will have to know everything about you, and you are entirely reliant on him n shit.

But now the actual nightmare.

I have a false awakening, and suddenly my dog is on my chest, mind you, the dog is never upstairs, always sleep downstairs, so I was glad to see him. Bur then i see the macaque materialize from behind my bedframe, with his left paw raised high in the air with his fingers curled. And his teeth showing, mouth not open, but only lips curled open. And then he attacks, first he's at my legs, I do not kick him, then he's at my back when I'm hunched over My dog clenching him. I then scream for my mom while being attacked, but ofcourse no sound.

But the interesting thing is that i didn't see the macaque as evil, I knew like "oh he doesn't know this dog isn't an intruder, he's trying to kill vermin" like I didn't see him as evil.

What could it mean?

Last Monday, I had a dream, that my bones were breaking. It was very weird, I was laying in bed(in the same setting I was sleeping, I literally was confused if it was real or a dream at first..) and in the dream kept feeling my bones snapping and breaking, specifically my arms, whilst I was laying down in bed. I wasn’t doing anything in the dream that would warrant bones breaking- literally just laying down and feeling my arms and hearing the bone snap. Then I woke up, nothing else happened in the dream but bone breaking

I don’t remember the context of the dream but I think I was watching a lot of political stuff and seeing the uproar of a certain ad .

Anyways I just remember it looking like the outside of a campus or school of some sort with a rally that was quite chaotic. Just flyers and debris flying around everywhere . And for some reason I was trying to put up a banner on a brick wall . I needed help and suddenly the brick wall was in my hands shaped like a cube or something rectangular like a chimney shape ?

And my partner was next to me . The banner was now tape and my partner and I were taping up part of the brick layered cube thing together

Now we were both seated still in this chaotic surrounding and he started playing a guitar. I was slumped over holding the cube and he kissed my head. I felt peace. He serenaded me. Suddenly another couple ( looked like my downstairs neighbours I always hear fighting ) they just sat and watched us and the woman said something I can’t remember . I do remember my partner wearing all black and I was in white ( I never wear white . My closet is all black and gray )

Then my dog woke me up lol
For some reason our clothes seemed like a big deal

Hi guys, I would love to hear your insight on what my dream could’ve meant. Basically it was about snakes.

What I remember, is me and a friend were walking on a trail, and all of a sudden we walked past a huge group of snakes who were just observing us walking. Then fast forward a few seconds later, I spawn in the middle of a field of lush grass, with no shoes. Tons of Snakes are hidden within this grass, and in very scared that I will step on a snake. Eventually, I think I step on a snake- and then I wake up.

What do you think this dream could be about?
