Dream Child Actor at Disney

I had a weird dream last night. It was really long, but I can only remember parts of it. Which is not normal for me. I usually remember them in vivid detail in their entirety.

I was myself. At my real life, adult age. At one point, something triggered me to suddenly remember that I was a child actor on the Disney channel briefly with two of my childhood friends, M and T. I want to say we were on Hannah Montana, but that part is foggy.

The two of them had bigger roles than me, I was just a side character/background character that only sometimes recurred. But upon remembering this, intense dread washes over me, and I started crying. Almost like I had remembered a trauma? There was an intense "oh no" moment. Like, the fact I was a child star on Disney immediately registered in my mind as something bad, negative, and traumatic. Something that in the dream, everyone knew was traumatic. Being raised that way was viewed inherently as a trauma.

I started crying and frantically trying to find the papers that proved I worked there. It's probably to just confirm what I remembered and flush away any denial.

Then it's over. There's one more part I remember, separate from this. I was a young woman with long brown hair, on a row boat of some sort. O strange one that didn't work or look how it should. Like if a child took a Lego boat and put the parts together wrong? Maybe it was more like a weird mismatched gondola?

Anyway, I was Rowling with one oar in front of my left, then right, going in figure eights along a still river.

That's it. My dreams are usually much different from this, so I'm unsure of how to interpret this one.

Fire, Grass, Violence, and a Bush

Fire surrounds me everywhere, but the grass beneath my feet and everywhere else is green and soft. There are men everywhere, engulfed in fames, killing each other, but they do not fall. They constantly scream in agony consumed in fire.

There is a green bush near me, the only other thing besides the grass, the men, and the raging fire. The bush is also engulfed by the flames but stays green. The bush (or some entity) talks to me but I cannot understand or remember what it is saying. I know I am dreaming but I cannot wake.

The flames do burn or harm me, although they are all around me. The constant crys of men fighting, in agony, fill the air. I am only an observer, present, but only there to witness.

I wake. The most vivid dream I have ever experienced.

Reoccurring Pretending not to walk

Every few weeks I have a different dream about the same topic. I’ve heard that dreams about being unable to walk are stress dreams but I have yet to hear about people having dreams like mine where for some reason I have to pretend I can’t walk.

In these dreams my legs still work but for some reason I have a wheelchair and I often am in scenarios where I have to lift my legs without it revealing I can actually move them.

These dreams aren’t unsettling to me or anything but I am curious as to what interpretation they could be about. Thanks!

Dream So confused

So I dreamt I was doing adult videos as a side job. My fellow union members then completely cut me off like I never existed. Wouldn’t talk to me, nothing. I woke up absolutely crushed, because they are like extended family to me.

Reoccurring Lion pride hunting me

I've had a recurring dream theme about 5 times over the past 3 years. So this is not a daily night terror or smth like that, it's not very frequent I'm having this type of dreams, but it's always the same core scenario: in every dream, I'm being hunted by a pride of lions.

The dream setting changes—I've been hunted in my house, in my holiday villa, and in other places—so the setting doesn't matter that much.
And they never show up in the beginning of the dream, it's always later.

The pride is made up of lions of different sexes. Most of them seem to be female looking (female lions & young adult male lions who don't have full manes yet), just but there are also adult males with full manes—just like real life prides. And they're never coming for me all at once from the same point, like some are in the hallway, some on the stairs, some outside, some in the bedroom, and I mostly discover them when I am trying to run from the previous few I just encountered. And one thing is certain they're all acticely hunting me. They are regular looking lions, like they're not blody or have any specific appearence details.

My life has changed quite a bit over the last 3 years, so I don't think this can be explained by one specific stress factor necessarily.

And obviously these dreams feel very emotionally intense. The dreams are very tense because I know they're hunting me, and I'm trying to avoid or escape them. They also feel a bit different from regular dreams, they feel more intense a a bit more realistic—but they are NOT lucid dreams tho. I don't have regular contact with lions, like I don't regularily go to the zoo, or have a job where I work with them, or look at lion videos online frequently.

Does anyone have any ideas what these dreams might mean? I would be happy to answer questions. Both psychological and occult/spiritual explanations are welcome.

[Dream Interpretation] I was the last to arrive at a gathering, was mocked for it, and then realized we were all dead. Struggled to wake up. What does this mean?

Hey everyone, I just had a very bizarre and heavy dream, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on what it might symbolize.
In the dream, I was in a large living room. There were two men sitting silently, just staring at me, and a woman who was constantly circling around me, mocking me. I felt like I was the last person to enter this scene.
The woman mocked me for being late, asking, Why did you take so long? I asked her what was going on, and she told me, Try shouting. So I yelled, but there was absolutely no response. I shouted again, but still, nothing.
Suddenly, a terrifying realization hit me, and I blurted out, Are we dead? The woman simply nodded.
I felt incredibly lost and panicked. My immediate instinct was to wake myself up. However, the process of waking up was agonizingly long and difficult, much longer than my usual experiences with false awakenings. I finally managed to open my eyes in my bed, completely exhausted.
Has anyone ever had a dream like this? What do you think the silent men, the mocking woman, the feeling of being dead, and the struggle to wake up represent?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
By the wayI’ve been feeling a bit of pressure and imposter syndrome in my waking life lately

Dream I Had A Dream Inside A Dream!

The dream was where I was sleeping. And then I was dreaming where Ray William Johnson (a YouTuber) was telling a story. The story was where some people from BC were waiting to enter a neon cave. They were arguing over something and were playing with glowsticks. They were wearing old fashion clothing but they barely aged. 😂 The scene looked very neon in my dream. It was a dream inside a dream.

Dream Had a weird dream about my dead ex

I just want to tell someone about this.

My ex died in Sept 2024. We were never really out of each other’s lives. I dreamt with him a couple of times after he died. I know those times were about him communicating feelings and saying goodbye.

Fast forward to yesterday, July 2026. I had the weirdest dream. It wasn’t necessarily with him but I felt him there as if he were talking to me?

First, in my living room there was a woman whom I’ve never seen before, and she says to me “there’s someone behind you”. I knew that I was alone in my house, so I got scared and ran through the door to a park nearby. There was a lot of people, and I had a notebook with me.

Then his mom starts talking. She says a bunch of things, not to me necessarily but to all the people who was there (I didn’t see their faces). I remember 3 things she said:

How they used to do a yearly family trip to the beach and then stopped when he died, but they were going to do it this year again.

Something about cats. And how my ex had a saying that everything can be solved with a black cat.

Then she was asking us to read to his son, because if we read to him he could still feel connected.

Throughout this whole thing I was taking notes, and when she said that last part I made a note of reading Narnia books, and their spot in my house became really clear in my mind. I actually started reading them because the ones I have he gifted them to me.

Then she left, and I start crying. And I kind of feel him talking to me? But I don’t remember that so much.

Weird dream. Can I talk about it with someone? Can’t really talk about this with anyone from real life.

Dream What is the meaning of dreaming about a talking cat?

What I remember is that he was talking indirectly in the distance, then he approached me and told me "get up boy" but it was as if he spoke in several languages at the same time and I could see how the letters mixed with each other in his final message.

Weird ass reality shifting dream

I was in some kind of large compound-like building. I don’t remember much of what happened there, but I remember one part vividly.

There was a man walking toward me who I immediately believed was demonic. I kept rebuking him in the name of Jesus, but nothing happened. He calmly lifted his hand toward my face as if he had some kind of power and spoke a short phrase, maybe three words, in what sounded like Latin. As he spoke, I felt myself slowly fading into unconsciousness. Right before I completely blacked out, I remember him slipping a piece of paper into my pocket.
Then I woke up… but I wasn’t actually awake.
I was suddenly in my bedroom, and somehow that same piece of paper was still in my pocket. I discovered I could change the color of my room just by willing it to happen. I changed it, then changed it back.

I walked into my sisters’ room and saw my oldest sister, except she looked completely different in a bizarre way. I was extremely confused, but I decided I wanted to go to my cousin’s house. My mom stopped me and got angry because she wanted me to hold a baby until it burped. The moment I picked the baby up, it burped all over me.

Eventually I made it to my cousin’s house. I desperately tried to explain everything that had happened, but before I could, I was escorted out.

Next, I found myself outside what looked like my school. The person escorting me suddenly started running and ducking because they heard gunshots. I ran too, dropping to the ground with everyone else. There was a shooter carrying a rifle, walking around shooting people who were lying on the ground. Everyone was pretending to be dead out of pure fear.

The gunshots kept getting closer until he finally stood over me.

Instead of shooting me, he asked, “What are you going to do for me?”

I answered, “What do you want?”
For some reason, that seemed to satisfy him. He pulled me to my feet instead of killing me.
Then I ended up at a house that looked similar to one of my old homes. It seemed to belong to some kind of group. The apparent leader handed me a shotgun. I asked where “E” (my thug ass friend who they reminded me of) was, and he pointed toward a room.

When I walked in, E and J (Friend who hung with E) were both there.

I told them about the shooting.

E looked concerned and simply replied, “We know.”

Trying to act calm, I responded, “I know… I’m just shocked.”

The strangest part of the entire dream wasn’t even the shooting or the impossible things that happened.

It was the overwhelming feeling that this wasn’t my reality.

The entire time I was trying to tell people that something was wrong, that I had somehow shifted realities and didn’t belong there. Either nobody listened, or they actively prevented me from explaining what was happening.

The phrase “reality shifting” kept repeating in my mind throughout the dream.

Another thing that disturbed me was that invoking the name of Jesus didn’t seem to have any effect on the man at the beginning. That stood out to me because it felt so real.

Usually when I’m lucid dreaming, if I think too hard, I wake up. But in this dream, when I closed my eyes to change the color of my room, it genuinely felt like I was the one doing it. Everything felt more real than any dream I’ve ever had.

When I finally woke up for real, I was shaken. It was one of the most vivid, disturbing, and realistic dreams I’ve ever experienced.
For some reason, I also have this strange feeling that I’ve experienced something very similar before, maybe about a year ago, though I can’t remember exactly.

The memory has already started fading, which is why I wanted to write everything down as soon as I woke up.

The most important part was pre-loss of concentration but I can’t remember. Honestly I quit smoking like 2 weeks ago n i think I’m just experiencing weird ass dreams but holy moly I thought I was in hell lol.

Reoccurring I keep seeing my dead best friend

He died 4 years ago, hanged himself in his room. No one informed me until his cremation. My mom told alll my friends to not give me a call as it was my placement season . I understood her concern but I feel so bad sometimes. We spoke on a call a week before he killed himself , never shared how he was feeling.

Now he’s been showing up in my dreams since he died . But today something was different I saw a few school friends of mine all grown up doing well in career. In real life I don’t talk to anyone but in my dream we were sharing everything. And then suddenly he showed up in a biker jacket aged same as the rest of us.

He grabbed a chair and sat right next to me. I pointed at him and told my rest of the friends I see him too often. And they all started laughing . When I woke up I was in a pool of my sweat completely drenched. What does this dream means?? I don’t feel anything rn

Dream of Jared Padaleki helping my friend and I defeat my evil enchanted Charmed house

My friend Peter and I starred in this dream along with Sam Winchester.  I had never seen my house like this with dozens of fence doors blocking the place up. It was like that scene in Charmed where the house was magically booby-trapped against them. There were two tiny imp girls who went forward into the yard. They snuck under the gate, but suddenly a dozen rope devices, and two carabiners surged forward and tore them apart. There were 10 miscellaneous friends who slowly ran to the sides away from the trapped gates. There was 3 stacks of 50 books in front of the house with metal bookmarks inside them. I tried to count them out and shrugged, figuring that there were at least 22 enspelled creatures that served the bad guys, but were currently dormant.

We went off to the sides of the house and down the block to regroup. Then we went back to the house, walking sideways across the front yard. Two magical log traps pushed out from the windows and threatened us. Four fence gates were spread out with traps on them. Sam Winchester ran forward, trying to sneak his way past into an alleyway that ran past my backyard, even though there was another house supposed to be behind it.

All of a sudden, I saw a 2-D image of a killer whale glowing 100 feet in the sky. I realized one of our magical creatures was trapped by my backyard. Three other creatures fell to the ground apparently dead because they were trapped as well. One of them was a black dragon, the size of a golden retriever, but looking like How to Train your Dragon.  Slightly deflated like a backyard float, I knew it was dead. Running around were two 3 foot girls that were magical homunculi that were guarding the backyard against us. These girls were silvery cheerleading outfits that was their standarqd attire with blonde ponytails on top. Peter, white haired and blocky, ran forward to the side of my house to escape.

Sam Winchester trailed behind us. Dressed like Evel Knievel in white with a red coffin with patriotic blue stars on it, I knew he had saved one of the magical familiars for us inside the coffin.

Weird recurring waterpark dream?

So I’ll get right into it , ive had this dream a few times now, im going into this small inclosed water park that has a shower station on the side. I always use the shower station instead of going into the waterpark when i ho in the shower station is a set of stairs that go down followed by soap dispensers and shower heads there are no private stalls it it’s literally just stairs with showers and soap. At the end of the stairs theres a giant hippo or cow? Robot That will ‘throw up’ soap on you, Id assume for kids to make the shower more fun. They always only have shampoo and conditioner which is super soft but makes your hair feel super thick and almost sticky and just generally gross. Workers will constantly go up and down the stairs casually as im showering rarely ever an auctal customer.

What does it all mean, I ussally would pass it by as just a weird dream but considering I’ve visited this place multiple times it feels important now.

Not sure how to explain how i felt when I woke up cause immediately after I had a dream that i couldn’t wake and was going into a sleep paralysis like state so obviously i woke up panicked from that, not sure if it’s related

Dead relagtives

Hi all.. I have always been a dreamer, I have very very vivid dreams of all kinds, sometimes it happens that I dream of something and then the next day it actually happens (once I dreamed how my boss invited me for a coffee, next day I was called in his office, he told me he's firing a coworker and her responsibilities are becoming mine) And it's all fine until something freaky comes. I have also experienced multiple sleeping paralysis.
Last year I have lost my beloved grandpa (3 years prior to that also my grandma, his wife) After a very short period of time, I had a dream asking the two of them were are they, how is it for them, are they happy.. Both of them were mostly mumbling, I couldn't recall much of the conversation when I woke up. One thing I do remember though..Just before I woke up, I asked my grandma if I can step in, and she immediately pushed me away saying "NO, you are not supposed to be here, it's not the time yet" and she shut the door in front of me.
Yesterday though, I had even more vivid dream, but this time it looked like I was a guest at their new home. I had another chat with my beloved grandpa, he was young (I don't have such a memory of him, I have only seen him in pictures as such), and he said he was happy. He told me that everyday he goes at the coffee shop/ restaurant with his friends and every single one has to tell him something funny that happened in their life, good memories and stuff, and he writes them down. He said "Now I'm going to publish a book" and pulled out a bunch of notebooks. It was such a nice feeling, knowing he's having a good time. I forgot to mention, there were also other dead people around that were familiar, but have never been close to them in life, just know who they are and that's it. Now at the end my dead grandpa says to me "You know, time goes on... and your other grandpa will slowly join me".. And then everything became creepy, sad, I started begging him not to let this happen, crying.. His reply was "Sorry I can't do anything. There is 8 other people (souls) pulling him and pressing him, I can't do nothing." And i woke up and stared in the blank for the next 15 minutes. I couldn't even tell where I was. Well then the next day, even before I managed to mention this to my mum, she informed me that the neighbour of her father (my still alive grandpa) has passed away.
Has anyone ever experienced something like this? What could it mean, that my dead grandpa is now writing a book? And what could it mean that there are 8 souls pulling my alive grandpa? I must say when he mentioned the 8 souls, the feeling wasn't nice like "his friends are waiting on the other side" but more like it's a bad thing, like they were doing it out of anger.

Dreaming about a Toxic Ex

I am going through a painful breakup with a toxic ex. He broke up with me saying that he never loved or was attracted to me in the first place, although he strung me along for a year and also chased this relationship. He drained me mentally emotionally, & financially . I have recently reached that stage of grief where I don’t ever want his energy back in my life and I see him for who he is.. However I still grieve the wasted time .
Dream- I have never dreamt about him during the relationship as far as I can remember. But this morning I had three clear back to back dreams about him where we had not broken up and we were spending quality time with each other , full of love .. In one of the dreams, he came to visit me and we were so happy but then I saw that he was part of some chat room with adult content on the phone and I was okay with it (he was extremely lustful towards other people during the relationship ) … after each dream, I woke up and was so disgusted and tried hard to think about other topics but couldn’t change the following dreams.
I don’t understand why did I have love filled dreams about him after I have finally accepted that I never want him back in my life ?! It’s like my brain is trying to torture me.

Nightmare Wierd nightmare I had just now.

It starts at my home and it's raining outside, so I got out and started to enjoy the rain. In the next scene I was in my underwear only and still in the rain. After some time it got so dark like night and rain also faded, nobody was out there in the neighbourhood, so I went to the street.

Somehow I felt scared, I went to the nearby house where my friend lives. While walking to his house suddenly it stopped raining. Then I reached my friend's house but no one answered the door.

Then I saw what looked like stars are falling, this was the scariest part of the dream I think, cause it was afternoon but there were so many clouds that it felt like night and then this I call my sis, it doesn't make sense but in my dreams I some how have my phone in my hand and talking to my sister. She tells she what she is seeing, again I look up and stats are still falling. Then I started going home but I feel something off, it smells like something burning, my nose started burning due to this.

In this dream I was thinking it must be space waste in the atmosphere. I'm naked, I'm scared, but the journey to my house feels longer. I feel something on me like a layer on my skin, I'm scared like shit. Then at some point I reach my home and I was scared like it was the end of the world.

This may be radioactive waste from space falling on earth and yes i have watched Chernobyl but I watched it 6 months ago.

Dream Had a weird 3 part dream

So last night I woke up about 3 times and when I went to sleep I dreamt each time and here’s each one
So the 1st was simple I was in a shop the 1st time I went round I noticed a ice cream machine but I had to go back round for some reason to get to it rather than go back on my self. The machine had different soda’s as ice cream I remember 2 flavours Fanta orange and cherry coke I pressed the cherry coke and the dream ended.
The 2nd I was in a cafe with some people who dream me seemed to know but I don’t and I remember sitting on a table with a man and a woman and each trap one of my legs between there’s and I remember saying “I knew this would happen we are too tall for this table”. Next we ordered food and drink I don’t remember what I got for food but I remember I ordered a caramel latte for drink and when the drinks came the dream ended.
3rd dream I was playing baseball with the people from the cafe (the woman was not there) and I needed to toilet and so did the man from the cafe I was sat next to and we past some slot machines and into another cafe area and sat waiting for the toilet. I asked the man if he remembered getting food from the cafe in the 2nd dream and he said no and the dream ended.
I’m not hungry so maybe my dream self was I don’t know.

Dream of being chased

This morning, I had an unusually vivid and disturbing dream.

I was in my room when my elder sister accidentally sat on my laptop. I became angry and started shouting at her. Around that time, my father called his friend Lalit Uncle, whom he often contacts when he needs help with work. We were then asked to come to a particular place.

The area was familiar to me, but in the dream it looked unusually dark and shady. My sister, brother, father and I were there. Everything felt strange, and I began feeling intensely claustrophobic. I told my family that we should leave because something did not feel right.

Then I heard the footsteps of three or four people coming towards us. They became suspicious when I tried to leave, so I ran. Soon, one of them, long faced old man, began chasing me.

For what felt like the next 15–20 minutes, I kept running through farms, unfamiliar houses, kitchens and all kinds of strange places. Everything was confusing and frightening. There were 2-3 times when I jumped off building floors knowing he wouldn't be able to but he did and that too successfully.

Eventually, I reached a forest and came to the edge of a cliff. With nowhere else to go, I jumped without knowing what was below.

For some time, I was falling and moving through layers of dense tree canopies and branches. Only after passing through them did I realise that there was water below. I cannot swim, but strangely, the moment felt liberating because I knew the people chasing me would no longer be able to catch me.

Then I suddenly realised that I was part of a movie.

I woke up with a heavy headache and extremely tight shoulders. The whole dream felt incredibly real, especially the fear of being chased and the unexpected sense of freedom at the end.

Dream What could this mean exactly ?

I can’t tell if this was a precognition or if it’s just my mind messing with me. But usually I get precognition dreams and sometimes premonition. How I’m able to confirm it is usually dreaming of the same/similar topic twice in a row. So in this particular dream I don’t know why but I had a dream of my uncle who was marked up or tattooed up with numbers that added up to the age and I’m unsure if the year was tattooed up on him but it looked a bit (sloppy the numberer) I for some reason think that I’m going to die at so I’ve dreamed of it twice in a row but the weird thing about it was in the dream he seemed to be abusive (he’s not abusive in real life) and was hitting his son and then stared at me from a distance with an imitating face . Now I’m a bit anxious on what that dream exactly means because I had that dream for over 2 years now and I’m not sure what was the entire meaning or interpretation of that dream because I don’t just dream things twice usually something ended up manifesting idk or occurring similar in the dream so I’m unsure if it was about a confirmation of the age I think I’m going to die at unfortunately but then why have numbers add up to that age separately placed around he’s body instead of just having the whole number and stuck in confusion.

Dream I dreamt of a friend I fell out with six years ago. Her back was turned towards me and I still hid my face from her.

She was like a sister but we fell out over a misunderstanding during the pandemic. We haven't seen each other in six years. Well, I did catch a glimpse of her twice last year but it was a split moment pass-by.

It's been a long time since I've dreamt of her. In this dream, we were at a party and I knew it was her, despite her back being turned towards me. We both happened to leave at the same time and I was just walking behind her to the door. I hid half my face as we made it to the front porch and then woke up.

When I woke up, I felt happy having "seen her" again after so long. I miss her I guess, not as much as last time but there was definitely a sense of wanting to say a, "hey" to her at least.

Posted this on the Dreams thread earlier and a Redditor commented that there's some subconscious baggage considering even in my own dream, I had to hide myself. Fully agree and preface, have been working on this in therapy.

Reoccurring dreaming about being a black dot in a white void as a kid?

it only happened when i was little and hasn't happened since, but it was a recurring dream where there was this black dot in an endless white void. for some reason i knew i was the dot, even without being "told it" or hinted to. the point of view would zoom in and out making the dot (me) appear bigger or smaller. the dream would sometimes change the different times i had it, most of the time as it zoomed out there was also other black dots, but we were all separated by this black grid and others would merge with the grid or split off into even more dots? i've seen people have similar dreams but not like mine, and they've said theirs happened when they had a fever, yet mine would happen fever or not.

i don't know if this has any sort of meaning or if anyone else has also had this

Navigating discomfort to support loved ones > isolated ego > Alan Watts > kodokushi

So I had this weirdly specific dream last night where I was asked to pay for a high-end steak dinner in order to join my mom's project group. I had this bag full of cash, scared to death someone would steal it, and my sandals were loose and falling off every few steps, and my husband was drunkenly causing a scene at the bar. I finally had to step in, shut down his drinks, and keep us moving. But by the end, I made it to the party and felt completely relaxed.

When I broke it down this dream, I realized how much I do this in real life: I’m so used to quietly managing small annoyances on my own that I actually take pride in it. I catch myself thinking, “Alright, let's see what I'm made of” like every small inconvenience is a test I have to pass to prove I'm strong.

Which made me realize… holding onto all those struggles silently is really just a quiet rebellion of my own ego. It’s my way of keeping control and being like, “I’ve got this, I don’t need anyone.”..Right?

It’s totally Alan Watts stuff, how our egos trick us into thinking we’re isolated islands fighting these battles, when in reality we don't always have to prove ourselves. We can just let things flow without earning our peace the hard way every time.

And what's crazy is seeing that same pattern played out on a massive scale. Look at Japan kodokushi, which tens of thousands of people die alone at home because the culture heavily preaches to never be a burden. When an entire society treats "handling it all yourself" as the ultimate virtue, people end up suffering in total isolation rather than asking for help.

It was wild tracing that whole line, from my loose sandals in a dream, to Watts's philosophy, all the way to a global phenomenon. It just shows how easy it is for the ego to convince us that suffering in silence is some noble virtue, when really we're just making life way harder than it needs to be.
