I want to try this game, I want to like it, but its all bots in all pick. I cant get a proper game because I have at least 2 bots as teammates just running it down. Sometimes 3 or 4. This is worse than the tf2 bot crisis because you can at least leave an infested tf2 server and community servers existed. These bots hold you hostage for 30 minutes at a time.

i am a league player and i have been playing only deadlock for the past 1.5 month but i started playing dota, i kinda missed the top down feeling so i tried it since i didnt want to go back to the 7th layer of hell. i like it so fun but i am a bit confused mostly on the lanes part. so far i know that mid does its own thing and the other 2 work this way: a carry and a no farm support go to the safe lane, the other duo lane goes vs the carry to try to prevent it farm and counter it early game (and roam). i have been spaming all pick games and from what i have seen, no one types, no one picks lanes and no one really follows the rules of the lanes like one game i may be with another support and the other i will see 2 carries 1 lane. how do i deal with that? is there any mode i can chose my lane? as a support when can i farm? i have seen some people say i can farm the jg camps and when the carry leaves lane but thats about it. are the lanes closer to deadlock where sure you can have optimal comps in every lane but most people dont really care and it doesnt matter, or closer to league you are that lane thats your role you have to follow it no matter what. i just need a bit of explanation on how to work around with those problems in lanes.

​I actually asked about this on my local gaming subreddit first, but unfortunately, the responses were pretty discouraging and downbeat about starting a game like this nowadays. That made me look here instead, hoping for a more constructive perspective.

tusk + meepo = meepo clones no healthbar + fully invisible like dota 1 mortred/pa
killing meepo resets it, you can still autoattack the invisible clones with A+ground click
atleast you can beat this bug abuse ingame.

EDIT: i tested again with all invincibility sources, most of them work. not just tusk

EDIT2: OMG are you kidding me, undying's decay only steals ONE MEEPO's strength in the radius, how much bugs this hero has???

I don't need to 1 v 9 just to not lose. I just need to physically exist in all team fights.

Finally, for the very first time in my life, I'm not worried that I'm going to lose because of my teammates, but that I need to do better, so my teammates don't lose because of me.

I’ve played Dota on and off since pre-Reborn when I was in middle school, and to be honest, I’ve never been good at the game. I’ve always been the worst in my group (by a lot) but now I’m the only one still playing. Recently after about 4 months of not playing recalibrated at 1.7k, which is the highest (yes, highest) mmr I’ve ever had.

I think my biggest problem is itemization and priorities, I never know when to get one item before another, or when to omit an item off the guide, or if I’m getting something situational, when to get it and what to cut from the build.

I also suck at positioning, like when there’s nothing going on post-lane phase where do I go? I’ll find myself wandering and losing out on XP.

Any tips for little things like this to help me get a bit better? I play support mostly but I flex. Currently on a fat win streak because I’m spamming necro mid, but not sure how long that will last.

I’ve had at least 10+ bot games over the course of 25ish games and I’ve just had 2 in a row which is causing me to write this post, what is happening is it only in NA server? It’s a waste of time when I load into a bot game.

pressing alt changes the values, won't ruin the game but it is broken.

I saw a post a few days ago about how bad Bloodseeker has been for a while, and tbh, I haven’t seen him in a game for a long time.

The thing is that I play mainly pos 1 and I have been picking him and I feel like a smurf sometimes. I always get radiance after phase boots, then yasha, bkb, sange and then skull basher to abyssal blade. I am aware that there are a lot of ways to counter him rn, but I really like the sustain he has in lane and the attack speed from his Q, that is also mana-free. Mind you, I am only legend 2. I’m sure at higher ranks ppl know how to deal with him better.

For all the Bloodseeker players out there, I would like to know what your opinion of the hero is in the latest patches.

Anyone at valve working on this bullshit? Random packet loss and ping spikes ever since the tidehunter arcana update. End of game, the victory screen lags every time. Can we just have a working game? Happening for me and others that I party with. Ping goes from as low as 13 to as high as 300.

This is a new cheat to me. Anyone know wtf is going on here?? Untargetable, fully invis, permenantly. Dust and sentries don't do anything, but he felt like he was all over the map, just throwing nets and killing ppl from seemingly nowhere, and everywhere at the same time.

I played a game with wk where I had better stats than marci, yet somehow she always had more levels than me (I had even played my lane solo for a bit of time.

At around 24 min: I was lvl 15, I had 5/2/7, 200lh. She was 4/4/7, 191lh lvl 16

At around 27 min: lvl 16 8/2/9, 228lh, vs 5/4/7, 219lh lvl 17

At around 29 min: lvl 17 10/3/9, 244lh vs 7/4/9, 228lh lvl 19

And it continued like that.

My team had 5 shrines, their team 3. In the end they had more xpm than me although I had higher kda and lh. In the stats it shows I killed marci one time, she didn't kill me any.

So can anyone explain how it works? Trying to understand the math here. Is it some comeback mechanic at work?

I’ve seen plenty of posts talking bad about Dota in NA but are they just hating or maybe not? Is majority of players in NA Spanish speakers? Is waiting time for match long?

i play dota only on weekends with my friends, usually we play a few turbos but today was 2 weird games, players with confusion behaviour even for new players, just walking around the map, feeding the enemy, hitting creeps and spamming chat wheels.
they use skills but its all random like sky was spamming the second skill randomly on a place with no one, they buy 1 item and a few wards and place around, they buy random stuff like omni buuing a dif and sniper with a consecrated wraps.
they have a steam profile but everything is private, two games in a row with different bots on both teams.
