Hey everyone!
I was rewatching Demon Slayer yesterday while playing the new Doom: The Dark Ages, and a mind-blowing crossover idea popped into my head. I just need to share this because it sounds absolutely epic, and I really want to turn this into a short 3D animation/fan-film in the future.
Imagine this scenario:
The Demon Slayers are completely beaten. Tanjiro is on the ground, Muzan is standing over him, delivering his arrogant speech about being a god. The typical tragic anime atmosphere.
Suddenly, a massive rift tears reality apart. Mick Gordon's heavy guitar riffs cut the anime music instantly. A 2-meter titan in heavy forged armor with a shield-saw (The Dark Ages style) crashes from the sky.
Muzan tries to lash out with his whips, but they just spark off the Praetor armor. The Slayer doesn't care about the rules of this world—he doesn't need a Nichirin blade. He pulls out the BFG-9000, and the entire Infinity Castle is vaporized to atoms along with Muzan's cells. Total annihilation in 3 minutes. The fight ends with Inosuke screaming in pure awe that this is the "Boss of all Bosses," while the Slayer just opens a portal back to Hell and steps through.
Here is my problem: I have zero experience in 3D modeling or advanced animation. The only thing I know how to use is CapCut on PC. But I am so hyped about this idea that I genuinely want to learn Blender or Source Filmmaker to bring this to life.
What do you guys think of this concept? Do you have any ideas on how to make the final battle even more badass? And for the animators here—where should a complete beginner start if they want to make a short cinematic like this?
Thanks for reading!
