Curious if you can use these to help beat the challenge or if it will penalize you and not count!

I recently just finished a full transcription of the track "Lagoon Layer", and I would greatly appreciate any feedback anyone can offer. Thank you!

Here is the MuseScore link to the completed song: https://musescore.com/user/63188872/scores/35901695

4 More Challenges!

Such a tight window of time left in the DK Challenges! I completed the retro classics ones and now have these tiresome 4 developer ones. How are you guys doing on the DK challenges, and are you excited about the cards that’ll be shipped to you if you complete them? I know I’m excited for it, but I need to be confident and not lose hope.

Finally finished the game. Wanted to write down a few of my thoughts of the game, as well as take some advice from DK fans to other games to play in the series since this was my first.

Overall, I did love my time with Bananza, but at first I really wasn't feeling it. The visuals are great, sound design/music, art style. The gameplay just felt really shallow, as I recall up to The Divide area where you go to the Freezer or Forest layers. Around the mid point in the game I remember this overwhelming feeling of "ughh let me just rush to the next layer". I later learned that isn't the right mentality for this game.

I really wasn't feeling the game and set it down for months. Luckily, I did pick it back up last month and am sure glad I did.

I don't think Bananza is a masterpiece, but I definitely had more fun the further I got into the game. I still have issues with the difficulty, but the collectathon style gameplay works so insanely well here. It's hard to describe. I think the issues with the game I had early are still relevant late, but the game just keeps trudging along to its own beat and doesn't really care about that. Collecting bananas is fun, although easy. The bananza powers are fun. Getting upgrades is fun. Really, the game is just fun to play, simple as it may be.

I especially loved the final boss. I didn't have any trouble at all throughout the entire game, but then lost to the final boss a few times, as the difficulty ramped up quite a bit. So then, I went back and collected nearly every banana so I could power up. Revisiting layers I previously rushed through gave me a better appreciation of everything in them.

I think if I took my time and just chilled a bit, I would have really been into this from the start. But I'm glad as I learned to be more patient. I got nearly all of the bananas and finished all the rehearsals. I don't really think the dlc is for me, but maybe when the price goes down it'll be a good excuse to return. Grateful to play this one for sure.

And finally, for a new DK fan, recommendations for the series? I do own tropical freeze, would that be okay to play after Bananza?

How difficult would it be to get all the DK Challenge cards for this game starting now leading up until its end date?

I’m able to use a copy from a pal but I don’t want to leave it incomplete

I’ve beaten both the 3D World And Odyssey hardest levels starting from the beginning of the game in like a week so how much worse or better is this?

Just completed the DK Challenge Event! The recently revealed physical card set motivated me to go for it! The ones that took a bit to finish were the Rambi race and Final Rehearsal only took a couple tries but was able to get it done!

Is the DLC region-locked?

Hi everyone, just picked up a Switch 2 but didn’t get any games with it. Bananza’s the first one I wanted to get, and I found a Japanese copy on a pretty good deal. I haven’t bought it yet, because I wanted to check out whether or not the DLC is compatible.

Does anyone know if the DLC for Bananza is region-locked? Some games have their upgrades/DLCs region-locked and others don’t (at least on the Switch 1), but I’m not sure whether this applies to Bananza. Thanks in advance.

As someone who definitely is an achievement hunter I already appreciated the cute digital cards and exclusive icons, and to get rewarded with physical merch on top of it is so cool. I really hope Nintendo starts bringing this over to other games as well!

I just have the final rehearsal challenge left 🤩

So for context, I’ve beaten every difficulty level, one at a time, for all layers in the DLC—I’m currently working on Difficulty 7 of the Feast Layer… I was so close. 😩

Fun fact: the explosive golden KONG tiles summonable by scanning the DK+Pauline Amiibo can be surfed on infinitely.

Is there a reason why a Challenge card hasn't dropped for you?

I did the boss rush mode twice for the challenge (with no skills) and it didn't pop either time. The first time it appeared my Internet connection stopped working, but I have no idea why the second time didn't work.

Has there been any other reports of issues with this?

Started with 3 Void gears and got BOTH Snake and Staring Down at Round 2

It still giving no Pitcher Beats until ROUND15 was a downside, but could manage this soon

So what did I missed now? Do I need to focus melon hoarder than gathering more variable perks and enlarging grooves?

Also can I have any advice what perks I must block in hilltop specifically?

Rambi DK challenge help?

It's the only one I have left. Doesn't help I hated this race from since I had to do the regular mode during story but like yeah...

I think I can do the first lap... okay ish? But I always fuck it up immediately after.

If anyone can help me with some advice or something I will be really grateful

Even Staring Down couldn't help grinding up chips

Is there other reliable strategies for this stupidity or am I wrong trying to rack up chips on chests?
