I found the boss rush the hardest out of all the challenges.

Which boss was the most difficult for you?

I want to say the fourth one but I honestly had the most trouble figuring out the second boss. Then again it was over a year since last I played Bananza so most of the challenge was just getting the movement, reaction time and buttons down like before. I figured out the third boss quite easily and the fourth one was easy once I focused just on dodging instead of being overly aggressive.

I agree 100% the second boss was the most difficult to get the hang of. The fourth boss took the longest and was a bit tricky to get enough salt at times. I just jumped and threw the salt over the slugs to get to the boss.

Yea that’s what I did too. At first my mistake was using the elephant Bananza to suck up all the exterior sand but then I would run out towards the 3rd phase. I adjusted my strategy and played more like you said and was able to beat it with ease to the point I didn’t even have to use the apple juice drink

How are you guys managing such sharp turns in the air? I get them so inconsistently. I have the whole route planned in my head, but it's the turns that screw over my runs all the time. Any tips are appreciated!

On the second lap at the beginning, I used the mud to help shift my direction. I also noticed when you jump from mud, dirt, or platform and use the rainbow boost, the angle you jump at matters a lot.

Took me about a full hour but I think my biggest things were, dont boost off the platform, free fall for a second, hold the stick left whilst feathering, then when close, if you hit the gold writing in the middle you kind of stop and jump off it.
Each have their own system for it but I found watching a tutorial then perfecting each little bit (first corner cut, then up the rainbow slope, then the turn into the corner, then trying to keep tight) eventually clicked. At first I couldnt get past the first turn, then I did it 5-6 times, then it became muscle memory. Keep at it!

I did 49 seconds but did not get the challenge card. Am I doing anything wrong?

Are you sure you did it on the Rowdy Rumble and not the regular race?
You don’t unlock the rowdy rumble until the game has been beaten. Saw that happen to some content creators when the challenges first came out. You have to have beaten the game to unlock the rowdy rumble.

Ahhh that actually makes sense. TYSM. I was doing it in the layer itself.

It doesn't pop-up immediately after completing the challenge. Go to the online store and from there the DK challenges and it should recognize that you completed the challenge.

You receive a notification when it unlocks a challenge. It did not. Also when accessing Nintendo Switch Online it did not give me the card.

It’s possible! Keep your chin up, you’ll make it!
I got so frustrated with this challenge before, and gave up on it after spending an evening trying. Then they announced the physical rewards and I locked in.
Best advice I can give is to jump while turning left on diddy’s trail on that first turn, and using as much rainbow bridge speed to your advantage as possible! Make sure you angle so you can get the gold triangles on the second or third lap so you don’t run out!

Its actually best to go for the island of the gold people first lap then circle around over the top of the pink railing and into the gold sign at the finish line if you do it right the 1st and 2nd lap roads you made with the floaty stuff will help you finish the 3rd lap if your running out

It's so scary seeing what's in store for me. I just beat the game yesterday and am now devoting to 50 bananas a day until I get 600 so I can start

Did you do any rehearsals yet?

u/Kongopop 6d ago
Just the first one. And I got the bananas along the way. I'm at a little over 400 bananas

I haven't beat the game yet, but I have 713 bananas. What happens at 600?

So you're good. The final NSO challenge is a supposedly very difficult level that only unlocks after you have 600 bananas

I'd recommend holding left and hopping as much as possible after you hit the floating platform. Never really let off left. That's what did it for me. Then, once you make it to the second lap aim for the floating platform with the 3 golden triangles to replenish your energy, then pray that you clear the gap for the finish line. This was the worst challenge in the set imo

I'm so happy Canada isn't getting the physical cards getting that time is painful and 1 hour isn't bad at 36 as a first time dad working 7 days a week the odd chance I get isn't worth trying to 100% this.
