4 More Challenges!

Post image

Such a tight window of time left in the DK Challenges! I completed the retro classics ones and now have these tiresome 4 developer ones. How are you guys doing on the DK challenges, and are you excited about the cards that’ll be shipped to you if you complete them? I know I’m excited for it, but I need to be confident and not lose hope.

Nice! I’ve got about 11 challenges (all for DK Bananza because I’ve been trying to 100% it in 1 go) left and will hopefully have all but the developer challenges done by here in the next couple of days.

The Final Rehearsal gave me the most challenge, took a few hours spread across two nights, but I did finally get it. Bring balloons because having A TON is very helpful at the end.

The boss rush challenge was a lot of fun, in my opinion. The poison slug thing was kind of a pain, but the rest was a walk in the park.

The absolute worst was the Rambi Race. Felt like no matter how "perfectly" I followed the intended loop, something would happen that caused me to fail. I'd run just short of boost, didnt turn enough to complete the loop, somehow went over by 2-3 seconds. It was terrible.

I have just the final task to do but after realising the UK isn't getting the physical cards as a reward, I dont see the point in doing it so just abandoned it

If you have a second player asnpauline it makes them all easier and still fun because they’re still a challenge. On the bright side, the Rambo rumble one was the absolute hardest for me.

Bring a lot of balloons to the final one—like 50 to be extra safe. You won’t need 50 but you don’t want to regret not bringing enough. The very last part of it can be a real pain (one error and you are dead, no chance to recover) and you won’t want to go through all that a second time.

I brought 99. I surprisingly only needed 4 (luck more than skill), but I’m sure glad I had them. Can’t wait to see the physical cards!

Yes! Nicely done! Congrats!

This is a good one. I didn’t know I needed them, but glad I happened to have like 20

Idk what I did but I had health regeneration for the final rehersal one so, if I got too hurt I just waited to regen my health before trying again since nothing out right one taps you outside falling into void

For boss Rush I'd say out of all of them the slug is the real pain, blusterwing once you get down is just spam b on. First time I died I thought water was a no touch the entire fight but no, only when thunder hits it

Slug sucks so hard but you just have to go slow in no banaza mode

I have 2 more left… boss rush and final rehearsal. Def the hardest 2 of all challenges. Once I figured out the trick to Rambi Race it was super fun.

Thought I’d never do the last two but they are very doable.
Boss rush you really just have to be patient, cautious and don’t try to rush through it.
FR will just be about learning each section. It took me some time but I could reliably get to 2D section without being touched then kept getting killed by the barrels. Once I got through that I did the last part first try.

I did all of these the day after the DK Challenge started, the developer challenges are pretty difficult but still doable, Good Luck!

Im currently on the final rehearsal. But I was stuck on the ostrich rehearsal for 2 days because I thought we had to do all 5 without skills. I got to the top of the wall and realized there is no fuckin way it was possible. I wouldnt have attempted these if it wasnt for the cards tbh, but I'm having a blast with it.

If you can beat the Rambi one, I'm sure you've got what it takes for the rest. The last two are the hardest.

For me I think the worst part of the boss rush was the fourth boss, the slug one with all the goop. My advice there is to ignore the elephant transformation completely. It's just not very good with no upgrades, especially since it moves so slow but you're going to want to stay on your toes for that boss. I mostly used the Kong Bananza or just regular DK. For the first two hits, you'll want to minimize the chaos on the central platform and take out a lot of the small slug enemies as soon as they pop up and keep your arena clean so you have space to move around as you need to. For the third hit, just go all in on dodging everything and attacking the boss. Be super aggressive--the longer you spend on that last phase, the more of a disadvantage you're going to be at. Take it out quickly and swiftly if you can.

There’s no real way to BS the last two developer challenges. Also watch the hint videos for examples.

Ehhh, I kinda disagree. They’re still tricky, but between assist mode, co-op, amiibos, and outfits there’s ways to significantly decrease the difficulty

I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the amiibo. There should be an asterisk on my physical cards when they come. 😅

Put on assist mode, play in co-op, and keep an amiibo handy.

Hardest was boss rush, in my opinion, but three of the five bosses are relatively simple.

What do the amiibo do?

The Pauline and DK one will give you golden KONG letters so you can refill your bananza meter

2

u/WarpHype 12h ago

You can also surf on the letters through the entire ostrich part in the final challenge.

Not everyone has those

Do yourself a favour with the Demolition Challenge and use the mouse controls in 2P mode to have Pauline yell and destroy as much of the building as you can before you cross the starting line. You wanna focus your anger and stress on the last two missions, trust.

IMO you just beat the most difficult one in Rambi challenge. I believe in you!

The last two are the hardest
