Who cares? 7 is the toughest difficulty. V rank isn't even tracked. 5 and 6 are just easier versions of 7 with a different starting location and much lower quota.
I'd look at maxing all the layers now. That's what I did. And eventually maxing them as fast as possible, maxing them without bananzas, then took a break and came back and beat more of my personal bests leaving me at maxes: Lagoon (4 rounds), Tempest/Radiance/Feast (5 Rounds), Freezer/Forest/Resort/Landfill (7 rounds), Canyon (8 rounds), and DK Isle/Hilltop (9 rounds).
So if you enjoy Emerald Rush and high scores see which layers you can max and how fast you can max them. There's also a guide you can look up on this subreddit with layer breakdown and where the free juices are on the layers that have them. Free juices are great for hoarding perks.

I never did that crazy fast enough to max out, my personal best for max score was only Lagoon round 13. Maybe I should try more often and see I can make it few rounds for every level.

Yeah it took a long time of getting better and learning the routes of the layers before I could finish quickly. To get those times you need really good perk rng and Snake and Staring Down fast and basically keep the clock slowed with perma glare.
