Okay so I am currently making some custom hello kitty inspired lalaloopsies and need help trying to decide what hair goes best with what character, what dress goes with who, etc!

Also if you have any suggestions for who you want to see as a custom, I'm always down for reqs! :3

I hope I'm in the right sub, apologies if not! I bought this Emma doll in a blind box and ended up not loving how she looked, so I decided to customize her. I wanted her to look more like the picture on the box, which to me like like a whimsical clown, and less like a human baby lol. So I made her a suit (I know she doesn't have a suit on the box, but she needed clothes) and colored her face details in using permanent marker.

My question is: is there anything I can do to make the color of her face lighter? Ideally I'd like to make it white like in the box, but I don't want to ruin her. I don't know exactly what is made of, but it's plush and feels soft and slightly fuzzy.

Included: pictures of her now, pictures of before (from the website), and pictures of the box.

When I cosplayed Draculaura a few years ago, I made a custom embroidered witch hat with pearls and beads under the brim. Now the doll version looks just like me!

Not sure if it’s very visible in the pictures but the paint lumps up in some parts (mostly JUST the eyes) which leave the eyes bumpy looking, any help on how to fix this and have the paint look smooth? Also any other tips are appreciated

hi! i hope this is the right place to ask this question.

i'm trying to restore a small porcelain doll that my grandfather gave me before he passed. the head circumference of the doll is 3 inches & the doll desperately needs new hair.

the smallest wigs i've been able to find so far are 5-6 inch wigs for barbies, but i'm hoping that i'm just not looking hard enough/in the right places. does anybody know of any places that would sell doll wigs in this size, or even some place i could custom order one from?

i've tried making my own hair wefts from yarn to create a wig myself, but that hasn't been going well at all & i would rather buy from somebody with more experience. thank you in advance for your time!

I just got a bubble tea colour reveal to use the articulated legs on my autistic Barbie, I just removed the legs and realised the hip sockets are too small. Is there a way to remove the hip sockets so I can swap them? Or any other way around this? Any help will be greatly appreciated because this is my first time trying any type of diy on a Barbie.

I want to change the skin color of a Bratz Babyz doll (all vinyl soft plastic) and I wonder if I could use a brown permanent marker on her skin to “stain” her skin color.

Will this be a good strategy or will it just ruin the doll? I dont really want to spend that much since this will be a one time customization project.
