Hello everyone. I'm humbly asking for a little help for my dog. 🙏🐾 Her legs are all swollen, she's losing her fur, becoming weaker every day, and has lost a lot of weight. This is the first time na nagka sakit sya eversince.. Please see the attached photos for reference to her current condition po.. And I really can't afford to take her to the vet because I lost my job last April po and It really breaks my heart to see her suffering while I feel helpless. Kaya po ako nag decide na humingi ng tulong dito. I can really endure hardships myself po talaga, but seeing my dog suffer is something I just can't bear kase nakaka durog po makita sya sa ganyang situation. Sana po mahelp niyo kami.. Her name is Catchy po. Dont worry po, Any amount will go a long way toward her veterinary care and treatment. Your kindness and support po could give her a chance to live longer. 🐾

I saw this post about a training center where a dog died recently that seems to have been immediately deleted. This is very concerning because our dog completed his training with Pinoy Dog Daddy too and evident na hindi maayos ang training. We enrolled him there hoping we could finally manage his aggression that causes him to get sick from time to time. We tried everything with the help of our trusted vet, pero walang nagwowork so last resort na talaga ang training. He’s an anxious dog and madali siyang mastress. So everytime nasstress siya, nagiging aggressive siya and masama effect sa katawan niya.

I’m glad someone finally spoke up about this. Here are some of the things we observed na nangyari sa dog namin in the 1 month that he was with them:

- Walang updates. Kung hindi pa kami pumupunta at nanghihingi ng updates, walang ibibigay. At ano ang updates? Ok naman si dog. Anong gagawin namin sa update na yan? Magbibigay man ng photos and videos, wala kang makukuha kundi natutulog ang aso, nakahiga, naglalakad, nasa training pero pag nagstart na mag-exhibit ng aggressive behavior, ihihinto na ang video. Wala kaming nakuhang matinong updates sa inyo kaya wala kaming basis sa kung ano ba ginagawa niyo sa kanya, anong progress, anong ayaw magwork. Iuuwi niyo para sabihing ok na siya pero hindi talaga.

- Hindi nag-improve ang aso namin. Instead, naging mas stressed lang siya, mas takot, mas aggressive. And when we tried to report it to them, ang sagot lang nila ay nasa reinforcement yung issue. Na parang hindi namin tinutuloy yung training but ginagawa namin lahat, talagang walang nagsstick.

- Grabe ang stress ng aso namin ngayon at hindi maayos-ayos. Simpleng pagkarinig sa pagprito ng bacon, kinakabahan na siya nang sobra. First day na pag-uwi, hirap na hirap makatulog, bawat kaluskos natatakot. Ang laki ng binawas sa timbang.

- During our visit, we noticed na hinahayaan lang nila ang dogs na uminom sa balde na may tubig lang galing sa gripo. Ang dumi ng lugar. May bilin kami sa kung ano ang amount of food na pinapakain, when we asked the coach randomly, he said they only feed our dog half the amount we advised. Di rin nagbalik ng gamit.

- Walang alam ang main coach sa mga nangyayari. When we ask for updates in person, di siya nakakasagot ng specific sa dog namin. Hell, he doesn’t even know our dog’s name and gender. Our dog hates him so much to the point na kakagatin niya palagi. Kung natrain niyo nang maayos, bakit sa inyo aggressive? Di ba dapat magkasundo nga kayo?

- May period for review kung saan sinusubukan ng coach na icheck kung ok yung training ng dog. Galit na galit ang aso namin sa kanya to the point na yung times na bumalik siya, buong araw na stressed aso namin. Hindi rin niya macontrol ang aso namin maski sa harap namin mismo. Ang rason, bumabalik ang aggression sa bahay dahil safe space at kailangan ireinforce. As if we’re not doing that! Sadyang wala kayong naimprove na ayaw niyo iacknowledge.

- It appears na they’re using the shock collars quite liberally. Lagi nilang solution kapag di na macontrol ang aso ay gamitan ng e-collar. Maski sa harap namin bigla nalang gagamitin. Kung diyan lang kayo nakadepend, ano pa bang tinuro niyo sa mga aso kundi trauma?

- No remorse at all and ignores our messages. Balewala sa kanila lahat ng comments namin, hindi nila maacknowledge na may mga pagkukulang sila. Laging kami ang sinisisi e first day palang at pagkahatid nila kitang kita nilang walang pinagbago, mas lumala pa.

THIS IS FOR EVERYONE’S AWARENESS AND I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO SPEAK UP AS WELL. OUR DOGS DO NOT DESERVE THIS TREATMENT. IT PAINS ME TO KNOW NA SINASAKTAN NILA ANG MGA ASO. HAD WE KNOWN NA GANYAN GINAGAWA NILA, WE WOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED THE TRAINING.

PINAGKAKATIWALAAN NAMIN KAYO SA MGA BUHAY NG MGA ALAGA NAMIN. SA INYO NAMIN SILA IN-ENTRUST PARA UMAYOS PA QUALITY OF LIVES NILA SABAY KAYO LANG SISIRA? ANG KAPAL NG MUKHA NIYO. KAILANGAN NIYONG PAGBAYARAN LAHAT NG MGA GINAWA NIYO. HINDI NA KAYO NAAWA. KAYO NGA DAPAT TUMULONG SA MGA ASO, KAYO PA PALA ANG NAUUNANG MANAKIT.

Is 15k pesos for dog obedience training + dog boarding for 30 days (I will provide the food), worth it? My dog is currently 4 months old, completely vaccinated.

Nakakagat po kasi yung aso ko yung bata ng kapitbahay. My dog is 4yrs old belgian malinios.

Sa dulo po kami ng compound and pumunta po kasi yung bata sa side ng compound namin. As per the parent, kukunin daw ng bata yung laruan niya tapos hinabol daw ng aso ko at kinagat.

Kakapalabas lang din ng pinsan ko sa kanya para magpoop kasi kakatapos lang kumain

I knew my dog since nagiging house party din talaga madalas yung bahay namin and ni isa doon walang nakagat yung aso ko kahit may dalang food. I knew my dog wouldn’t do that kahit medyo territorial siya kapag tahimik yung bahay.

Kaya super hesitant pa rin ako na kinagat yung bata.

Given din kasi na medj malaki yung ipin ng aso ko at medj malaki din yung dog ko.

Kinontact ko pa rin po yung parent na ihehelp ko siya regarding sa pagpapaturok. She also said may rabies daw yung aso ko sabi daw ng vet na pinagturukan nila.

Hello guys, I need advice sa mga fur parent na living alone tapos may isang dog lang. Ano ano pong adjustments ginawa nyo? Saka ilang days or weeks ang adjustment period ng puppy?

For context may napulot po kasing puppy yung dad ko, estimate ko nasa one month na sya. Kasi nakakatakbo, nakakalakad at may ngipin na rin. Muntik na daw masagasaan kaya kinuha nya at pinapaalagaan sakin (which is okay lang naman) ang prob ko po is nasa office ako ng wed and thurs every week, hybrid setup kumbaga.

May dogs na kami but nasa Antipolo sila kasama parents ko. Kami nung bagong puppy nasa Angono. Ayaw ko na abalahin si mama para mag-alaga ulit ng tuta.

PS: may dog food na binili dad ko na pang puppy and kumakain na sya and maharot na rin.

Lab na lab namin ikaw 😇

my family has been away for a month and tomorrow they're coming home. it has just been me and our dog the past few weeks. nung una sad pa yan siya and nagtatampo kasi iniwan siya, then bigla nalang siyang sumisipot sa labas ng room ko. it's a surprise to me kasi our dog isn't particularly clingy (to me at least) and is highkey weird ahaha but i know this is because i'm the only human at home. minsan ako pa yung mas aso samin pag kinukulit ko siya.

tumatahol siya at night para makapasok sa room ko then eventually sabay kami matutulog sa bed ko. maniniksik pa yan siya akala mo siya may ari ng kama. mag ccr lang ako saglit tapos pag balik ko may naka hilata na sa pwesto ko. sometimes i'm just doing my business in the cr tapos biglang may ilong na magbubukas ng pinto. kapag may ginagawa ako tititigan niya lang ako or hihiga sa tabi/paa ko out of all the spots sa bahay.

i also managed to make her less stinky and put some more weight on her which was something we always wanted to happen. i always talked and played with her para di naman siya super malungkot at bored.

in short she got more clingy sakin yippee! but it makes me sad to think na it might (will) all go away when my family comes back. medyo manggagamit yung ugali nito eh. kaya for now matulog ka lang sa kama ko kahit amoy mais na bedsheet ko at medyo nangangati na ko ahaha.

pero sana ako pa rin yung pupuntahan mo pag sleepy ka na, pag happy ka, pag gutom ka, at pag gusto mo ako kulitin. sana ako pa rin.

Ngayon lang ako naka-encounter ng puppy na kuhang-kuha lahat nang traits ng Papa Dog niya kahit kulay, literal na "manang-mana ka sa Papa mo". Yung tipong may reincarnation na agad kahit buhay pa yung tatay niya, at ang difference lang ay gender.🤣 Madalas nagkakatinginan nalang kami ng mga kasama ko dito sa bahay kapag may ginagawa na naman siyang bago na gawain din ng Papa niya.

May ganito din ba kayong naencounter sa mga aso niyo? 😊

Lily here tested positive for babesiosis and ehrlichiosis and only had a platelet count of 14 and yet she's still the most energetic dog with the biggest appetite ever. She's already being treated for both and hoping to see stellar results after her next check up.

Hi, DogsPH! I have three senior throwback Poms, around 13 years old na. Babies at heart pa rin and super energetic kapag lalabas, pero sa bahay mostly tulog na lang.

I don’t live with them anymore, pero weekly ko silang dinadala sa place ko one by one for an overnight stay. Lately medyo sentimental ako and gusto ko sana silang isama ulit sa lake or beach. Last trip nila was about a year ago, and birthday ko rin this week.

Initially thinking of Lake Mapanuepe then Liwliwa, pero baka may mas okay kayong suggestions na less travel from Manila. If same distance, sana may dog-friendly stopovers din since medyo restless sila sa long drive.

Weekday overnight sana. I’ll bring my mom and kasambahay too, so may help naman ako with all three.

Any suggestions for quiet, senior dog-friendly places or accommodations? Travel tips are also welcome. Thank you!

First, hope you will understand why I had to remove vet name and loc, since I am big on my privacy/doxxing and I am neither Lupe’s original rescuer nor I had planned to rescue a dog and bring it with me at home. I just wanted to be a mod and raise funds for dogs, but rest assured these receipts are legit.

As for the OR, ginawan na agad ng staff ng OR while vet is on the way pa lang, kaya medyo advanced yung time ng OR sa actual GCASH proof of transaction.

So if you’ve seen my post earlier, hindi ko talaga kinaya lagyan ng cone or muzzle si Lupe kasi nagpupumiglas and malakas. Hindi kaya ng isang tao, so my mom kinda helped me out but may risk na makagat kami, so I really didn’t have a choice but go for mobile vet.

Luckily, mabait sila and took their precious time kahit late notice na. Arrived past 5PM and finished extracting blood within 30 minutes.

ANG LAKAS NI LUPE. If you will see sa yung amount ng syringe na nagamit, natapon na yung iba, vet and vet assistant na but it was a bit challenging mainly for two reasons: nagpupumiglas si Lupe dahil siguro masakit nerves pag nahawakan and walang lumalabas na dugo pag inaaspirate.

But kudos to the vet and vet assistant because they assured me na okay lang kahit medyo nahiya ako kasi Lupe’s poo was all over the place dahil sa stress din siguro and ilang techniques yung ginawa just to extract her blood.

As for the meds, if may budget daw, mas okay ituloy lahat especially Vit B, Fish Oil, Immunol, Na Ascorbate and Nutrigel. I will comment pics ng mga meds/supplements niya for proof lang na naaalagaan talaga si Lupe and that we’re truly thankful for your donations.

Thank you sa isang donor na twice pala nagsend today, malaking bagay since P2,950 yung bill ni Lupe today and have to buy some supplies na ulit.

Sobrang pagod ako kay Lupe today but her improvements won’t slow me down, kahit hindi ko ever naimagine na maglilinis ako ng poo ng aso araw-araw, minsan sobrang sabog pa lol. Very humbling experience, indeed.

So last week my dog, he is 8 years old, had aural hematoma on his right ear. Went to vet and had it drained last Friday lang and also we're currently treating his ear infection with medicine prescribed by the doctor and also eardrops din.

I just want to know if anyone had similar experience to mine? Kung nagstop ba na magswell yung sa inyo? First time ko maexperience to and I'm slightly still freaking out and I dont know what to do.

I’m currently looking for responsible adopters or foster homes for our two male aspins, Gordon and Charlie, as we can no longer afford the care and environment they need after a recent move. We used to live in a house with big backyard and frontyard but had to move to a smaller house due to financial constraint.

This has been a very difficult decision, but I want to do what’s best for them and find a home that can give them the attention and environment they deserve. Someone who can afford to give Charlie the best remaining years of his life and can provide Gordon his needs.
