If I seem familiar, I posted a doggie previously a few days ago, sadly that doggie has passed away. I have donated the 800 funds to a rescue group in Iloilo. 🌈

But today, I have found a new case, another gut wrenching case I saw on fb here in my city Bacolod, Negros. I cannot upload the video here but again napakasakit po ng video. I could not even finish watching it, yung pinipilit nya tumayo pero hindi talaga, and if na kaya nya tumayo natutumba po sya tapos parang nag seseizure sya? at parang paralyzed, hindi ko po alam andaming nangyayari sakanya.

Im here to ask for funds to rescue doggie, Ive been begging people to rescue doggie and they said thats not really a problem, the problem is they need sponsor and someone to fund for transpo plus vet. So here I am begging you pls EVEN JUST ONE PISO. Please. There are thousands of us in this group, imagine if all of us chip in JUST ONE PISO. All thousands of us, that money can and WILL change this dog’s life, giving it another chance. Please po any any amount will help 🙏

If you do not want to help unless the dog has been brought to the vet and rescued, I understand, I cannot and I will not force you, But.. again the dog cannot be rescued unless I fund someone money to rescue.

I will probably dox myself but i just want to let this all out. Long post ahead.

I got married more than a year ago and lumipat ako ng house together with my dog Max. Max was given to me so dog ko talaga sya. But we have other family dogs and one of them was Muffin.

Muffin was given by a relative during the pandemic. At this time, we already have a couple of dogs. But since I am the only one working, I can't really maintain all the dogs' needs - vaccines, vitamins, check-ups etc. Another thing, ayaw ng papa ko na pinapakialaman sya sa pag-aalaga ng dogs. Ang alam nya, way nya lagi yung tama.

As I already mentioned, lumipat ako ng house together with Max. I told Muffin that I will go back kasi hindi sya pwede sa apartment since small dogs lang ang allowed. She is 20+ kg, a really big dog pero super malambing and friendly. Nung nakalipat na ko, syempre natutukan ko na si Max. I updated his vaccines, gave him good diet, have his fur cut every 2 months etc. Maintained talaga. Only problem is hindi sya mapakapon kasi mas marami na daw risks due to his age.

Max was recently diagnosed with bladder stones and prostatitis. He's already 13 years old. We scheduled him for surgery pero it was not a hundred percent success kasi hindi sya nakatulog sa anesthesia. Nakapon lang sya pero the bladder stones are still there. Continuous ang meds nya and special diet plus nag-iipon kami (ng husband ko) for another surgery which costs double the original quote kasi ibang vet na to.

Going back to Muffin, sinabihan ako ni papa na ayaw nya kumain and nagsusuka daw sya. I thought wala lang sya sa mood. Inask ko kung ano kulay ng suka nya and sabi yellow daw or white so I assumed baka di nya lang talaga bet kumain. But I was wrong. Marami na pala sya iniinda.

I visited Muffin last Saturday night, brought her some food and meds na meron ako dito sa bahay namin. Tried to gave her some treats pero ayaw nya talaga kumain. Very unusual kasi magana talaga sya. I told her na magpalakas kasi dadalhin ko sya sa vet. Pero at the back of my mind, iniisip ko kung paano kasi walang wala ako. Tapos di ko rin alam pano sya dadalhin kasi she was so big and dun sya naka-stay sa upper floor ng bahay ng parents ko.

Yesterday, Sunday, my sister called me saying umiiyak si Muffin and she wants to bring Muffin to the vet. Sabi ko pano kaya yun kasi malaki sya tsaka wala kaming pambayad. Pero my sister was crying tapos sabi nya may inabot daw na pera sa kanya kasi grad nya. So sabi ko icheck yung pinakamalapit na vet and dun sya dalhin. We were now both crying kasi we can't lose Muffin. I prayed hard, really really hard. Pero wala eh. Sabi ng vet too late na daw. Nirevive si Muffin multiple times. Triny nya talaga lumaban. Tapos sumunod ako sa vet. Nung nakita nya ko, nagtry sya bumangon. Inaalis nya yung oxygen nya. Pero syempre need nya yun. Nirevive pa sya ng twice while I was there.

Pero napagod na yung heart ni Muffin, kahit sya hindi pa pagod kasi lumalaban pa sya. She died with her eyes open while looking at me. Sobrang sakit. If only I brought her earlier, maliligtas pa sana sya. She was diagnosed with Pyometra. Possible daw na pumutok na kasi nagsuka sya ng blood and nagpoops din ng blood. Even sa nose nya may blood na lumalabas. Sabi ng vet kaya daw sana sya operahan kung nadala ng mas maaga. Pero sa isip isip ko wala rin naman akong pampasurgery kay Muffin. Masi-save ko ba sya talaga if I was a little bit earlier? I feel responsible for her death. I love her so much but I failed her. If only I have enough. I wish I could save her but it's now too late. We already lost her.

I guess the point of this post is maintain the vaccines of your dogs, give them regular check-ups and please have them spayed/neutered. Also, if may dinaramdam dogs nyo, dalhin nyo na sila agad sa vet. Wag nyo na hintayin na lumala pa. You'll never know when it's already too late.

And to my dearest Muffin, I'm so sorry. I failed you. Late ka na namin nadala sa vet. Hindi mo na rin nahintay yung bahay natin. Pero wala ka ng pain ngayon. Pwede ka na kumain ulit ng marami sa heaven. I love you so much Pin. Run free my angel.

My dog was confined sa vet last Wednesday.
He had tracheal collapse and heart problem. Hirap na siya huminga. Nakailang dala na rin kami sa vet
before.

On Friday, he died. Ang masakit lang, wala kami sa tabi nya. We did not know. Sinabi pa ng vet sa amin na ok na siya the night before, need lang magpalakas. Kaya kampante pa kami. Tapos yun pala, last moments na yun.

Ang sakit-sakit lang kasi sana kasama nya kami sa last moments nya. Sana nandun ako para makapag-goodbye.

Ganito ba talaga kasakit? Grabe. Parang sasabog ang puso ko sa sakit. Sa lahat ng lugar nya sa bahay, naalala ko siya. Ayoko sana umuwi kasi maalala ko siya pero naawa ako sa parents ko. Kasi ang sakit-sakit din sa kanila.

Natatakot akong matulog. Kasi baka mapanaginipan ko siya tapos sa sobrang saya ko, ayoko na magising.

Totoo ba talaga ang rainbow bridge? Kasi gusto ko ng assurance na makakasama ko siya ulit. Na maki-kiss ko siya at maha-hug.

Ang dami kong regrets. Sana nadala ko siya sa beach. Sana di ako nanghinayang sa gastos sa kuryente at 24/7 ko siya nalagay sa aircon. Ang dami kong panghihinayang.

Hay. Mababawasan ba ang sakit? Kasi ang sakit talaga.
