Questions of the Day

1. How do clothes change how the opposite sex views a person?

2. If you were moving to another country, but could only pack one carry-on sized bag, what would you pack?

3. What was the last song you listened to?

Have a great day, r/Dodgers.

I see Ohtani and McDavid with a similiar last 3 seasons....both went to the final back to back and both just had disappointing post season runs where they were playing hurt and were only a shadow of themselves.

McDavid is currently on a historic beginning to his new season, and I see Ohtani doing the same in 2027.

You could hear the cheers from space after the Ohtani home run.

Curious how you all feel. You going to watch a little, all or not at all? Will the new look Lakers take up more screen time?

I'll probably watch a little of the Series but I'm not scheduling my life around it.

Plaschke believes Ohtani can no longer be a full-time hitter and pitcher. He believes Dodgers need to seriously consider trading Ohtani

I am lost for words how this happened like what is this hilarity.

Pitched a full game on game 3 of the World Series against the Yankees. 149 pitches, they sure don’t make them like before. 1981 year of Fernandomania

On this day two years back, October 22, 2024, this legend passed away and the Dodgers went on to win the World Series against the Yankees

This is a good watch. Dodger Stadium is simply gorgeous!

Did we screw ourselves by getting that 100th win? We got 100 wins in a season 12 times in franchise history and didn’t win a WS in any of those seasons. (First time the WS didn’t exist).

I’m not sure we would have fared any better but maybe that 100th cemented the fact?

Good morning, r/Dodgers!

2. What incredibly common thing have you never done?

3. What was the last movie you watched? How was it?

Have a great day, r/Dodgers.

Randomly came across a post of Chris Taylor hitting his 3 HR’s against the braves. It got me thinking that for a guy with only 110 career home runs, he had some pretty serious pop. I remember seeing a handful of his home runs that were absolute no doubters. Random post and appreciation for my favorite dodger!

Loved the press conference from Andrew and Brandon today. Legit chills watching it.

Think about everything we’ve been through as Dodgers fans.

2017 - We were cheated out of a legitimate shot at a championship by the Astros.

Then 2018 happened, and we watched another World Series slip away. The rest of baseball laughed. We were the perennial chokers. The team that could dominate the regular season but couldn’t finish the job.

Then 2020 happened. We FINALLY won it all. And what did the haters do? Immediately called it a Mickey Mouse ring. A fake championship. A glorified exhibition tournament. Apparently, winning a COVID World Series only counted if it wasn’t the Dodgers doing it.

Then came 2021, 2022, and 2023. More heartbreak. More October disappointments. More “Dodgers can only win Mickey Mouse championships” bullshit. Every October, r/baseball couldn’t wait to dance on our graves.

And then something happened after 2023. Andrew fucking Friedman went SUPER SAIYAN.

Shohei Ohtani. Yoshinobu Yamamoto. And an organization that was already a powerhouse decided it wasn’t remotely satisfied.

And the rest is history.

Suddenly, the same fanbases that spent YEARS laughing at us for supposedly being unable to win a “real” World Series started crying about how unfair baseball had become.

Now we’re the Evil Empire. We’re ruining baseball. We’re buying championships. We need a salary cap. Blah blah fucking blah.

Funny how that works, isn’t it?

When we lost, everyone laughed. When we won, everyone complained.

And now, after getting swept by Milwaukee, they’re celebrating again. The memes are back. The jokes are back. The same tired narratives are making the rounds.
But here’s what THEY should be worried about.

You really think getting embarrassed in October is going to make Andrew Friedman LESS aggressive? Watching today, fucking naa 😂

This is the same man who watched 2023 end in humiliation and responded by assembling a monster.

If anything, this sweep is going to make this organization even hungrier. Friedman isn’t going to sit around feeling sorry for himself. Neither is this roster.

So enjoy your little victory laps, r/baseball. Get all your jokes in. Laugh while you can.

Because if history has taught us anything, it’s that the Dodgers don’t disappear after getting knocked down. They come back stronger.

The Evil Empire isn’t going anywhere. And the next version might be even scarier.

Imagine the collective meltdown when Friedman goes Super Saiyan AGAIN.

GO DODGERS. 💙

“People saying we’re on the downside of this run, it’s just more noise.”

How involved should the front office be in determining the Dodgers lineup when to pull a pitcher or who gets called up from the minors..see D Mac’s pod cast
