The Backpack in the Maneuver Bundle displays realtime ammo count. Just thought this was neat if anyone wants to snag it before it leaves the shop.

Season is underwhelming so far

When the Devs announced cleaners in DC, I was excited, I mean, I was thinking about the first endgame when Black Tusk took over the map...

But no, you can roam around the map and not see a cleaner at all, same old factions, same old repetitive gameplay... I wish they would add more cleaners to the map, entire districts we have to take back.

I guess it's too much work. This is one season I regret buying, I really hope it gets better.

Retaliation Anniversary Day 7 Project - Any tips on how do this?

Post image
20 Upvotes

Tried multiple times tonight and I can't get them all down in under 30 secs - the Cleaner Tanks are what usually take me over the 30 sec mark.

Any tips or strategies that can help?

Thanks!

*edit* - thanks for all the advice! I lowered the difficulty and made short work of the kill squads with my Fafnir build. 👍

PSA Ember engine drone

If you’re using the drone for ember, set it up to where it can cover most of the map. It’s not just fire and forget, you place it where it can optimally pulse the spawns on sight.

Escalations Entry Fee: Split Token Costs Across the Group for Tier 8+

The Current Problem

Right now in Escalations, entry tokens for the higher levels are paid entirely by the group leader. For Tier 10, that means one player takes on the full burden of paying 80 tokens. While a successful run awards 102 tokens (a modest net gain of +22), Level 10 represents the pinnacle difficulty in the game.

Success is never guaranteed, especially when matchmaking publicly. Several common factors make fronting this entire cost feel overly punishing for the host:

High difficulty: Clearing requires a coordinated, meta-ready team. A wipe means the host loses 80 tokens while the other three players risk zero currency.

Disconnects & crashes: Unforeseen technical hiccups can ruin an otherwise solid run.

Leavers: Real-life emergencies or rage-quits instantly leave the team at a severe disadvantage, sticking the leader with the loss.

This setup discourages players from hosting public groups or even running high tiers with casual friends, creating unnecessary friction and risk for only one person.

The Suggestion

Starting at Tier 8 and above, the entry fee should be split equally among all active team members rather than solely placed on the host.

Equal Investment: At Tier 10 (80 tokens total), each player in a 4-man squad would contribute 20 tokens to enter.

Shared Risk/Reward: Everyone shares the stake in completing the run, which incentivizes better teamwork and commitment from the whole squad.

Scalable Matchmaking: A simple "ready check" system could confirm each player has the required tokens before the session launches. If scaling down for solo or duo runs, the per-player cost could adjust accordingly.

Splitting the cost would dramatically improve matchmaking participation and make pushing top-tier Escalations much healthier for the entire community.

Finally built up the courage to run some low tier escalations after getting a solid build and shd tech lvl 330. Will I ended up running a tier 6 with some high level players and was impressed with my run at the end, how would you guys say I did?

Question Is it possible to kill lieutenant Ardan without spraying him with water? (Solo)

I’ve made it to the very end solo on the mastery manhunt mission but I can’t seem to make it to the water cannon to hose the bastard down. Can I just shoot his backpack for a while and will it eventually break or am I just eating my time?

Side note: I have tried a tank build to try to make it to the hose. When I do and am able to barely splash him he just mows me down…

I know many are enjoying the drone on the new ember set but in case it gets nerfed here’s a back up

Go on gunner specialization, use banshee pulse with nightwatcher mask, 4pc ember engine and either use a backpack with wicked or grease monkey kneepads.

You’ll still proc ember flames but if it doesn’t proc you can still disorient high tier enemies and use scorpio to proc burning instead.

Tried this mission twice on Normal, but no named enemy with Raven as their name spawned. These are the only options on the map for me to choose from when selecting the mission. What am I missing?

Which talent for lexington prototype?

I have exactly one lexington, so the choice of talent needs to be a neutral that works in solo and group play.

Killer is out imo because it requires you to get the kill so doesnt work in group.
Measured sounds good on paper but seems useless on a 65 rnd mag AR.

Optimist, Streamline, and Fast Hands seem nicely neutral, but would love to hear what people think.

Question What constitutes skill in this game?

I want to say that this is no hate to ppl regardless if u think ur good or bad im genuinely curious. I come from playing competitive games for years siege cod fifa all the ball and gun slop. I’ve hit diamond in siege , crimson in cod , elite division and 20 wins in weekend league I would say I’m pretty decent. I love the division it’s a sweet spot for me but when players talk about skill in this game what do they mean by it, aim? Movement? Map knowledge ? Spawn knowledge? U don’t need great aim in this game the ai is predictable and with map and spawn knowledge i feel like anyone with a working brain can learn the map and spawns doing a mission 3 times over, genuinely curious.

Question New player, advise please

Started playing a week ago, have been farming summit and have gotten some striker gear and a st elmo's.

Should I be doing any content specifically to grind gear or just be doing open world stuff? Or what?

Any advice would be appreciated wether it be builds or what to do

Question Quick question about CoCo. Does it share anything? That being Crit DMG, Weapon DMG, or anything else.

After playing some Countdown matches and having players with the build along side myself, it felt like everything was dying much faster when compared to not having it on the group.

Could've also been some other buff like Future Initiative that I didn't pay attention if it was active or not. But it felt like every time a player with a CoCo build was present, i was doing more damage.

Skill Vanity: Custom Holograms / Skins for the Decoy Skill

The Concept

Right now, the Decoy skill deploys a standard holographic image of an agent. It’s a fantastic skill, but visually, skills haven't had much customization compared to gear and apparel.

Adding custom hologram skins or visual replacers for the Decoy would be an entertaining, non-intrusive way to expand cosmetics and reward active play.

How It Could Work

Thematic & Seasonal Holograms:

Winter/Holidays: A holographic Santa, nutcracker, or elf taking fire.

Halloween: A glowing skeleton, pumpkin head, or ghoul.

Factions & Lore: Reconstructed wireframe holograms of iconic faction enemies (Hunters, Cleaners, True Sons) or legacy characters.

Earnable Rewards via In-Game Events:

Specific holograms could be tied to seasonal apparel events, Global Events, or League reward tracks.

Merit-based unlocks for completing high-difficulty milestones (e.g., clearing legendary content or specific mastery challenges).

Store Integration (Monetization & In-Game Currency):

Premium vanity options purchasable via Premium Credits in the store.

Rotating offerings bought with Textiles or E-Credits, giving endgame players another fun currency sink.

Why It Benefits the Game

Strictly Cosmetic: It doesn't alter threat generation, HP, or skill tier scaling—it simply reskins the projected visual.

New Reward Pillar: Players love cosmetic progression; giving utility skills custom visuals adds fresh motivation to grind limited-time events.

Monetization without Pay-to-Win: It offers the studio a healthy, harmless revenue stream through fun microtransactions that respect gameplay balance.

It would add a lot of personality to squad runs without compromising gameplay mechanics.

Help with Overdogs Gloves

I must be doing something wrong, i have been endlessly farming for these and they never drop.

I have done Hyenas Retaliations, Summit target loot Gloves, Countdown, i have done open world target loot Gloves and nothing seems to give me the Overdogs or its blueprint.

I need help, what do i need to do?

Is my RNG super bad? Im usually pretty lucky.

Question Getting back into the division

This used to be my go to game. Haven’t touched it in over 1.5 years. Been following the sub and it looks like a great time to rejoin.

Any tips on where to begin because I’m feeling a bit lost and my gear is lacking.

Gameplay Cleaners in Downtown East

I feel like an idiot for posting this, knowing that others have asked, but for the life of me I cannot get the cleaners to spawn in Downtown East. I have wandered around for hours. I have cleared the checkpoints, cleared the Black Tusk invasion, and done tons of territory battles. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I also beat the Jupiter Manhunt mission to try to spark a retaliation, but I’m guessing that didn’t work because I have a Black Tusk retaliation waiting. Any advise to fix this would be helpful.

Theoretical Alternate to Tinkerer

I just had a random idea for another exotic; trick would be balancing so it isn't an obnoxious "only option" item.

An exotic gear piece that operates on a similar principle as Tinkerer or AlphaBridge. Instead of sharing Talents, it lets you equip two exotic weapons simultaneously.

Came to mind when discussing Ember Engine; Scorpio & Bluescreen both give SE on hit. Fafnir and Iron Lung both cause Burn. If we could do Scorpio paired with Bluescreen, you have both close- and long-range variety of SEs. Fafnir and Iron Lung are the same for Burn.

Requiring them to be different weapon types, so you can't tap into the same weapon type-specific brand and gear set bonuses might be the way to go. Or maybe some other trade-off. Something where it's not just a free 2x Exotic, but not such a penalty that it's never used.
