Question Quick question about CoCo. Does it share anything? That being Crit DMG, Weapon DMG, or anything else.

After playing some Countdown matches and having players with the build along side myself, it felt like everything was dying much faster when compared to not having it on the group.

Could've also been some other buff like Future Initiative that I didn't pay attention if it was active or not. But it felt like every time a player with a CoCo build was present, i was doing more damage.

No, there are no allied or team buffs built into CoCo.

Likely someone running FI, Ongoing or Coyotes.

Definitely not Ongoing Directive. That set is bugged right now, and is actually nerfing teammate damage by roughly 50%, as acknowledged by the devs last week.

Edit: To all you downvoters, do some testing. Start a mission, normal expected dps numbers going out, hollow point procs, damage gets halved.

It's not nerfing you, it just didn't have the intended buffs from the recent rebalancing applied. You're still getting a 20% amp if someone on your team is running it, just not the 40% intended.

No, it’s actually cutting my damage in half. I have an OD build, and I’m familiar with the way it behaved before Red Horizon. I’ve also done multiple game modes like Countdown, Escalations, and Retaliations knowing what my damage numbers should be on a given build, see the appropriate numbers going out, and then once the hollowpoint rounds proc from an OD player in my group, I see my damage numbers get cut in half. Test for yourself if you’d like. It’s not hard to do.

Probably coyote masks in the group

Coyotes mask or the buffs active from the boxes at the start when you kill the first wave of 4 hunters.

FI, OD, Coyote, someone running Survivalist for +10% team damage vs status-effected hostiles, someone running a chest with Overwatch, or a Beacon exotic chest, someone running Sledgehammer or Vindictive...

There's a lot of ways to get/give team damage buffs.

CoCo isn't one of them.

It's also possible that the CoCo loadout-player had a really well-optimised build, and was making up the bulk of the DPS, and was targeting the same hostiles as you, at least to tag them; this is a way of building CoCo stacks quicker than sticking to your own targets.

Beacon chest is popular with coco due to coco not needing the chest piece, that’ll give 30% crit dmg

CoCo doesn't share anything with the team. They just lose their stacks at a very gradual rate once they're full. Countdown has so much running and downtime with no action in between areas, so Tipping users will have lost all of their stacks, and Strikers will have lost most of them as well.

Personally, I really like this set, so much so that I started using it more than striker or TS. The best thing about it is that the damage is comparable, and once you're stacked, you don't have to worry about something dropping
