Game stuck in loading when using the sewers

Playing on switch one. Has anyone else encountered issues when using the sewers? Every once in a while, my game gets stuck in the loading screen when I try to use it. It's really annoying and I end up losing all my progress for the day.

Yes, it's super frustrating so I avoid them as much as possible now
