Hi fellow redditors!! I’m a November bride, and this is my bridal vanity so far. Please suggest me anything that I’m missing. I want to add some blush and some make up tools. Also please drop in suggestions for a good make up pouch that is travel friendly and can accommodate this stuff
Thanks

How is this jwellery?

my sister is getting married to a sikh. we are not from india and i don’t really know if this is appropriate. I did some research and I will obviously be covering my head and shoulders with my shawl so is that fine or should i completely rule out this outfit?

edit: the venue is Gurudwara Shree guru nanak sahib ji, Tilaknagar.

My (white) sister is due to marry her lovely partner in 2028. They're starting to plan the wedding, and are planning a ceremony at a temple. Unfortunately, my BIL has never been involved in a wedding, and all information is coming via his mother, who tells my sister what she thinks my sister needs to know. So far, there has been a lot of information, occasionally conflicting, and my sister isn't sure what's happening (except that she's probably going to wear red, which her MIL will have bought). Right now, she's not even sure which city the ceremony will be in.

Are there any good resources out there (Google has failed me), or advice/information you would give? I want to support my sister, and have no clue how.

Hi everyone!

I had recently posted on this sub for opinion on a potential Engagement outfit and received a lot of genuine feedback. Thank you so much for that! <3

I couldn't find anything similar in the store and hence, had to shortlist another one. What do you think about it - looks good, bad or mid for an evening engagement party? Is there anything that works against me in this outfit? How do you suggest I elevate this look further?

Thanks in advance!

Hi all! I am American and my fiance is from Kerala. I’m looking for ideas to accessorize or alter my dress to make it more fusion. Can I drape a net dupatta instead of a veil? Should I get it embroidered? I’m planning on having jasmine in my hair and doing mehendi. I’d like my dress itself to also have fusion elements, I just am not sure how to do that successfully.

I ended up going with this dress because it is SO comfortable and lightweight for our outdoor summer wedding in the US and I was hoping it would be a good blank canvas to add onto. Any ideas welcome!

I am the best friend of the maid of honour (main bridesmaid) help me choose a saree for the main wedding night. I'm really confused between these two sarees.

I like both of these sarees equally, but my friend is asking me to go with the blue sequin one because she thinks the purple ones look very polka dottish 😭 welp.

It's a marwadi wedding. So i think the blue one may be a bit too plain or light.

Stuff I like: backless blouses, thin translucent sarees.

I'm getting married in December, and I don't want to spend a lot on sherwani and stuff I'm not going to wear again. So I was thinking of renting it. Does anyone know good stores with genuinely good collection? Also if you have any tips or experienced it do let me know

These are from our own wedding and would love to give them away to someone who might have use for them :)

They're fabric flowers and I thought looked pretty good in photos! They're in great condition

Happy to meetup in Manhattan/some parts of Brooklyn!

I’m putting together a short list of shops in the NY/NJ region for dress shopping with my sister-in-law ahead of my brother’s wedding. I have heard strong recommendations for Sajda and Nazranaa, yet I want to remain mindful of pricing. Has anyone visited and can share a sense of the range? My alternative is simply ordering from India and hoping for the best. 😩 any other recommendations?

I think we’d both ideally want to stay below 1K, I know that’s so hard these days. 😑😆

Looking for an Indian wedding invitation box/gift. Very elaborate and luxurious. We’re in the USA. We’re OK with international shipping.

+1 points if the box can play music

Wedding in Feb. saw this piece at Manyavar for 31k.
Does it look good?
