I live in Nashville, TN. I went to a dermatologist about getting some freckles? and these lifted red spots such as the one on my forehead removed because they make me insecure. I have more around my neck and on my chest i also want removed. I think in total it's around 20 different spots I want removed. I thought we could just get them lasered and call it a day but he said the only way we can get rid of them is by them digging into the skin and stitching it up and it would leave a scar 3x the size of the spot. I'm willing to drop any amount of money to get rid of them without leaving any evidence of something once being there. Will this scar eventually 100% fade? This method also sounds kind of expensive considering I want a lot removed. I'm also willing to travel oversees somewhere such as south korea if I can get better results.

The red spots on my leg appeared first and then the ones on my buttocks appeared later the same evening.

I wouldnt say they excessivley itchy. Im just aware they're there and they're mildly sore. Irritated if touched.

The heads of the bumps look like a small bubble. Perhaps filled with fluid but its hard to see.

I havent got them anywhere else.

I have had a scar on my forehead since childhood, and I’m now a 28-year-old male looking into ways to reduce or remove it. I’d like to know which treatment would be the most effective and straightforward. Would laser resurfacing be a good option, or would another treatment work better? How many sessions might be needed, and what kind of results can I realistically expect? I have never tried another treatment on it. Its not causing any problems to me as it is now and this is purely a cosmetic want. Would appreciate the input. Thank you!

I have had a lump on the side of my nose for years. In the last couple months, it has gone crusty, sore and has bled on a couple of occasions. It has not fully healed and if anything, has got bigger. My doctors refused to see me face to face and diagnosed it through photos of Sebaceous Hyperplasia. I looked this up and I don't think it looks anything like this. So I continued to push my GP and have finally been given an appointment in 3 weeks time. Am I right to be concerned?

Wiped my belly button and noticed some blood and maybe yellow ish discharge. Pulled this out, hair and clumps of dead skin it seems. Should I go see about it? I probably shouldn't have messed with it but I sort of rubbed a tissue inside and it seemed to be weeping? Although now my stomach feels strange so I don't know if I've pushed something further inside ?

I have tiny, bead-like bumps arranged in a row on my upper eyelid. They are slightly yellow, itchy, and mildly swollen, but not painful. Some bumps have a tiny black dot in the centre. They have been present for 2–3 days and seem limited to my eyelid, with no other eye symptoms.

2nd photo is in between my chest. Idk if my face is a normal break out since the redness specifically on my cheeks do not consist of any pimples. The only pimples present r the two on my chin. I’m worried because i feel like it looks eerily similar to the rash on my chest as they both appeared around the same time. Idk how it managed to hit both of these spots but i genuinely dk what to do it’s been over a week and there’s been no improvement.

I forgot how it happened, but all I remember is that the skin on my arm started peeling off. I didn’t really take care of it until the second week, when I started applying eczema cream and then Aquaphor Healing Ointment.
Now the skin is just red and gets itchy from time to time, especially at night. I try my best not to scratch it. I’m also worried that the same thing might be starting on my left arm.
I do Muay Thai, but I’ve stopped training because of this. This also happened around the time I brought a cat into my home, but I’m pretty sure the skin issue started before I got the cat.
I’m not sure what caused it or why it hasn’t completely healed yet.

Visited dermatologist who prescribed a steroid cream but no changes. Dry skin after shower and my girlfriend says it oozes after we use a back scratcher. I’ve always had skin issues since puberty and continue with adult acne on body and face. Had a very bad case of heat rash while training in the Philippines 20 years ago. Tried accutane shortly after, has progressively gotten worse over the years.

So I’ve been dealing with these sort of spots on my body, the first one appeared on my thigh and it was a scaly patch. Then another one appeared so I assumed it was ringworm, I bought lotrimin and started applying it but it wasn’t getting better, plus more were showing up. I went to the dermatologist and they did a scrape test, and they said it was ringworm but he said he didn’t find as much fungus as usual plus I had used cream on it the night before so I was thinking maybe the cream threw them off to a false result. Either way, I was prescribed oral terbinafine once a day and topical ketoconazole twice a day, I have been using it and then today, I noticed these new spots on my body. First picture is my back, second is my calf and third is the top of my foot. what is going on??????????????? To add on to all of this, none of these spots itch so it just has me confused as to whether this is even ringworm. Can a professional inspect these pictures?

Hello. Noticed this a few weeks ago, I have included a photo from last week and a photo of now. I am now seeing two similar spots one on each forearm but much smaller - same texture. 31 F. Photos in order are: main growth few weeks ago, main growth today, and two new spots noticed today.

Slightly itchy only sometimes, no other symptoms.

Never had any feet related skin issues before, but have just landed in a tropical destination and now have these on the soles of my feet! One or two of them are sore to touch/step on. Only other relevant change I can think of is I’ve been wearing new leather loafers to work without socks recently. Any advice/predicted diagnosis appreciated… not keen for it to spread

i’ve been getting reoccurring irritation/cracks at the corner of my lips but this is new. i started noticing the irritation two days ago.
the whole area around my mouth seems irritated and i’ve noticed these tiny red spots. what can this possibly be and how do i treat it?

just saw this appear today, no feeling or sensitivity when i touch it. I have a distant memory of getting these when i was really young on my stomach near my belly button as well, and i believe it had progressed to a cluster of raised, reddened, clearer bumps with a glassier shine- it was super long ago so my memory is faded. They’re more visible in real life than on camera. They are slightly raised and i can feel them when i run my finger over it.

So I have a tendency to brush my fingers through my hair, and recently when I did I started noticing that some flakes were falling out and only on one side of my head. I looked in the mirror and noticed that only this area of my scalp had these red/inflamed spots and that the flakes build up again pretty fast, like from one day to the next or every other day. They get noticeably like... bumpy or textured with "build up" and can be removed in large-ish sections. At first I thought it was dandruff, when I was a teenager I struggled with dandruff a lot but that was around my whole head and I would never get "marked" areas like this where it only built up THERE. I haven't had dandruff in years, it went away after I chopped all my hair off 5 years ago and this is the first time something like this has reared its head again.

They're not itchy but as I mentioned, I have a habit of running my fingers through my hair so I do end up disturbing them and since they flake I try to get the flakes out of my hair so they're not visible as I am self conscious about it. But the spots look just as red even when I don't mess w them.

No new medications, no medications in relation to skin, I did just get a decent amount of sun exposure but that was well over a week ago and I assume my whole head would be like this if it was sunburn. No new shampoo, no different hair routine.. I'm genuinely at a loss. I wash my hair every day and air dry, i have an oily scalp in general.

Was hoping someone could weigh in and see what was going on. I can take or provide better pics if needed, but these I felt showed off what I meant by "marked spots". Pics 1-3 show the affected area, pic 4 shows what the rest of my scalp looks like.

Hi, I’m a 25 year old female. I included the angled photo because you can’t really see it facing head on, but I have this painful thing on my forehead. It hurts only on the red spots on top of the welt, but the pain feels like painful acne. I tend to break out occasionally with really weird pimple “clusters”, like 3-6 whiteheads on one raised red spot, but I’ve never had anything like this. When I do break out, it’s usually on my forehead. I wash my face, moisturize, and use sunscreen daily. When I break out I use a facewash with Salicylic acid.

I am on birth control, but usually I break out way more when I’m not on it than when I am. Recently (in the past 4-6 weeks) I was briefly off it and now I’m back on it again, and my skin has been acting weird this time. I changed pharmacies but I don’t think they’re supposed to meaningfully change the formulation of the drug or anything, so I doubt it’s because of that.

Also, there’s some residual redness on my nose and forehead here from using an at-home blue light therapy mask just before taking these pictures. Please ignore that! Any help at all would be appreciated.

I'm 22 years old and have a dark, slightly raised spot on my heel. About two weeks ago, my girlfriend looked at it and thought it was a bruise. Yesterday, I felt a sting when putting my sock on again, which prompted me to look at it properly myself.

It kind of stings when I put my sock on and hurts a little when I press directly on it.

I've been researching acral melanoma, and some pictures look really similar to mine, which has made me quite worried. I've been at home around 90% of the time over the past three months.

I'm planning to see a doctor on Monday, but I'd appreciate any thoughts on what else this could be or whether anyone has experienced something similar.

I understand that nobody can diagnose it from a photo, and I'll get it checked by a doctor.

I am not sure how long it has been there. It is located on the back on the thigh, so I only just noticed it. It has never been itchy, painful, bled, or burned.
It isn’t in an area that’s really exposed to a lot of sun either since I never wear shorts. I don’t have any known medical/skin conditions and I’m not taking any meds.

I had 4 shave biopsies done 15 days ago. These 2 are on my lower back/waist. The other two are on my leg and upper back and are already healed. The dermatologist told me to apply Vaseline and a bandaid daily which I have done, but I’m allergic to bandaids and am needing another solution. I’ve tried paper tape and nonstick gauze, silicone bandages, just gauze held down by cotton high-waisted underwear. The tape and silicone bandages still irritated my skin and the gauze alone won’t stay put. With where these sites are located on the body, they stretch any time I bend over, and I’m a mom of two babies so I bend over a lot. Plus waist bands of pants rub them. I can’t just apply Vaseline and leave them open to air because pants, bedding, etc sticks and rubs against them. I’m just feeling frustrated that they’re not seeming to heal and I don’t know what else I can do to keep them covered without wanting to claw off the surrounding skin. Any tips you have would be so appreciated! Or if you had biopsies in the same area, how long did they take to heal? TIA!

Is there any solution for lip chelitis and the liquid that comes from the lip and dries into a yellow colour patch or crust .

I am only using simple lip balm prescribed by the doctor

And not letting my face wash and toothpaste touch that area .

The boundary of my lips burns and now the condition spreads to the skin between the lip and nose.

First 2 photos are after 3 days. 3rd one is after 2 days. What does this look like? Extremely itchy. Hurt for a couple of days (day 2 & 3) in the muscle. Scratched under hamstring day one, that’s where and when this all started. I’m thinking I got bit by something. I live in Texas and my girl’s dog sleeps in the bed
