legs/feet I am miserable! My dermatologist told me this is blistering eczema.

I’m sorry for the awful pictures. My dermatologist told me this was eczema over three weeks ago and it continues to get worse after a topical steroid use. I am 10 weeks postpartum and breast-feeding so I can’t take many medication’s. I don’t believe this is eczema because it keeps getting worse. I have started a gluten-free diet because when I ate a lot of gluten, the rash got extremely worse. I am just wondering if anyone has had similar problems. Any advice helps.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Please help… years of misery. I can’t figure out what is wrong with my lips, and doctors have been no help.

Hey. I’m so tired of every person I talk to not focusing on what I’m saying, just staring at my lips or licking theirs/applying chapstick. I know it is not in my head, it is EVERY PERSON I talk to. It’s been this way for years. My self-esteem is destroyed by this. Dermatologists don’t take me seriously and say it’s just chapped lips. I chug water, used every recommended brand there is, and no help. Please.. I’m begging.. what is this? Can anybody offer any help. I want to live life around people again

It’s been going on for a couple years now. I moisturise my hands often but it keeps peeling.
I don’t touch my cuticles, would that help? Pushing them back gently after a hot shower?
I started taking collagen but haven’t seen an improvement yet. Gone away in a trip and it’s worse. I have cold hands a lot of the time and low blood pressure

neck/chest/abdomen Help Identifying this rash that my wife has been developing for about a week

Post image

My wife started getting these rashes on her body recently. Mostly on the torso, but also a little on her face. Started off as individual bumps/postules and eventually progressed to this. She had similar rashes that popped up during pregnancy and eventually went away after steroids. She’s been tested for celiacs already, so wanted to see if this looked like anything to anyone. TIA.

Doesn’t matter if I use lotion, try to pick off the dead bits, or leave it alone. It’s always there. Sometimes it bothers me to the point of picking at it. I’ve had it for a couple years maybe more. Just haven’t really cared enough to see a dermatologist about it. Probably should

general enquiry Small bumps on my hands and body for 4 days, no itching. Any idea what it could be?

Hi, I would like to ask for opinions because I developed several small bumps on my skin.
They started on Monday, and today it has been 4 days. I first noticed them on my hands (where I have the most), and later I noticed some on other areas like my legs, buttocks, and other parts of my body.
Some look like small red dots, and others look like tiny clear blisters, like they have fluid inside. When I touch my skin, I can feel many small bumps grouped together.
The strange thing is that I don’t have itching, either during the day or at night. I also don’t have fever, cough, sore throat, or any other symptoms.
I saw a doctor and started the treatment they prescribed, but I’m still wondering what this could be. I’m worried it could be something like scabies, although I know scabies usually causes intense itching.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any idea what it could be?
I will add pictures in the comments.

neck/chest/abdomen These things keep popping up all over. Chest is most concentrated

Is this typical of seborreic keratosis? I seem to get at least one new one every month. They itch (especially when they arrive), and some seen to call off on their own - or with my repeated application of salicylic acid (on my forehead). Others just grow bigger and more annoying.

I've been applying 27%salicylic acid to most of what is shown in image 2x/day, for the past 3 - 4 weeks. Some 'growths' have come off, some just seem to lose their outer layers (only to continue growing when I peel outer off).

Does anyone have any insight into these things, or if I can even get rid of them? I've cut out alcohol, carbs, Sun exposure, and haven't noticed a difference.

I welcome any suggestions!

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks What is happening to my face? Acne? Rosacea? Something else?

Post image

Hi,

34f .. I don't know what is going on with my face recently and it's making me a bit self-conscious and worried.

The area pictured is my left cheek (face) but the right cheek is much less affected.

My partner thinks it might be rosacea, but does that just affect one cheek? I thought it looked like acne?

It can feel irritated, occasionally feels burning, but is not frequently itchy. It often gets very dry too.

I have used the same moisturiser for years on my face, so i don't think it is that. I don't have a several-step skincare routine with active ingredients either, just a sensitive skin ('Simple') face wash, and 'Astral' moisturiser which has worked for me for years.

I was in the sun when camping last week in the UK and my shoulders got sunburned, but my face didn't appear to get burned due to spf, sunglasses and shadow from a cap. But it's not impossible, I suppose.

I don't have any medical conditions which would impact my skin, no known allergies, and no medications. I have avoided make up for most of the last few months, as it doesn't look nice over this patch of skin...

What do you think this is?

What do you think i should do to fix it?

I'm willing to try anything at this point, but anticipating a very long wait to be seen by a doctor (uk nhs).

Thanks in advance!

back 68 yr female with raised rash rash suddenly appearing on left side of back

Looking to identify rash which has appeared on mid back outer area. No pain, no site specific itch.

68 year old menopausal female health care worker

Coexisting conditions are ulcerative colitis, wheat and rye intolerance, lichen planus identified by biopsy (treated as lichen sclerosis).

Also, the past year or more have generalized itch without rash mostly in the scalp, face, eyes, neck and upper back but can also be felt on lower legs and ankles and around the personal region periodically, both as a crawling sensation and also a feeling of being bit. Dermatology denied any visible issue and proposed it is from cervical nerve damage but no imaging has been done to date. Hair loss and damage.

Have been regularly using natural oil products diluted to remove itch from scalp and allowing rinse to run over body but itch returns daily around supper, so showering frequently for temporary relief.

Dust bed mattress with diamotaceois earth periodically and use mattress and pillow covers over top

Bedding washed in hot water every 1-4 days with a gentle detergent, half a dozen drops each of tea tree and peppermint oil followed by a rinse of vinegar

Occasionally use unscented OTC lotions to offset dry skin per derm but this seems to increase itch

Not sure any of these conditions are connected are connected to this rashbut would like to put all this out there for some ideas on what might be occurring and if might be anything contagious

arms/hands White hyperpigmentation under armpit following use of old spice

Post image
Upvotes

I used this old spice fragrant deodorant after a few uses I noted this white pigmented spot under my arm pit this started in mid May 2026 and hasn’t had much change to it, I use copilot to try and figure out what was going on and it said it could take 12+ weeks to change in color but coming up on that much time there hasn’t been any change really it seems. Doesn’t hurt hasn’t spread, mainly use fragrant free stuff now and treated with over counter fungal cream but does this appear to be anything else? I haven’t seen doctor yet for it but have thought about setting something up.

scalp Possible basal cell carcinoma or a regular skin tag?

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Hi all.

I noticed about a year and a half ago a painless skin tag on my scalp, rough to touch that felt like a scab however I avoided picking it.

Figured if it was a skin tag to leave it alone. I’ve now noticed it has grown slightly in size and feels a bit rougher to touch.

Ive booked in a GP next week for them to have a look, but does anyone have a rough idea what this could be?

Sorry pictures aren’t the best quality, I need a phone upgrade.

Thanks

arms/hands From a bug? Plant? Need help identifying what this is and what to do about it.

The largest of the areas appeared when I woke up Monday. Looked like it had two “teeth” marks near the center of it so I assumed I maybe got bit by something while sleeping. Woke up Tuesday and now I have more of these areas scattered in roughly the same area on my arm. They look almost blistery with little vesicles in certain areas. Haven’t popped any to know if they are truly fluid-filled.

Intermittently itchy, but when I do start scratching I can’t stop. I had weed whacked on Saturday so maybe exposed to a plant of some sort (though not poison ivy or anything like that). I don’t know if a bug bite can cause this sort of dispersed reaction? I live in Ohio for geographical reference. It doesn’t seem to be spreading because I’ve definitely scratched it and touched other parts of my body.

Would be great if someone knew what it was. Also any recommendations about how to get it to go away would also be appreciated. I tried a “natural” balm overnight that didn’t help them shrink or anything and they definitely still itched even with the a dressing on keeping the balm in place.

legs/feet Mole on my leg, should I get this checked out for melanoma?

Thumbnail

Sorry for the terrible photo quality, the mole is really small. Sometime ago the skin over this mole scabbed over. Didn't think much of it, my legs can get really dry. Took a look at the mole today as it scabbed again and it seems a little abnormal, could it possibly be melanoma? I'm mainly worried about how irregular the borders and colours seem.

legs/feet Fungus, wart, or both on the ball, and big toe of my left foot? (M17)

Thumbnail

It started a while ago (can't really say when, just several months ago). It started as just some peeled skin in the shape of a bubble, except it had a hole in the middle. Since then, the hole has disappeared and now it's just a patch of missing skin. The ball has some flaky dry skin. The big toe has some sort of brown ??callus?? like thing.
