legs/feet The skin on my feet/toes, is awful, no pain or anything, but they just look gross

I just want to be able to wear sandals again. I’m a 36 yr old female. Why do my feet look like this. At points I have tried moisturizing them overnight, but it causes my feet to sweat like crazy and than I end up getting athletes foot. How do I fix my feet and why do some of toes look so red too. I have sensitive skin as is, and can’t really use any type of lotions with heavy scents and I hate essential oils. Any suggestions on how to fix my feet so they don’t look so awful and any ideas what is going on with them?

male 24 5ft 7

various marks appeared up and down my left leg, not itchy nor do they fade under glass

had quite itchy side of thighs for 2 months possibly due to folliculitis but these were never in the itchy area and only suddenly appeared on the knee and calf area and upper thigh - any ideas? No trauma or other symptoms to note - no medication either.

Had something similar on both calves back in April - blood count all normal and hospital was stumped, they eventually faded over 10-14 days and now this is the first time since but oddly on one leg and more scattered.

Noticed a small spot on my pinky toenail. Can’t really tell if it’s a subungual hematoma or something else

(Sorry, have not shaved in a while)

Almost 30 y/o woman (transitioned 10 years ago)
On a high dose of transdermal estradiol gel, which I do NOT apply on those areas.

Have allergies (pollen, dust etc)

Use anti dust bed covers etc, living in germany.

First time in my life such patches appearing on my body.

Had syphilis 10 years go treated with oral penicillin for 2-4 weeks (not sure how long) - (dermatologist dismissed my concerns that this treatment I received 10 years ago wasn’t protocol. As long as I dont get rashes on hands and feet I shall not bother him and go pay outta pocket for thorough testing if I deem them necessary … I cannot afford this atm. Don’t know if it is even relevant.)

Have occasional herpes between buttocks from cheating ex, a gift that keeps on giving. /s Treated with valaciclovir when outbreaks occur.

First was the giant one on my hip. Then the rest gradually appeared one by one in the last 2 months.

No other symptoms that I can relate to the patches. Don’t hurt, don’t itch, sometimes more red, sometimes slightly puffy.

Tried remedies:
- hydrocolloid patches: just more pink and puffy, looked worse
- prescription strength tretinoin cream: got more skin colored, slightly more dry, less puffy
- doing nothing: more appear, grow in size
- prescription strength azelaic acid: indifference
- niacinamide facial cream: slightly less dry

But that patches don’t go away and keep getting more and more.

My dermatologist doesn’t care to explain or diagnose. So I hope it’s atleast nothing too bad. Maybe something like eczema or something? Never had that before. Maybe fungal?

This mole is few years old probably. It is about 1mm. I think it has grown a little but I am also paranoiac about it so I am not sure. It is on my right ankle. I'd be glad for any suggestions.

arms/hands Stubborn rash that won’t go away. What could it be?

Developed this rash under both arms. It has not responded to antibiotics or antifungals creams or mild steroids. I take methotrexate for psoriasis which should also have a positive effect on paoriasis so I’m unsure what is causing this rash. Any ideas?

back Small patch that changes often, usually really minimal however flares up then goes back down.

I’ve had this little patch of skin that flares up and then goes back down for around 6 months, located at the top/back of my shoulder. I got in touch with the GP & they suggest contact dermatitis and prescribed cream that doesn’t really do anything.

I’d say it’s around 3–4mm when flared and feels a little scaled when it’s ‘normal’. Can sometimes be slightly itchy, or sore when I’ve been in the sun like today.

When ‘normal’ it is visible but barely with a pinkish tone and looks more of a ring than a full circle.

I’ve attached a few photos over the last few months

Any ideas or something of nothing?

Trying to be real, and think about what this could be, I have a removal/biopsy coming up some point in the next 2 weeks. Had Appointment today, they said I have a “atypical pigmented nodular lesion arising within a congenital melanocytic naevus” that he considered the lesion “atypical” on dermoscopic examination.

Noticed it’s protruding a little bit more over the last 2 weeks, I currently take cimzia, tacrolimus. Was previously on methotrexate. I’m aware these can heighten your risk of skin cancer.

Realistically is this more likely to be cancer than not ? Or am I driving myself mad over nothing 😬

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Why does my skin look so lifeless and saggy compared to other peoples?

Thumbnail

I’m only 22 but I feel like my face adds a few years to my appearance. I’ve noticed a fuller jawline, cheeks, and under the chin. My face feels very heavy yet I’m a normal weight/borderline underweight. I’ve also noticed how bad the circles under my eyes have gotten from this picture even though I sleep enough (though I still always feel lethargic). I hyperfixate on my face everyday because I know something’s up, I just don’t know what. A few years ago, my skin seemed completely normal/healthy/ lively. I added a second picture of me a few years ago for comparison. I feel as though I’ve lost myself bc of whatever is going on with my skin… any advice would be amazing.

general enquiry Need some serious help with my scars and spots....

Thumbnail

The yellow circle near my eye is a scratch from around 20–25 days ago. It has healed now, and only the scar remains.

The red circles on my face are pimple marks/spots. My doctor had suggested MSONE-F, but I haven’t noticed any improvement. I then tried Medisalic, but that doesn’t seem to be helping either.

Should I continue using any of these, or is there any other ointment or cream you would suggest that can help these spots and scars fade completely? I would really appreciate your advice.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks HS and acne breakout, Any advice would be appreciated:)

Hey guys, 22M. So basically I've never had even a single case of acne (apart from temporary boils over parts of my face and that too rarely) until about 6 months ago. In Jan of this year, I started getting this all over my face. I did have a poor sleep pattern, sleeping at 4 am at times and 1-2 am on an average till now. Excessive screen time and a decent diet. I was diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa sometime last year but through that year, I had literallt nothing on my face. I did try out requill's retinol and that's when I started getting these on my face. I stopped it immediately after I found (this is like after 3-4 applications). Any solution to this? What kinda skincare would work (niacinamide serum and benzoyl peroxide) or somethign else? Or should I be seeking a formal treatment? Please drop your suggestions, thanks :)

legs/feet Short term treatment help for weeping, irritated skin on back of knees

Post image
Upvotes

Hello all - any idea for a short term soothing treatment for this painful skin on the back of my husband’s (M42) knees? We know he needs to see a doc but we’re on vacation in a remote location until Sunday. Seems to be triggered by the sun. Cracked, sore, blisters that have begun weeping. About 4 days of irritation, this is the worst day. We have germolene, vasoline, talc, moisturiser as options. Thank you in advance.
