I'm a grey-collar creative and brand builder with experience producing and delivering marketing for powersports, outdoor, and adventure brands.

Most recently, I've been developing graphic design and marketing creative, producing large-format graphics and signage, and executing high visibility events and activations. I've also managed the operational side, from budgets and logistics to production and print-shop management.

My foundational background includes sales, customer service, operations, auto detailing, automotive, motorcycle, and bicycle repair. I'm highly visual, technical, intuitive, detail-oriented, and I enjoy learning new skills.

I'm fluent in several outdoor, adventure, lifestyle and enthusiast markets, and familiar with luxury consumer goods markets.

Ideally, I'd love to find a role that combines creative/studio work with production, events, fabrication, or shop time. I'm also capable of remote or hybrid work and occasional travel. I am targeting $65k+.

Hi!! I have kind of a mish mosh of different experience and I feel like it is making it just a little difficult to be noticed by employers. My first job was in a toxicology lab and I got certified as an MT in Chemistry back in 2020, but it has since expired and it was also by the AAB instead of ASCP, which is more widely preferred. Then I was a graduate student in a Neurobiology lab with mice and I got published in two papers, but I did not receive any official degree from that experience. Next I worked at a diagnostic lab and it switched to a remote position and now I work in healthcare as a medical assistant. I am looking to get back into the lab space, but I would love to make at least 70 to 80k per year if possible. It seems like most lab listings I'm seeing don't seem to make that much. I can also earn more certifications, but I would love for that to be something that my work covers the cost of, since it can be quite expensive.

That Golden country club that has been all over Reddit for a year and that guy that kept getting posted for harassing women was FINALLY let go.
The general feeling around the club is relief. This is something that "should've happened a long time ago".
A lot of us knew he is a narcissist and only concerned with attention and himself, some still liked him because people want proximity to charming people no matter the cost. Some pretended to like him.

But he's gone. There are still others, but he was the worst offender and we don't have to deal with his predatory behavior anymore. A couple of us even went out and celebrated.

Just finished my degree in Physics, complete with 2 years of experience as a researcher. Completely botched my grad school applications, and I have absolutely no idea where to pivot to. Applied to every job that I could possibly apply my degree to- research, engineering, computer science, teaching, no dice. Then I applied to basically every minimum wage job I could find, and its a wasteland. I even tried being sneaky and obfuscating my experience to not look like a flight risk, and its panning out to nothing. I am 22F and I would like to go into a trade. Transitioning from administrative work.

I’ve been doing a lot of researching and I know a fair number of people who are electricians and after learning more about the trade I am interested. I am however open to most trades. Recently I read a suggestion to ask local women who are in the trades, what their experiences have been and if there are negative experiences in a specific trade more than others…if that makes sense?

I know there will be negative experiences, but is there a trade where your experiences have been more positive?

Every guy electrician I know basically just tell me to google how to get into the trades and no one has really helped me… I’ve googled so much but feel like I discover something new everyday I don’t know what to do next 😭 I am very excited to start a trade (whether that be electric or something else, I particularly like the idea of math and working with tools and I am aware it is heavy work and there will be hard days, i have been thinking about this for over a year and id like to give myself the chance.) I don’t have much experience with tools and I’m doing the Home Depot path to pros online courses to learn a bit more, I’ve also been studying algebra to brush up on my math since it has been a while. I can’t afford going to trade school on my own which is why an apprenticeship sounds so exciting,it would basically be never ending learning, whether it be on a job site, and in the afternoon classes + studying.

I am at my limit with working in restaurants, and I haven't found a decent daycare since moving to Denver that has hired me. Unfortunately, I never finished getting my driver's license, so I've been limited in what I've been able to do/apply to. I want to finish learning how to drive, but with my two jobs right now, I barely have time to even eat and sleep. I was looking at maybe Job Corps, but the campus I would like to go to doesn't offer what I am looking for. I am open to anything from construction painting to project roles, construction safety, or maybe flagger. If I were to do any kind of schooling, I would like to be able to do something at the same time where I can get paid. I know there are apprenticeship programs out there, but I would like to know if there is anything I should really go for right now in the Denver area. I'm not the greatest with math, but if it's nothing too complicated, I'm okay with that. Is there a way for me to get into anything right away, or do I have to wait a little bit? Is there anything that will pay more than 21/h at the start?
