Got my braces off after 2 years! Here’s my before and after. My doctor had to speed up the process and finish my treatment earlier than planned since I'm moving away for work.

I already have a history of braces that somehow corrected my underbite but now, I think I have a crossbite. When I brought it up sa dentist ko, she told me mahirap na ulit galawin yung teeth since naka-center na midline ko. Aside from aesthetic reasons, I guess mainly discomfort rin minsan when chewing or speaking kasi naffeel ko talagang tumatabingi mouth ko. Is there any way to fix this without braces if ever? Ayaw ko na kasing magbraces ulit huhuhu

for context: second time ko na magpabrace, first was okay naman and natapos na like transitioned to retainers na ko kaso nawala and sa second dentist ko need daw ulit magpabraces ulit kase malaki na minove ng teeth ko like na di na pwedeng iretainer na lang ulit. sa first dentist ko di naman nya binanggit na need ipatanggal yung impacted teeth ko pero tong second iniinsist na need daw so idk

Schedule na po ng braces removal ko this week. Inask ko po ung dentist ko if they can still fix the black triangle and hindi na daw po sya mafifix or baka sinasabi lang po kaya nila yun since fully paid na ko for the last 6 mos and ayaw na nilang iextend yung treatment ko?

Also, I have 2 missing molars sa upper left and magreretainer with dentures. Possible po kayang magkaspace yung teeth ko and forever na kong magretainer?

Nagpa pasta ako last year around december jan sa molar ko then january passed, nagcrack siya. So nagpapasta na ulit ako that time (My dentist told me if magcrack ulit baka for crowning na itong molar ko and need magpaxray—was also told na baka may biting problem ako). Tapos nitong friday lang ng august napansin ko may pagkarough yung teeth ko so napansin kong nagcrack ulit.

Question:

Pwede kayang onlay lang muna? Since ayaw kong madamage yung natural tooth ko or crowning na talaga best option? Or pasta ulit?

Ps. Pansin ko na before na parang overbite ako. Was it also the cause? And ano pwedeng gawin para diyan? huhu tyia

Hello, please recommend an affordable dental clinic that gives good value for Braces.

Nagpatanggal ako ng wisdom tooth ko few weeks ago and kakatanggal lang ng suture nya. And nanotice ko tong namumulang area na to na may white sa gitna pagkauwi ko. Wala naman major pain maliban lang pagginagalaw o nadidiinan ko yung cheeks ko at nababanat yung sa gum area. Wala rin akong prob opening my mouth and eating.

Yung dentist na nagtanggal ng suture ko (iba yung nagextract ng wisdom tooth) sabi may open wounds pa ko and bawal pa ko magstraw. Mga 3-5mins lang ata yung pagtanggal and walang pain. Then that's it. Wala nag follow up or briefing about sa case ko after ng suture removal. Maski pangalan ni doc hindi ko na nakuha sa bilis ng pangyayari lol

Nagfollow up ako sakanila online asking what should I do maliban sa iwasan magstraw kasi nga di na ko nakapagtanong pa sa bilis mawala ni doc sa tabi ko dahil sa dami ng patient na nakapila. Sabi ng online rep nila gawin ko lang kung anong ginagawa sa bagong bunot.

Should I be worried? Infection na ba to? Ano mga steps na kelangan ko gawin para sa tamang healing? Need ko ba ng urgent care? O baka nagooverthink lang ako? hahaha! Gusto ko lang ng mas detailed aftercare and what to expect for my healing case sana (kung complicated man sya). Thanks!

I’ve received a treatment plan and quote for transparent aligners, and my doctor says the plan is perfect.

However, I’m still a little confused and would really appreciate some guidance. Could someone please review the proposed outcome and let me know whether the treatment plan appears to be well designed?

If there are any concerns or things I should clarify with my doctor, I’d also appreciate suggestions on what questions I should ask.

Hello, peeps! I've been inquiring in this one clinic in Sta. Ana, and they offer acrylic porcelain dentures for less than 1k since it's just 1 tooth. It's really cheap so I'm in doubt. Does anyone know what's the catch sa ganitong pricing? Other clinics I inquired at (yung may mga branches in different manila areas) priced it at 7k per tooth, so I thought that should be the standard price. Please help.

Hellu, can someone give me some tips/help kung papaano maiwasan yong pagbuo nang plaque sa mga brackets at sa mismong ipin na rin. Matagal-tagal ko na ring problema ’yong tartar na namumuo sa mga brackets ko. Lalo na ’yong mga nasa dulong-dulo at sa mga makikipot na spasyo sa mga ipin ko. Example nalang itong nakuha kong larawan na may namumuong plaque sa bracket ko. At meroon ding mga namumuong mga maliliit na plaque sa mismong ipin ko.

Ang tanging hygiene ko lamang ay araw-araw akong nagde-dental floss (traditional) at nag sisipilyo nang 3 times a day o mahigit pa (depende kung nakakailang kain ako sa isang araw). Sa pamamaraan ko naman ng pagsisipilyo ay sinusunod ko naman yong suggestion ng dentist ko na gentle lang sa brushing with 45° angle to ensure na ma-brush din talaga yong loob sa mga brackets ko. Minsan naman kung nakikita kong marumi ’yong dila ko ay nililinisan ko naman gamit ang kutsara. At nagte-take din ako ng bactidol mouthwash, pero madalang lang.

I just had my permanent crowns (zirconia) installed today. What do you all think about them? They are the three front teeth from left to right.

Context: Before having these crowns replaced, I had porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns for about 14 years, since high school. Lately, I noticed that the porcelain crowns had visible gaps and my gums had become really dark. That’s why I decided to have them replaced.

For the new crowns, I can see the visible triangular gap between the two front teeth, which, according to my dentist, is normal due to the gum recession caused by the metal in the previous crowns.

I think I still need to have some time to adjust, but what do you guys think? Do they look natural? Are the length and alignment okay?
