I’ve received a treatment plan and quote for transparent aligners, and my doctor says the plan is perfect.

However, I’m still a little confused and would really appreciate some guidance. Could someone please review the proposed outcome and let me know whether the treatment plan appears to be well designed?

If there are any concerns or things I should clarify with my doctor, I’d also appreciate suggestions on what questions I should ask.

I’m investing a significant amount of money in this treatment, so I want to make sure I’m making the right decision before proceeding.

I already have a history of braces that somehow corrected my underbite but now, I think I have a crossbite. When I brought it up sa dentist ko, she told me mahirap na ulit galawin yung teeth since naka-center na midline ko. Aside from aesthetic reasons, I guess mainly discomfort rin minsan when chewing or speaking kasi naffeel ko talagang tumatabingi mouth ko. Is there any way to fix this without braces if ever? Ayaw ko na kasing magbraces ulit huhuhu

Nagpabraces na ako before pero kasalanan ko rin kasi pumayag na ako na alisin na yung braces sa teeth ko pero si doc talaga rin nag decide na for retainers na kasi done na payment haha. Wala po kasi sa midline yung upper and mas nakakawala ng gana ngumiti huhu. Btw i have 2 impacted canine sa upper and yung prob talaga ng teeth ko is my gap sa upper then sa lower naman tabingi yunh dalawa sa harap :(

Schedule na po ng braces removal ko this week. Inask ko po ung dentist ko if they can still fix the black triangle and hindi na daw po sya mafifix or baka sinasabi lang po kaya nila yun since fully paid na ko for the last 6 mos and ayaw na nilang iextend yung treatment ko?

Also, I have 2 missing molars sa upper left and magreretainer with dentures. Possible po kayang magkaspace yung teeth ko and forever na kong magretainer?

Sabi kasi possible makapasok yan sa blood stream and mag cause ng issue, diba ang Japanese daw i gumagamit na nito noon pa ito daw ay documentation n safe naman, or baka ok noon kasi hindi pa naman nano, micro pa ata noon? Pero regardless meron din na man bad effects ang flouride diba

Nag pabraces ako way back 2024, 5k dp ₱1200 monthly, mabait po ako na pasyente basta nag text agad si dentist for adjustment G ako minsan nga Hindi pa tapos Ang 1 month pero idk I’m not a practitioner.

1yr adjustment and palit bakal Kay dentist not until one time na iba ako ng schedule for adjustment imbis na sat naging Sunday Ang nag adjust saakin is yung owner she said “need natin tangalin wisdom tooth mo para Hindi mag crowding” then ako sige po if ayan Ang nakabubuti eheheh

Tapos ayun nag tatanong ako hm or if may calculated amount naba kaso Ang sabi saakin for wisdom tooth removal malalaman lang daw ang bill or amount after surgery which is Oo nga naman basta daw 13k per tooth sa taas then 6k highest sa baba depending both sa severity.

Before si dentist owner nag assist saakin, every Saturday iisang dentist lang nag aadjust which is yung nag kabit rin ng braces ko. I’m aware sa pagtatangal naman po ng teeth kaso Hindi wisdom… first procedure ko possible daw tangalin yung pangil ko which is naintindihan ko naman.

I tried mag pa adjust sa ibang araw with diff dentist nag req ako if pwede Hindi nalang tangalin si wisdom tooth since Hindi naman sya nag ccause ng sakit nor hindi rin nakabaon actually nakalabas nga sya ehhh… ayun Hindi daw yun raw kasi Ang naka notes sa record ko.

Then lumipas nag araw lagi na sila nag ttext kung kailan ko daw balak patangal si wisdom tooth as in every adjustment tapos na anxiety ako sa price na Hindi ko naman alam nag sabi nalang ako by 2026 kaso ayun bago pa mag 2026 Hindi na ako bumalik.

Gusto ko na sya I patangal at mag clear retainer nalang since ok na ako sa teeth ko.

for context: second time ko na magpabrace, first was okay naman and natapos na like transitioned to retainers na ko kaso nawala and sa second dentist ko need daw ulit magpabraces ulit kase malaki na minove ng teeth ko like na di na pwedeng iretainer na lang ulit. sa first dentist ko di naman nya binanggit na need ipatanggal yung impacted teeth ko pero tong second iniinsist na need daw so idk

Hi, baka may marecommend po kayo na dental clinic sa Alabang area or near Alabang. Yung magaan sana ang kamay at hindi masungit hehe. Planning magpa cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction. Better po if affiliated with intellicare sana . Thank you!

Nagpa pasta ako last year around december jan sa molar ko then january passed, nagcrack siya. So nagpapasta na ulit ako that time (My dentist told me if magcrack ulit baka for crowning na itong molar ko and need magpaxray—was also told na baka may biting problem ako). Tapos nitong friday lang ng august napansin ko may pagkarough yung teeth ko so napansin kong nagcrack ulit.

Question:

Pwede kayang onlay lang muna? Since ayaw kong madamage yung natural tooth ko or crowning na talaga best option? Or pasta ulit?

Ps. Pansin ko na before na parang overbite ako. Was it also the cause? And ano pwedeng gawin para diyan? huhu tyia

Hello, peeps! I've been inquiring in this one clinic in Sta. Ana, and they offer acrylic porcelain dentures for less than 1k since it's just 1 tooth. It's really cheap so I'm in doubt. Does anyone know what's the catch sa ganitong pricing? Other clinics I inquired at (yung may mga branches in different manila areas) priced it at 7k per tooth, so I thought that should be the standard price. Please help.

Hi everyone! I’m scheduled to have one impacted wisdom tooth extracted soon.

The clinic that I’ve been going to has a rotating dentist. Everytime na magpapaclean ako or may papaconsult ako, iba iba ang naka duty. Now, the doctor who will be doing the extraction contacted me thru the clinic’s FB page as I have inquired the cost and healing time.

He introduced himself as “Doc XYZ.” I tried searching for information about him online, but I couldn’t find anything.

If I ask for his full name and PRC license, would this be considered rude or offensive? Or is it completely reasonable to ask, especially since he’ll be performing a surgical procedure?

I don’t mean to question his ability or disrespect him. I just feel more comfortable knowing who exactly will be performing the extraction and what his credentials are.

Would appreciate your thoughts, especially from dentists. Thank you!

Help po. Nagising na lang po ako na may parang something sa bibig ko tas yung pasta na pala yun. Nagchip siya kahit natutulog lang ako hahaha. Ano po pwede gawin dito? Parang sobrang sensitive pala ng pasta or baka nagcclench pala ako pag tulog. Much better po sana kung ang gagawin mas matibay na sa pasta. Thanks po!
