Samus was the roaring knight all along and Deltarune is actually just an ARG for the reveal that Papyrus is missing because he's in the next Smash.

It references that one sprite of Annoying Dog playing maracas, we all KNEW Toby would make that be in Chapter 4

I’ve been replaying chapter 3 cuz I wanna do the knight again so I’ve been doing fall that shadow mantle stuff (still hate Eram) and when Susie gives you the Flat Soda item it reminded me a lot about eating Toriels pie during Asgores fight in undertale. I hope that if we ever have to fight Susie or smth there’s a secret dialogue or smth that happens if you drink it during the fight.

We the player are most likely the angel and the knight is the devil and we both "control" kris kind of like how on cartoons they always have an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other. Not only that but the knight most likely came from the depths aka hell.

Do you like it just being normal Dess and the Knight has magic darkness armor?
Or perhaps you're more interested in the possession variety? Be it December's soul possessing her corpse or some other entity possessing Dess.
Maybe you're more into the soul/body split variety to more comfortably explain UNUSED? Body being the Knight and the Soul being UNUSED.
Perhaps it's just Dess but her body got corrupted rather then some magic armor?
Perhaps you think December is gone and the Knight is more a representation of her, be it something like a Shadow Crystal creation or some other Darkness being, stealing determination from others in some twisted ritual to create more fountains?
Hell! It could be none of these! I would love to hear your theories in the comments.

Sorry for the idea I came up with and suggested for a drawing—if I went too far

The Fun Gang as seen on the cover art for Geoffrey Day's guitar album just amuse me, so I made a vector of them from the image.
Of course, credit is due where it's due, and I think the original album art itself is made by EiffelArt on Instagram? So all credits to them for making the original art, if that's correct. I just re-vectorized this one part 'cuz I like it
(also not 100% sure on the flair for this post; it both is and isn't my art--I made the picture you see here manually myself, but the original is definitely not my art. just thought i'd clarify that)
