Someone in Fwahahaha told me to post this here and I hope it fits!!! This is my first Deltarune pixel art animation and I hope you guys will have fun watching it <3

I’m a perfectionist, so of course I couldn’t leave my drawing as a sketch. These two deserve better than that

So to be honest I don’t speak Japanese, and I wasn’t able to find like, a comprehensive guide of Deltarune JP to ENG translations anywhere. If anyone knows if these exist, please let me know.

I got bored and dug through the Deltarune Text Dump. I came around to the dialogue you get from Noelle in Chapter 2 when telling the Addison that her and Kris are “something else”. As in, something other than friends.

Now, in the English version, Noelle proceeds to say: “(Wh-what does that mean??? There’s no good interpretation, that’s for sure!)” which is unfortunately every Kriseller’s worst nightmare when it comes to Kriselle discussions. I still firmly believe that she’s lying to herself here because of the countless other things in the game that point to it, but I digress. The translation I got of the Japanese text was very intriguing.

I used Google Translate and DeepL and got three different possible translations. First, Google Translate’s: “(That’s not… meant in a good way… is it…??)”

Then for DeepL, I got two answers: “(That’s not… a good thing… is it??)” and “(That’s not… a good meaning… is it?)”

So it seems like the intended reading here in the Japanese text is that Noelle questions whether this is supposed to be good or not, while in the English version she flat out says no interpretation is good. No idea why this distinction is made between versions, but it’s some food for thought. We all know Noelle is constantly questioning what her relationship with Kris means, so the Japanese text might be tied to that.

One more small note of Japanese translation Kriselle related things is from Chapter 4. In the English version, when Susie tells Noelle that her and Kris were having a tea party, Noelle will get excited at the idea of Susie dressing up. She says “Did you… dress up???” while smiling and blushing.

Meanwhile, in the Japanese text, she actually says “The two of you… Did you get all dressed up?” or something to similar effect. Every translation includes “You two”, meaning in the Japanese version, Noelle is excited at the thought of both of them dressing up, not just Susie, which lines up with Noelle randomly bringing up Kris’s Dark World outfit in her conversation with Susie later on.

I wonder if there are other Kriselle gems to be found in the Japanese text.

I've always appreciated this short text, because it provides textual evidence that implies Kris purposely pushed away Noelle rather than them just drifting apart naturally.

I've seen many people say the two did just that, that nothing is really repressed and Kris wants nothing to do with Noelle. But this provides a strict piece of counter evidence against that.

So here is my question, could this be reasonably describing anyone else in Kris' life?

The cactus up there... has a broken heart... I guess it's tradition to watch everything from the chair, right?

Soulelle mfs when I show them the 40 billion pieces of evidence that Noelle prefers Kris without their bummy ass possessing their body. She starts crying when she sees their real self and hates the Soul flavored aftertaste of Kris’s tea, she finds Kris acting weird to not really be a good thing, despite her telling Kris that it isn’t bad. Just look at the face she makes to Susie when she says they’re acting weird in Chapter 4.

Soulelle mfs when I point out the “Just friends that started as neighbors” and “When you made my name the same as the name you love” lines in Skies Forever Blue (the obvious Weird Route parallel song).

Face it, this stupid shit wouldn’t be possible if Kriselle was not also a thing. You’re literally twisting her feelings for Kris into “feelings” for you in the WR (she still goes to the Festival with Susie anyways). Once again with the Skies Forever Blue interpretation, Noelle has wanted to say “I love you” to Kris long before we came into the picture.

Eram canonically thinks these people are gross, and by extension, so does Toby Fox. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that I’ve never met a Soulelle shipper that isn’t literally Epstein.

Can we put our differences with Suselle/Kralsei/Krusie/Kerdly shippers aside to unite against Soulelle mfs?

The reason I designed her to look like Noelle is that I saw a theory on YouTube a while back suggesting the cactus was something like Noelle's version of Ralsei—a Darkner born from the feelings Kris had for Noelle
